ஆகையால் இதை மாற்றவும், எருசலேமிலுள்ள தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தைக் கெடுக்கவும், தங்கள் கையை நீட்டப்போகிற சகல ராஜாக்களையும் சகல ஜனங்களையும் தம்முடைய நாமத்தை அங்கே விளங்கப்பண்ணின தேவன் நிர்மூலமாக்கக்கடவர்; தரியுவாகிய நாம் இந்தக் கட்டளையைக் கொடுத்தோம்; இதின்படி ஜாக்கிரதையாய்ச் செய்யப்படக்கடவது என்று எழுதியனுப்பினான்.

தேவன் தமது நாமத்தை எருசலேமில் வைத்திருக்கிறார். இந்தக் கட்டளையை மாற்ற முயல்கிற எந்த அரசர்களையும் அல்லது எந்த ஜனங்களையும் தேவன் தோற்கடிப்பார் என்று நம்புகிறேன். யாராவது இந்த ஆலயத்தை எருசலேமில் அழிக்க முயன்றால் தேவன் அந்த நபரை அழித்துவிடுவார் என்று நம்புகிறேன். தரியுவாகிய நான், இந்தக் கட்டளையைத் தருகிறேன். இந்தக் கட்டளை முழுமையாகவும், விரைவாகவும் செய்யப்பட வேண்டும்!

எந்த மன்னராவது, மக்களாவது இவ்வாணையை மாற்றவோ எருசலேமிலுள்ள கடவுளின் கோவிலை அழிக்கவோ முற்பட்டால், தமது பெயரை அங்கு விளங்கும்படி நிலைநாட்டிய கடவுள் அவர்களை அழிப்பாராக! தாரியு என்னும் நானே இக்கட்டளையைப் பிறப்பித்தேன். இது சரிவர நிறைவேற்றப்படட்டும்.
