Joshua 19:47
જ્યારે દાનના લોકો પોતાનો પ્રદેશ ખોઈ બેઠા ત્યારે તેમણે લેશેમ જઈને તેના ઉપર હુમલો કર્યો. અને તેને જીતી લીધું અને ત્યાંના લોકોને મોતને ઘાટ ઉતાર્યા; ત્યારબાદ તેમણે તેનો કબજો મેળવીને ત્યાં વસવાટ કર્યો. તેમણે તેનું નામ લેશેમ બદલીને પોતાના દાન કુળસમૂહના નામ પરથી ‘દાન’ રાખ્યુ.
