20 பதினோராம் வருஷம் முதலாம்மாதம் ஏழாந்தேதியிலே, கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர்:
21 மனுபுத்திரனே, எகிப்தின் ராஜாவாகிய பார்வோனுடைய புயத்தை முறித்துப்போடுவேன்; இதோ, அது குணமாக்கத்தக்கதாகக் கட்டப்படுவதில்லை; அது பட்டயத்தைப் பிடிக்கத்தக்க பெலனை அடையும்படி பத்தைவைத்துக் கட்டப்படுவதுமில்லை.
22 ஆகையால் கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்; இதோ, நான் எகிப்தின் ராஜாவாகிய பார்வோனுக்கு விரோதமாக வந்து, பெலனுள்ளதும் முறிந்ததுமாகிய அவனுடைய புயங்களை முறித்துப்போடுவேன்; பட்டயத்தை நான் அவன் கையிலிருந்து விழப்பண்ணி,

24 பாபிலோன் ராஜாவின் புயங்களைப் பெலப்படுத்தி, அவன் கையிலே என் பட்டயத்தைக் கொடுத்து, பார்வோனின் புயங்களை முறித்துவிடுவேன்; அப்பொழுது அவன் கொலையுண்கிறவன் தவிக்கிறதுபோல அவனுக்கு முன்பாகத் தவிப்பான்.
25 பாபிலோன் ராஜாவின் புயங்களைப் பெலப்படுத்துவேன்; பார்வோனின் புயங்களோ விழுந்துபோம்; என் பட்டயத்தை நான் பாபிலோன் ராஜாவின் கையில் கொடுக்கும்போதும், அவன் அதை எகிப்துதேசத்தின்மேல் நீட்டும்போதும், நான் கர்த்தர் என்று அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள்.
20 And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first month, in the seventh day of the month, that the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
21 Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and, lo, it shall not be bound up to be healed, to put a roller to bind it, to make it strong to hold the sword.
22 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, the strong, and that which was broken; and I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand.
23 And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.
24 And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and put my sword in his hand: but I will break Pharaoh’s arms, and he shall groan before him with the groanings of a deadly wounded man.
25 But I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down; and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Egypt.

A Psalm of Asaph.
1 1 ದೇವರೇ, ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಬಂದು, ನಿನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮಂದಿರವನ್ನು ಅಪವಿತ್ರ ಮಾಡಿ, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮನ್ನು ಹಾಳು ದಿಬ್ಬಗಳಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
O God, the heathen are come into thine inheritance; thy holy temple have they defiled; they have laid Jerusalem on heaps.
2 ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರ ಹೆಣಗಳನ್ನು ಆಕಾಶದ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧರ ಮಾಂಸ ವನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೃಗಗಳಿಗೂ ಆಹಾರವಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿ ದ್ದಾರೆ.
The dead bodies of thy servants have they given to be meat unto the fowls of the heaven, the flesh of thy saints unto the beasts of the earth.
3 ಅವರ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ನೀರಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಚೆಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಡುವ ವನೊಬ್ಬನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
Their blood have they shed like water round about Jerusalem; and there was none to bury them.
4 ನಮ್ಮ ನೆರೆಯವರಿಗೆ ನಿಂದೆಯೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಸುತ್ತಲಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ಗೇಲಿಯೂ ಹಾಸ್ಯವೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ.
We are become a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and derision to them that are round about us.
5 ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನೀನು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಕೋಪ ಮಾಡು ವದೂ ನಿನ್ನ ರೋಷವು ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಉರಿಯು ವದೂ ಎಷ್ಟರವರೆಗೆ?
How long, Lord? wilt thou be angry for ever? shall thy jealousy burn like fire?
6 ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯದ ಜನಾಂಗ ಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಕರೆಯದ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ಹೊಯಿದುಬಿಡು.
Pour out thy wrath upon the heathen that have not known thee, and upon the kingdoms that have not called upon thy name.
7 ಅವರು ಯಾಕೋಬನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅವನ ನಿವಾಸವನ್ನು ಹಾಳುಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
For they have devoured Jacob, and laid waste his dwelling place.
8 ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲದ ಅಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡ. ನಿನ್ನ ಅಂತಃಕರಣಗಳು ಬೇಗ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಳ್ಳಲ್ಲಿ; ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಕುಗ್ಗಿ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ.
O remember not against us former iniquities: let thy tender mercies speedily prevent us: for we are brought very low.
9 ಓ ನಮ್ಮ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನ ಘನದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನಮಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡು; ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿಗಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ತೊಳೆದುಬಿಡು.
Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name’s sake.
10 ಅವರ ದೇವರು ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂದು ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ಯಾಕೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕು? ಚೆಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರ ರಕ್ತದ ಪ್ರತಿ ದಂಡನೆಯನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಅನ್ಯ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಯಲ್ಪಡಲಿ.
Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is their God? let him be known among the heathen in our sight by the revenging of the blood of thy servants which is shed.
11 ಸೆರೆಯವನ ನಿಟ್ಟುಸಿರು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಬರಲಿ--ನಿನ್ನ ಮಹಾ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಸಾಯುವದಕ್ಕಿರುವವರನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡು.
Let the sighing of the prisoner come before thee; according to the greatness of thy power preserve thou those that are appointed to die;
12 ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿಂದಿಸಿದ ನಿಂದೆ ಯನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ನೆರೆಯವರಿಗೆ ಏಳರಷ್ಟು ಅವರ ಉಡಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಹಾಕು.
And render unto our neighbours sevenfold into their bosom their reproach, wherewith they have reproached thee, O Lord.
13 ಆಗ ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಹುಲ್ಲುಗಾವಲಿನ ಕುರಿಗಳೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ನಾವು ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿ ತಲತಲಾಂತರಕ್ಕೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವನ್ನು ಸಾರುವೆವು.
So we thy people and sheep of thy pasture will give thee thanks for ever: we will shew forth thy praise to all generations.
