Exodus 5 in Tamil

1 பின்பு, மோசேயும் ஆரோனும் பார்வோனிடத்தில் போய்: இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் வனாந்தரத்திலே எனக்குப் பண்டிகை கொண்டாடும்படி என் ஜனங்களைப் போகவிடவேண்டும் என்று சொல்லுகிறார் என்றார்கள். And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness.

2 அதற்குப் பார்வோன்: நான் இஸ்ரவேலைப் போகவிடக் கர்த்தரின் வார்த்தையைக் கேட்கிறதற்கு அவர் யார்? நான் கர்த்தரை அறியேன்; நான் இஸ்ரவேலைப் போக விடுவதில்லை என்றான். And Pharaoh said, Who is the LORD, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the LORD, neither will I let Israel go.

3 அப்பொழுது அவர்கள்: எபிரெயருடைய தேவன் எங்களைச் சந்தித்தார்; நாங்கள் வனாந்தரத்தில் மூன்றுநாள் பிரயாணம் போய், எங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குப் பலியிடும்படி போகவிடவேண்டும்; போகாதிருந்தால், அவர் கொள்ளை நோயும் பட்டயமும் எங்கள் மேல் வரப்பண்ணுவார் என்றார்கள். And they said, The God of the Hebrews hath met with us: let us go, we pray thee, three days' journey into the desert, and sacrifice unto the LORD our God; lest he fall upon us with pestilence, or with the sword.

4 எகிப்தின் ராஜா அவர்களை நோக்கி: மோசேயும் ஆரோனுமாகிய நீங்கள் ஜனங்களைத் தங்கள் வேலைகளைவிட்டுக் கலையப் பண்ணுகிறது என்ன? உங்கள் சுமைகளைச் சுமக்கப் போங்கள் என்றான். And the king of Egypt said unto them, Wherefore do ye, Moses and Aaron, let the people from their works? get you unto your burdens.

5 பின்னும் பார்வோன்: இதோ, தேசத்தில் ஜனங்கள் மிகுதியாய் இருக்கிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் சுமை சுமக்கிறதை விட்டு ஓய்ந்திருக்கும்படி செய்கிறீர்களே என்றான். And Pharaoh said, Behold, the people of the land now are many, and ye make them rest from their burdens.

6 அன்றியும், அந்நாளிலே பார்வோன் ஜனங்களின் ஆளோட்டிகளையும் அவர்கள் தலைவரையும் நோக்கி: And Pharaoh commanded the same day the taskmasters of the people, and their officers, saying,

7 செங்கல் வேலைக்கு நீங்கள் முன்போல இனி ஜனங்களுக்கு வைக்கோல் கொடுக்க வேண்டாம்; அவர்கள் தாங்களே போய்த் தங்களுக்கு வைக்கோல் சேர்க்கட்டும். Ye shall no more give the people straw to make brick, as heretofore: let them go and gather straw for themselves.

8 அவர்கள் முன்செய்து கொடுத்த கணக்கின்படியே செங்கல் செய்யும்படி சொல்லுங்கள்; அதிலே நீங்கள் ஒன்றும் குறைக்க வேண்டாம், அவர்கள் சோம்பலாய் இருக்கிறார்கள்; அதினால் நாங்கள் போய் எங்கள் தேவனுக்குப் பலியிடுவோம் என்று கூக்குரலிடுகிறார்கள். And the tale of the bricks, which they did make heretofore, ye shall lay upon them; ye shall not diminish ought thereof: for they be idle; therefore they cry, saying, Let us go and sacrifice to our God.

9 அந்த மனிதர் மேல் முன்னிலும் அதிக வேலையைச் சுமத்துங்கள், அதில் அவர்கள் கஷ்டப்படட்டும்: வீண் வார்த்தைகளுக்கு அவர்கள் செவிகொடுக்க விடாதிருங்கள் என்று கட்டளையிட்டான். Let there more work be laid upon the men, that they may labor therein; and let them not regard vain words.

10 அப்பொழுது ஜனங்களின் ஆளோட்டிகளும் அவர்கள் தலைவர்களும் புறப்பட்டுப் போய் ஜனங்களை நோக்கி: உங்களுக்கு வைக்கோல் கொடுப்பதில்லை; And the taskmasters of the people went out, and their officers, and they spake to the people, saying, Thus saith Pharaoh, I will not give you straw.

