Joshua 1:2
“હવે માંરા સેવક મૂસાનું અવસાન થયું છે. તેથી તું ઇસ્રાએલના લોકોનો નેતા છે. તેથી ઇસ્રાએલના બધા લોકોને લઈ અને યર્દન નદીની પેલે પાર હું તને જે દેશ આપું છું ત્યાં જા.

| this | הָעָ֣ם | hāʿām | ha-AM |
| people, | הַזֶּ֔ה | hazze | ha-ZEH |
| unto | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| the land | הָאָ֕רֶץ | hāʾāreṣ | ha-AH-rets |
| which | אֲשֶׁ֧ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| I | אָֽנֹכִ֛י | ʾānōkî | ah-noh-HEE |
