આમ, પલિસ્તીઓનો પરાજય થયો. અને શમુએલ જીવ્યો ત્યાં સુધી યહોવાએ તેમને ઇસ્રાએલીઓના પ્રદેશ ઉપર આક્રમણ કરવા દીધું નહિ.
