2 Samuel 18:14
યોઆબે કહ્યું, “માંરી પાસે તારી સાથે નિરર્થક વાતોની ચર્ચા કરવાનો સમય નથી,” એમ કહીને તેણે ત્રણ ભાલા લીધા અને ઝાડે લટકતાં અને હજી જીવતા રહેલા આબ્શાલોમની છાતીમાં ભોંકી દીધા.

| in his hand, | בְּכַפּ֗וֹ | bĕkappô | beh-HA-poh |
| thrust and | וַיִּתְקָעֵם֙ | wayyitqāʿēm | va-yeet-ka-AME |
| them through the heart | בְּלֵ֣ב | bĕlēb | beh-LAVE |
| Absalom, of | אַבְשָׁל֔וֹם | ʾabšālôm | av-sha-LOME |
| while | עוֹדֶ֥נּוּ | ʿôdennû | oh-DEH-noo |
| alive yet was he | חַ֖י | ḥay | hai |
| in the midst | בְּלֵ֥ב | bĕlēb | beh-LAVE |
