Jeremiah 21:9
જે કોઇ આ શહેરમાં રહેશે તે યુદ્ધથી, દુકાળથી કે રોગથી મૃત્યુ પામશે, પણ જે કોઇ તમને ઘેરો ઘાલીને પડેલી બાબિલની સૈનાને શરણે જશે તે બચવા પામશે, કઇં નહિ તો યે તે જીવતો તો રહેશે જ.

| pestilence: the by and | וּבַדָּ֑בֶר | ûbaddāber | oo-va-DA-ver |
| out, goeth that he but | וְהַיּוֹצֵא֩ | wĕhayyôṣēʾ | veh-ha-yoh-TSAY |
| and falleth | וְנָפַ֨ל | wĕnāpal | veh-na-FAHL |

| Chaldeans the | הַכַּשְׂדִּ֜ים | hakkaśdîm | ha-kahs-DEEM |
| that besiege | הַצָּרִ֤ים | haṣṣārîm | ha-tsa-REEM |
| עֲלֵיכֶם֙ | ʿălêkem | uh-lay-HEM | |
| live, shall he you, | יְחָיָ֔ה | yĕḥāyâ | yeh-ha-YA |
| and his life | וְהָֽיְתָה | wĕhāyĕtâ | veh-HA-yeh-ta |
