וַֽתַּעֲנ֣וּ׀ ye va-ta-uh-NOO וַתֹּֽאמְר֣וּ answered va-toh-meh-ROO אֵלַ֗י and ay-LAI חָטָאנוּ֮ said ha-ta-NOO לַֽיהוָה֒ unto lai-VA אֲנַ֤חְנוּ sinned uh-NAHK-noo נַֽעֲלֶה֙ have na-uh-LEH וְנִלְחַ֔מְנוּ We veh-neel-HAHM-noo כְּכֹ֥ל me, keh-HOLE אֲשֶׁר against uh-SHER צִוָּ֖נוּ the tsee-WA-noo יְהוָ֣ה Lord, yeh-VA אֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ we ay-loh-HAY-noo וַֽתַּחְגְּר֗וּ will va-tahk-ɡeh-ROO אִ֚ישׁ go eesh אֶת up et כְּלֵ֣י and keh-LAY מִלְחַמְתּ֔וֹ fight, meel-hahm-TOH וַתָּהִ֖ינוּ all va-ta-HEE-noo לַֽעֲלֹ֥ת to la-uh-LOTE הָהָֽרָה׃ according ha-HA-ra
