Deuteronomy 31:20
જે દેશ મેં એમના પિતૃઓને આપવાનું વચન આપ્યું હતું ત્યાં હું તેમને લઈ જઈશ ત્યારે તે દૂધ અને મધથી ઉભરાતો હશે, તેઓને જેટલું ખાવું હોય તેટલું ખાશે, કે જ્યાં સુધી સંપૂર્ણ તૃપ્ત ન થાય. અને તેઓ અન્ય દેવો તરફ વળી જઈને તેમની પૂજા કરશે, એમ તેઓ માંરી અવજ્ઞા કરીને માંરા કરારનો ભંગ કરશે.

| eaten have shall they and | וְאָכַ֥ל | wĕʾākal | veh-ah-HAHL |
| and filled themselves, | וְשָׂבַ֖ע | wĕśābaʿ | veh-sa-VA |
| fat; waxen and | וְדָשֵׁ֑ן | wĕdāšēn | veh-da-SHANE |
| then will they turn | וּפָנָ֞ה | ûpānâ | oo-fa-NA |
| unto | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| other | אֱלֹהִ֤ים | ʾĕlōhîm | ay-loh-HEEM |
| gods, | אֲחֵרִים֙ | ʾăḥērîm | uh-hay-REEM |
| and serve | וַֽעֲבָד֔וּם | waʿăbādûm | va-uh-va-DOOM |
| them, and provoke | וְנִ֣אֲצ֔וּנִי | wĕniʾăṣûnî | veh-NEE-uh-TSOO-nee |
| break and me, | וְהֵפֵ֖ר | wĕhēpēr | veh-hay-FARE |
