Deuteronomy 16:12
તમે મિસરમાં ગુલામ હતા, તેથી આ આજ્ઞાનું પાલન કરીને કાળજીપૂર્વક નિયમોનું પાલન કરવાનું યાદ રાખજો.

| Egypt: in | בְּמִצְרָ֑יִם | bĕmiṣrāyim | beh-meets-RA-yeem |
| and thou shalt observe | וְשָֽׁמַרְתָּ֣ | wĕšāmartā | veh-sha-mahr-TA |
| do and | וְעָשִׂ֔יתָ | wĕʿāśîtā | veh-ah-SEE-ta |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| these | הַֽחֻקִּ֖ים | haḥuqqîm | ha-hoo-KEEM |
| statutes. | הָאֵֽלֶּה׃ | hāʾēlle | ha-A-leh |