11 நீங்களே போய் உங்களுக்கு அகப்படுகிற இடங்களில் வைக்கோல் சம்பாதியுங்கள்; ஆனாலும் உங்கள் வேலையில் ஒன்றும் குறைக்கப்படுவதில்லை என்று பார்வோன் சொல்லுகிறார் என்றார்கள். Go ye, get you straw where ye can find it: yet not ought of your work shall be diminished.

12 அப்பொழுது வைக்கோலுக்குப் பதிலாகத் தாளடிகளைச் சேர்க்கும்படி ஜனங்கள் எகிப்து தேசம் எங்கும் சிதறிப்போனார்கள். So the people were scattered abroad throughout all the land of Egypt to gather stubble instead of straw.

13 ஆளோட்டிகள் அவர்களை நோக்கி: வைக்கோலிருந்த நாளில் செய்தபடியே உங்கள் வேலைகளை ஒவ்வொரு நாளிலும் செய்து முடியுங்கள் என்று சொல்லி, அவர்களைத் துரிதப்படுத்தினார்கள். And the taskmasters hasted them, saying, Fulfil your works, your daily tasks, as when there was straw.

14 பார்வோனுடைய ஆளோட்டிகள் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர்மேல் வைத்த அவர்களுடைய தலைவர்களை நோக்கி: செங்கல் வேலையில் நீங்கள் முன் செய்தது போல நேற்றும் இன்றும் ஏன் செய்யவில்லை என்று கேட்டு, அவர்களை அடித்தார்கள். And the officers of the children of Israel, which Pharaoh's taskmasters had set over them, were beaten, and demanded, Wherefore have ye not fulfilled your task in making brick both yesterday and to day, as heretofore?

15 அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் தலைவர் பார்வோனிடத்தில் போய்ச் சத்தமிட்டு: உமது அடியாருக்கு நீர் இப்படிச் செய்கிறது என்ன? Then the officers of the children of Israel came and cried unto Pharaoh, saying, Wherefore dealest thou thus with thy servants?

16 உமது அடியாருக்கு வைக்கோல் கொடாதிருந்தும், செங்கல் அறுத்துத் தீரவேண்டும் என்று எங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறார்கள்; உம்முடைய ஜனங்களிடத்தில் குற்றமிருக்க, உமது அடியாராகிய நாங்கள் அடிக்கப்படுகிறோம் என்றார்கள். There is no straw given unto thy servants, and they say to us, Make brick: and, behold, thy servants are beaten; but the fault is in thine own people.

17 அதற்கு அவன்: நீங்கள் சோம்பலாயிருக்கிறீர்கள், சோம்பலாயிருக்கிறீர்கள்; அதினால்தான் போக வேண்டும், கர்த்தருக்குப் பலியிடவேண்டும் என்கிறீர்கள். But he said, Ye are idle, ye are idle: therefore ye say, Let us go and do sacrifice to the LORD.

18 போய், வேலைசெய்யுங்கள், உங்களுக்கு வைக்கோல் கொடுக்கப்படுவதில்லை; ஆனாலும் கணக்கின்படியே நீங்கள் செங்கலை ஒப்புவிக்கவேண்டும் என்றான். Go therefore now, and work; for there shall no straw be given you, yet shall ye deliver the tale of bricks.

19 நீங்கள் ஒவ்வொரு நாளிலும் அறுத்துத் தீரவேண்டிய செங்கலிலே ஒன்றும் குறைக͠Εபύபடாது என்று சொல்லப்பட்டதினாலே, இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் தலைவர் தங்களுக்கு இக்கட்டு வந்தது என்று கண்டார்கள். And the officers of the children of Israel did see that they were in evil case, after it was said, Ye shall not minish ought from your bricks of your daily task.

20 அவர்கள் பார்வோனுடைய சமுகத்தைவிட்டுப் புறப்படுகையில், வழியில் நின்ற மோசேக்கும் ஆரோனுக்கும் எதிர்ப்பட்டு, And they met Moses and Aaron, who stood in the way, as they came forth from Pharaoh:

21 அவர்களை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் பார்வோனின் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாகவும் அவருடைய ஊழியக்காரரின் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாகவும் எங்கள் வாசனையைக் கெடுத்து, எங்களைக் கொல்லும்படி அவர்கள் கையிலே பட்டயத்தைக் கொடுத்ததினிமித்தம், கர்த்தர் உங்களைப் பார்த்து நியாயம் தீர்க்கக்கடவர் என்றார்கள். And they said unto them, The LORD look upon you, and judge; because ye have made our savor to be abhorred in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to slay us.

