તે જ રાત્રે યહોવાના દૂતે આશ્શૂરીઓની છાવણીમાં જઇને 1ણ 85 ણ000 યોદ્ધાઓને મોતને ઘાટ ઉતાર્યા; લોકોએ સવારે ઊઠીને જોયું તો, તેઓની આગળ એ બધા મરેલા પડ્યા હતા.
