લેવીઓના આગેવાનોનો મુખી, યાજક હારુનનો પુત્ર એલઆઝાર હતો; પવિત્રસ્થાનની સેવામાં જે બધા હતા તે સૌનો તે ઉપરી હતો, તેમના કાર્ય ઉપર દેખરેખ રાખવાની જવાબદારી તેની હતી.
