Joshua 21:4
કહાથનું કુટુંબ યાજક હારુન જે લેવી કુળસમૂહનો હતો, તેના વંશજો હતા. કહાથ કુટુંબના થોડા ભાગને 13 નગરો આપવામાં આવ્યાં હતાં જે પ્રદેશ યહૂદા, શિમયોન તથા બિન્યામીન કુળસમૂહઓની માંલિકીનો હતો.
