2 Samuel 1:12
લોકો ઘણા દુ:ખી હતા. તેઓએ વિલાપ કર્યો, ને સાંજ સુધી ઉપવાસ કર્યો; કારણ કે શાઉલ, તેનો પુત્ર યોનાથાન યહોવાના લોકો તથા ઇસ્રાએલના ઘણા સૈનિકો યુદ્ધમાં માંર્યા ગયા હતાં.

| Jonathan | יְהֽוֹנָתָ֣ן | yĕhônātān | yeh-hoh-na-TAHN |
| his son, | בְּנ֗וֹ | bĕnô | beh-NOH |
| and for | וְעַל | wĕʿal | veh-AL |
| people the | עַ֤ם | ʿam | am |
| of the Lord, | יְהוָה֙ | yĕhwāh | yeh-VA |
| and for | וְעַל | wĕʿal | veh-AL |
| the house | בֵּ֣ית | bêt | bate |
| Israel; of | יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל | yiśrāʾēl | yees-ra-ALE |
