પદ્ધી શમુએલે યહોવાને વિનંતી કરી. એજ દિવસે યહોવાએ ગર્જના વિજળી તથા વરસાદ મોકલ્યા, આને કારણે લોકો યહોવૅંથી અને શમુએલથી ડરવા લાગ્યા.