22 அப்பொழுது மோசே கர்த்தரிடத்தில் திரும்பிப்போய்: ஆண்டவரே, இந்த ஜனங்களுக்குத் தீங்கு வரப் பண்ணினதென்ன? ஏன் என்னை அனுப்பினீர்? And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, LORD, wherefore hast thou so evil entreated this people? why is it that thou hast sent me?

23 நான் உமது நாமத்தைக்கொண்டு பேசும்படி பார்வோனிடத்தில் பிரவேசித்தது முதல் அவன் இந்த ஜனங்களை உபத்திரவப்படுத்துகிறான்; நீர் உம்முடைய ஜனங்களை விடுதலையாக்கவில்லையே என்றான். For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in thy name, he hath done evil to this people; neither hast thou delivered thy people at all.

1 Pinpu, Mosesyum aaronum paarvonidaththil poy: isravaelin thaevanaakiya Karththar vanaantharaththilae enakkup panntikai konndaadumpati en janangalaip pokavidavaenndum entu sollukiraar entarkal. And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness.

2 Atharkup paarvon: naan isravaelaip pokavidak karththarin vaarththaiyaik kaetkiratharku avar yaar? Naan karththarai ariyaen; naan isravaelaip poka viduvathillai entan. And Pharaoh said, Who is the LORD, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the LORD, neither will I let Israel go.

3 Appoluthu avarkal: epireyarutaiya Dhevan engalaich santhiththaar; naangal vanaantharaththil moontunaal pirayaanam poy, engal thaevanaakiya karththarukkup paliyidumpati pokavidavaenndum; pokaathirunthaal, avar kollai Nnoyum pattayamum engal mael varappannnuvaar entarkal. And they said, The God of the Hebrews hath met with us: let us go, we pray thee, three days' journey into the desert, and sacrifice unto the LORD our God; lest he fall upon us with pestilence, or with the sword.

4 Ekipthin raajaa avarkalai Nnokki: Mosesyum aaronumaakiya neengal janangalaith thangal vaelaikalaivittuk kalaiyap pannnukirathu enna? Ungal sumaikalaich sumakkap pongal entan. And the king of Egypt said unto them, Wherefore do ye, Moses and Aaron, let the people from their works? get you unto your burdens.

5 Pinnum paarvon: itho, thaesaththil janangal mikuthiyaay irukkiraarkal; avarkal sumai sumakkirathai vittu oynthirukkumpati seykireerkalae entan. And Pharaoh said, Behold, the people of the land now are many, and ye make them rest from their burdens.

6 Antiyum, annaalilae paarvon janangalin aalottikalaiyum avarkal thalaivaraiyum Nnokki: And Pharaoh commanded the same day the taskmasters of the people, and their officers, saying,

7 Sengal vaelaikku neengal munpola ini janangalukku vaikkol kodukka vaenndaam; avarkal thaangalae poyth thangalukku vaikkol serkkattum. Ye shall no more give the people straw to make brick, as heretofore: let them go and gather straw for themselves.

8 Avarkal munseythu koduththa kanakkinpatiyae sengal seyyumpati sollungal; athilae neengal ontum kuraikka vaenndaam, avarkal sompalaay irukkiraarkal; athinaal naangal poy engal thaevanukkup paliyiduvom entu kookkuralidukiraarkal. And the tale of the bricks, which they did make heretofore, ye shall lay upon them; ye shall not diminish ought thereof: for they be idle; therefore they cry, saying, Let us go and sacrifice to our God.

9 Antha manithar mael munnilum athika vaelaiyaich sumaththungal, athil avarkal kashdappadattum: veenn vaarththaikalukku avarkal sevikodukka vidaathirungal entu kattalaiyittan. Let there more work be laid upon the men, that they may labor therein; and let them not regard vain words.

10 Appoluthu janangalin aalottikalum avarkal thalaivarkalum purappattup poy janangalai Nnokki: ungalukku vaikkol koduppathillai; And the taskmasters of the people went out, and their officers, and they spake to the people, saying, Thus saith Pharaoh, I will not give you straw.

