Numbers 18:24
લોકોએ તેમની પાસે જે કાઈ હોય તેનો દશમો ભાગ યહોવાને અર્પણ કરવા. તે અર્પણો લેવીઓના છે. તે હું તેમને તેમના વારસા તરીકે આપુ છું; તેથી જ મેં આ શબ્દો લેવીઓ વિષે કહ્યાં હતાં, તેઓને બીજા ઇસ્રાએલીઓની જેમ જમીન જાગીર મળે નહિ.”
