Isaiah 48:14
“તમે બધા એકઠા થાઓ અને સાંભળો, તમારી સર્વ મૂર્તિઓમાંથી કોણે તમને આ પ્રમાણે કહ્યું,” યહોવા કોરેશ ઉપર પ્રેમ કરે છે. બાબિલનાં સામ્રાજ્યનો અંત લાવવા યહોવા તેનો ઉપયોગ કરશે. તે ખાલદીઓના સૈન્યનો વિનાશ કરશે.

| him: he will do | אֲהֵב֔וֹ | ʾăhēbô | uh-hay-VOH |
| his pleasure | יַעֲשֶׂ֤ה | yaʿăśe | ya-uh-SEH |
| Babylon, on | חֶפְצוֹ֙ | ḥepṣô | hef-TSOH |
| and his arm | בְּבָבֶ֔ל | bĕbābel | beh-va-VEL |
| shall be on the Chaldeans. | וּזְרֹע֖וֹ | ûzĕrōʿô | oo-zeh-roh-OH |
