Joshua 9:18
और इस्राएलियों ने उन को न मारा, क्योंकि मण्डली के प्रधानों ने उनके संग इस्राएल के परमेश्वर यहोवा की शपथ खाई थी। तब सारी मण्डली के लोग प्रधानों के विरुद्ध कुड़कुड़ाने लगे।

| of the congregation | לָהֶם֙ | lāhem | la-HEM |
| had sworn | נְשִׂיאֵ֣י | nĕśîʾê | neh-see-A |
| Lord the by them unto | הָֽעֵדָ֔ה | hāʿēdâ | ha-ay-DA |
| God | בַּֽיהוָ֖ה | bayhwâ | bai-VA |
| of Israel. | אֱלֹהֵ֣י | ʾĕlōhê | ay-loh-HAY |
| all And | יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל | yiśrāʾēl | yees-ra-ALE |
| the congregation | וַיִּלֹּ֥נוּ | wayyillōnû | va-yee-LOH-noo |
| murmured | כָל | kāl | hahl |
