1 Now these were the sons of David, who were born to him in Hebron; the first-born Amnon, of Ahinoam the Jezreelitess; the second Daniel, of Abigail the Carmelitess:દાઉદને હેબ્રોનમાં જે પુત્રો થયા તેમાં યિઝએલી અહીનોઆમથી જન્મેલો આમ્મોન, દાઉદ રાજાનો જયેષ્ઠ પુત્ર હતો. બીજો પુત્ર, કામેર્લની અબીગાઈલથી જન્મેલો દાનિયેલ હતો.

2 The third, Absalom the son of Maachah the daughter of Talmai king of Geshur: the fourth, Adonijah the son of Haggith:દાઉદનો ત્રીજો પુત્ર, ગશૂરના રાજા તાલ્માયની પુત્રી માઅખાહથી જન્મેલો આબ્શાલોમ હતો. ચોથો, હાગ્ગીથનો પુત્ર અદોનિયા હતો.

3 The fifth, Shephatiah of Abital: the sixth, Ithream by Eglah his wife.પાંચમો, શફાટયા જેની માતા અબીટાલ હતી, અને છઠ્ઠો, યિથઆમ જેની માતા એગ્લાહ હતી.

4 These six were born to him in Hebron; and there he reigned seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years.આ છ પુત્રો હેબ્રોનમાં જન્મ્યાં હતા. જયાં દાઉદે સાત વર્ષ અને છ માસ રાજ કર્યુ હતું. યરૂશાલેમમાં તેણે તેત્રીસ વર્ષ રાજ કર્યુ હતું

5 And these were born to him in Jerusalem; Shimea, and Shobab, and Nathan, and Solomon, four, of Bath-shua the daughter of Ammiel:અને ત્યાં તેને આમ્મીએલની પુત્રી બાથ-શૂઆથી જન્મેલા પુત્રો: શિમઆ, સોબાબ, નાથાન અને સુલેમાન.

6 Ibhar also, and Elishama, and Eliphelet,દાઉદને બીજા નવ પુત્રો હતા: યિબ્હાર, અલીશામા, અલીફેલેટ.

7 And Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia,નોગાહ, નેફેગ, યાફીઆ;

8 And Elishama, and Eliada, and Eliphelet, nine.અલીશામા, એલ્યાદા અને અલીફેલેટ.

9 These were all the sons of David, besides the sons of the concubines, and Tamar their sister.તેની ઉપપત્નીઓના પુત્રો ઉપરાંત એ સઘળા દાઉદના પુત્રો હતા; અને તામાર તેઓની બહેન હતી.

10 And Solomon's son was Rehoboam, Abia his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son,સુલેમાનનો પુત્ર રહાબઆમ, તેનો પુત્ર અબિયા, તેનો પુત્ર આસા, તેનો પુત્ર યહોશાફાટ;

11 Joram his son, Ahaziah his son, Joash his son,તેનો પુત્ર યહોરામ, તેનો પુત્ર અહાઝયા, તેનો પુત્ર યોઆશ;

12 Amaziah his son, Azariah his son, Jotham his son,તેનો પુત્ર અમાસ્યા તેનો પુત્ર અઝાર્યા, તેનો પુત્ર યોથામ;

13 Ahaz his son, Hezekiah his son, Manasseh his son,તેનો પુત્ર આહાઝ, તેનો પુત્ર હિઝિક્યા, તેનો પુત્ર મનાશ્શા;

14 Amon his son, Josiah his son.તેનો પુત્ર આમોન, તેનો પુત્ર યોશિયા હતો.

15 And the sons of Josiah were, the first-born Johanan, the second Jehoiakim, the third Zedekiah, the fourth Shallum.યોશિયાના પુત્રો: તેના જયેષ્ઠપુત્ર યોહાનાન; બીજો યહોયાકીમ; ત્રીજો, સિદકિયા; ચોથો, શાલ્લૂમ,

16 And the sons of Jehoiakim; Jeconiah his son, Zedekiah his son.યહોયાકીમના પુત્રો: તેનો પુત્ર યખોન્યા, તેનો પુત્ર સિદકિયા.

17 And the sons of Jeconiah; Assir, Salathiel his son.બંદીવાન યખોન્યાના પુત્રો: તેનો પુત્ર શઆલ્તીએલ.

18 Malchiram also, and Pedaiah, and Shenazar, Jecamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.માલ્કીરામ, પદાયા, શેનઆસ્સાર, યકામ્યા, હોશામા તથા નદાબ્યા.

19 And the sons of Pedaiah were, Zerubbabel, and Shimei: and the sons of Zerubbabel; Meshullam, and Hananiah, and Shelomith their sister:પદાયાના પુત્રો: ઝરુબ્બાબેલ તથા શિમઈ; ઝરુબ્બાબેલના પુત્રો: મશુલ્લામ તથા હનાન્યા; તેઓની બહેન શલોમીથ હતી:

20 And Hashubah, and Ohel, and Berechiah, and Hasadiah, and Jushab-hesed, five.અને હશુબાહ, ઓહેલ, બેરેખ્યા, હસાદ્યા તથા યુશાબહેસેદ, એ પાંચ ઝરૂબ્બાબેલના બીજા પુત્રો હતા.

21 And the sons of Hananiah; Pelatiah, and Jesaiah: the sons of Rephaiah, the sons of Arnan, the sons of Obadiah, the sons of Shechaniah.હનાન્યાના પુત્રો: પલાટયા અને તેનો પુત્ર યશાયા, તેનો પુત્ર રફાયા, તેનો પુત્ર આનાન, તેનો પુત્ર ઓબાદ્યા, તેનો પુત્ર શખાન્યા,

22 And the sons of Shechaniah; Shemaiah; and the sons of Shemaiah; Hattush, and Igeal, and Bariah, and Neariah, and Shaphat, six.શખાન્યાનો વંશજ શમાયા, શમાયાના છ પુત્રો: હાટુશ, યિગઆલ, બારિયા, નઆર્યા, તથા શાફાટ.

23 And the sons of Neariah; Elioenai, and Hezekiah, and Azrikam, three.નઆર્યાના ત્રણ પુત્રો: એલ્યોએનાય, હિઝિક્યા તથા આઝીકામ.

24 And the sons of Elioenai were, Hodaiah, and Eliashib, and Pelaiah, and Akkub, and Johanan, and Delaiah, and Anani, seven.એલ્યોએનાયના સાત પુત્રો: હોદાવ્યા, એલ્યાશીબ, પલાયા, આક્કૂબ, યોહાનાન, દલાયા તથા અનાની.