11 Neengalae poy ungalukku akappadukira idangalil vaikkol sampaathiyungal; aanaalum ungal vaelaiyil ontum kuraikkappaduvathillai entu paarvon sollukiraar entarkal. Go ye, get you straw where ye can find it: yet not ought of your work shall be diminished.

12 Appoluthu vaikkolukkup pathilaakath thaalatikalaich serkkumpati janangal ekipthu thaesam engum sitharipponaarkal. So the people were scattered abroad throughout all the land of Egypt to gather stubble instead of straw.

13 Aalottikal avarkalai Nnokki: vaikkoliruntha naalil seythapatiyae ungal vaelaikalai ovvoru naalilum seythu mutiyungal entu solli, avarkalaith thurithappaduththinaarkal. And the taskmasters hasted them, saying, Fulfil your works, your daily tasks, as when there was straw.

14 Paarvonutaiya aalottikal Israel puththirarmael vaiththa avarkalutaiya thalaivarkalai Nnokki: sengal vaelaiyil neengal mun seythathu pola naettaுm intum aen seyyavillai entu kaettu, avarkalai atiththaarkal. And the officers of the children of Israel, which Pharaoh's taskmasters had set over them, were beaten, and demanded, Wherefore have ye not fulfilled your task in making brick both yesterday and to day, as heretofore?

15 Appoluthu Israel puththirarin thalaivar paarvonidaththil poych saththamittu: umathu atiyaarukku neer ippatich seykirathu enna? Then the officers of the children of Israel came and cried unto Pharaoh, saying, Wherefore dealest thou thus with thy servants?

16 Umathu atiyaarukku vaikkol kodaathirunthum, sengal araுththuth theeravaenndum entu engalukkuch sollukiraarkal; ummutaiya janangalidaththil kuttamirukka, umathu atiyaaraakiya naangal atikkappadukirom entarkal. There is no straw given unto thy servants, and they say to us, Make brick: and, behold, thy servants are beaten; but the fault is in thine own people.

17 Atharku avan: neengal sompalaayirukkireerkal, sompalaayirukkireerkal; athinaalthaan poka vaenndum, karththarukkup paliyidavaenndum enkireerkal. But he said, Ye are idle, ye are idle: therefore ye say, Let us go and do sacrifice to the LORD.

18 Poy, vaelaiseyyungal, ungalukku vaikkol kodukkappaduvathillai; aanaalum kanakkinpatiyae neengal sengalai oppuvikkavaenndum entan. Go therefore now, and work; for there shall no straw be given you, yet shall ye deliver the tale of bricks.

19 Neengal ovvoru naalilum araுththuth theeravaenntiya sengalilae ontum kuraika͠Εpaύpadaathu entu sollappattathinaalae, Israel puththirarin thalaivar thangalukku ikkattu vanthathu entu kanndaarkal. And the officers of the children of Israel did see that they were in evil case, after it was said, Ye shall not minish ought from your bricks of your daily task.

20 Avarkal paarvonutaiya samukaththaivittup purappadukaiyil, valiyil ninta Moseskkum aaronukkum ethirppattu, And they met Moses and Aaron, who stood in the way, as they came forth from Pharaoh:

21 Avarkalai Nnokki: neengal paarvonin kannkalukku munpaakavum avarutaiya ooliyakkaararin kannkalukku munpaakavum engal vaasanaiyaik keduththu, engalaik kollumpati avarkal kaiyilae pattayaththaik koduththathinimiththam, Karththar ungalaip paarththu niyaayam theerkkakkadavar entarkal. And they said unto them, The LORD look upon you, and judge; because ye have made our savor to be abhorred in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to slay us.

22 Appoluthu Moses karththaridaththil thirumpippoy: aanndavarae, intha janangalukkuth theengu varap pannnninathenna? Aen ennai anuppineer? And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, LORD, wherefore hast thou so evil entreated this people? why is it that thou hast sent me?

23 Naan umathu naamaththaikkonndu paesumpati paarvonidaththil piravaesiththathu muthal avan intha janangalai upaththiravappaduththukiraan; neer ummutaiya janangalai viduthalaiyaakkavillaiyae entan. For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in thy name, he hath done evil to this people; neither hast thou delivered thy people at all.
