દાઉદે દેવની સલાહ પ્રમાણે કર્યુ અને તેણે ગિબયોનથી ઠેઠ ગેઝેર સુધી પલિસ્તીઓના લશ્કરને હાંકી કાઠયુ.

David	וַיַּ֣עַשׂ	wayyaʿaś	va-YA-as
therefore did	דָּוִ֔יד	dāwîd	da-VEED
as	כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר	kaʾăšer	ka-uh-SHER
God	צִוָּ֖הוּ	ṣiwwāhû	tsee-WA-hoo
commanded	הָֽאֱלֹהִ֑ים	hāʾĕlōhîm	ha-ay-loh-HEEM
him: and they smote	וַיַּכּוּ֙	wayyakkû	va-ya-KOO
	אֶת	ʾet	et
the host	מַֽחֲנֵ֣ה	maḥănē	ma-huh-NAY
of the Philistines	פְלִשְׁתִּ֔ים	pĕlištîm	feh-leesh-TEEM
Gibeon from	מִגִּבְע֖וֹן	miggibʿôn	mee-ɡeev-ONE
even to	וְעַד	wĕʿad	veh-AD
Gazer.	גָּֽזְרָה׃	gāzĕrâ	ɡA-zeh-ra
