હૂશાયે તેને જવાબ આપ્યો, “એ શી રીતે બને? જેને યહોવાએ, આ લોકોએ તથા ઇસ્રાએલના સર્વ માંણસોએ પસંદ કર્યો, તેનો જ હું થઈશ, ને તેના જ પક્ષમાં હું રહીશ.

| and this | יְהוָ֛ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| people, | וְהָעָ֥ם | wĕhāʿām | veh-ha-AM |
| and all | הַזֶּ֖ה | hazze | ha-ZEH |
| men the | וְכָל | wĕkāl | veh-HAHL |
| of Israel, | אִ֣ישׁ | ʾîš | eesh |
| choose, | יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל | yiśrāʾēl | yees-ra-ALE |
| be, I will his | לֹ֥א | lōʾ | loh |
| and with | אֶֽהְיֶ֖ה | ʾehĕye | eh-heh-YEH |
