Exodus 12:10
તે જ રાત્રે બધું જ માંસ ખાઈ લેવું જોઈએ. અને જો એમાંનું કંઈ સવાર સુધી રહે તો તે માંસને તમાંરે આગમાં બાળી મૂકવું.

જે દિવસે એ અર્પણ ધરાવેલ હોય તે જ દિવસે એનું માંસ જમી લેવું. એમાંથી કશુંય બીજા દિવસે જમવા માંટે રાખવું નહિ.

સાત દિવસ પર્યંત તમાંરા ઘરમાં ખમીરનો છાંટો પણ ન હોવો જોઈએ. તેમજ પહેલે દિવસે સાંજે વધેરેલા પશુનું થોડું પણ માંસ સવાર સુધી વાસી રહેવું જોઈએ નહિ.
