Exodus 19 in Tamil

1 இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் எகிப்து தேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்ட மூன்றாம் மாதம் முதலாம் நாளிலே, சீனாய் வனாந்தரத்தில் சேர்ந்தார்கள். In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai.

2 அவர்கள் ரெவிதீமிலிருந்து பிரயாணம் புறப்பட்டு, சீனாய் வனாந்தரத்தில் சேர்ந்து, அந்த வனாந்தரத்தில் பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்; இஸ்ரவேலர் அங்கே மலைக்கு எதிராகப் பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள். For they were departed from Rephidim, and were come to the desert of Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Israel camped before the mount.

3 மோசே தேவனிடத்திற்கு ஏறிப்போனான்; கர்த்தர் மலையிலிருந்து அவனைக் கூப்பிட்டு: நீ யாக்கோபு வம்சத்தாருக்குச் சொல்லவும், இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்கு அறிவிக்கவும் வேண்டியது என்னவென்றால், And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel;

4 நான் எகிப்தியருக்குச் செய்ததையும், நான் உங்களைக் கழுகுகளுடைய செட்டைகளின்மேல் சுமந்து, உங்களை என்னண்டையிலே சேர்த்துக்கொண்டதையும், நீங்கள் கண்டிருக்கிறீர்கள். Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.

5 இப்பொழுது நீங்கள் என் வாக்கை உள்ளபடி கேட்டு, என் உடன்படிக்கையைக் கைக்கொள்வீர்களானால், சகல ஜனங்களிலும் நீங்களே எனக்குச் சொந்த சம்பத்தாயிருப்பீர்கள்; பூமியெல்லாம் என்னுடையது. Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

6 நீங்கள் எனக்கு ஆசாரிய ராஜ்யமும் பரிசுத்த ஜாதியுமாய் இருப்பீர்கள் என்று நீ இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோடே சொல்ல வேண்டிய வார்த்தைகள் என்றார். And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

7 மோசே வந்து ஜனங்களின் மூப்பரை அழைப்பித்து, கர்த்தர் தனக்குக் கற்பித்த வார்த்தைகளையெல்லாம் அவர்களுக்கு முன்பாகச் சொன்னான். And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which the LORD commanded him.

8 அதற்கு ஜனங்கள் எல்லாரும் ஏகமாய், கர்த்தர் சொன்னவைகளையெல்லாம் செய்வோம் என்று பிரதியுத்தரம் சொன்னார்கள். ஜனங்கள் சொன்ன வார்த்தைகளை மோசே கர்த்தரிடத்தில் தெரிவித்தான். And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the LORD.

9 அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: நான் உன்னோடே பேசும்போது ஜனங்கள் கேட்டு, உன்னை என்றைக்கும் விசுவாசிக்கும்படி, நான் கார்மேகத்தில் உன்னிடத்திற்கு வருவேன் என்றார். ஜனங்கள் சொன்ன வார்த்தைகளை மோசே கர்த்தருக்குச் சொன்னான். And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the LORD.

10 பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: நீ ஜனங்களிடத்தில் போய், இன்றைக்கும் நாளைக்கும் அவர்களைப் பரிசுத்தப்படுத்து; அவர்கள் தங்கள் வஸ்திரங்களைத் தோய்த்து, And the LORD said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes,

11 மூன்றாம் நாளைக்கு ஆயத்தப்பட்டிருக்கக்கடவர்கள்; மூன்றாம் நாளில் கர்த்தர் சகல ஜனங்களுக்கும் பிரத்தியட்சமாகச் சீனாய்மலையின்மேல் இறங்குவார். And be ready against the third day: for the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.

12 ஜனங்களுக்குச் சுற்றிலும் நீ ஒரு எல்லை குறித்து, அவர்கள் மலையில் ஏறாதபடிக்கும், அதின் அடிவாரத்தைத் தொடாதபடிக்கும் எச்சரிக்கையாய் இருங்கள் என்று அவர்களுக்குச் சொல்; மலையைத் தொடுகிறவன் எவனும் நிச்சயமாகவே கொல்லப்படுவான். And thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, that ye go not up into the mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death:

13 ஒரு கையும் அதைத் தொடலாகாது; தொட்டால், நிச்சயமாகக் கல்லெறியுண்டு, அல்லது ஊடுருவ எய்யுண்டு சாகவேண்டும்; மிருகமானாலும்சரி, மனிதனானாலும்சரி, உயிரோடே வைக்கப்படலாகாது; எக்காளம் நெடுந்தொனியாய்த் தொனிக்கையில், அவர்கள் மலையின் அடிவாரத்தில் வரக்கடவர்கள் என்றார். There shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live: when the trumpet soundeth long, they shall come up to the mount.

14 மோசே மலையிலிருந்து இறங்கி, ஜனங்களிடத்தில் வந்து, அவர்களைப் பரிசுத்தப்படுத்தினான்; அவர்கள் தங்கள் வஸ்திரங்களைத் தோய்த்தார்கள். And Moses went down from the mount unto the people, and sanctified the people; and they washed their clothes.

15 அவன் ஜனங்களை நோக்கி: மூன்றாம் நாளுக்கு ஆயத்தப்பட்டிருங்கள், மனைவியினிடத்தில் சேராதிருங்கள் என்றான். And he said unto the people, Be ready against the third day: come not at your wives.

16 மூன்றாம் நாள் விடியற்காலத்தில் இடிமுழக்கங்களும் மின்னல்களும், மலையின்மேல் கார்மேகமும் மகா பலத்த எக்காளசத்தமும் உண்டாயிற்று; பாளயத்திலிருந்த ஜனங்கள் எல்லாரும் நடுங்கினார்கள். And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.

17 அப்பொழுது ஜனங்கள் தேவனுக்கு எதிர்கொண்டுபோக, மோசே அவர்களைப் பாளயத்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணினான்; அவர்கள் மலையின் அடிவாரத்தில் நின்றார்கள். And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount.

18 கர்த்தர் சீனாய்மலையின்மேல் அக்கினியில் இறங்கினபடியால், அது முழுவதும் புகைக்காடாய் இருந்தது; அந்தப் புகை சூளையின் புகையைப்போல எழும்பிற்று; மலை முழுவதும் மிகவும் அதிர்ந்தது. And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.

19 எக்காளசத்தம் வரவர மிகவும் பலமாய்த் தொனித்தது; மோசே பேசினான்; தேவன் அவனுக்கு வாக்கினால் மறுமொழி கொடுத்தார். And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.

20 கர்த்தர் சீனாய்மலையிலுள்ள கொடுமுடியில் இறங்கினபோது, கர்த்தர் மோசேயை மலையின் கொடுமுடியிலே வரவழைத்தார்; மோசே ஏறிப்போனான். And the LORD came down upon mount Sinai, on the top of the mount: and the LORD called Moses up to the top of the mount; and Moses went up.

21 அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: ஜனங்கள் பார்க்கிறதற்கு எல்லையைக் கடந்து கர்த்தரிடத்தில் வராதபடிக்கும், அவர்களில் அநேகர் அழிந்து போகாதபடிக்கும், நீ இறங்கிப்போய், அவர்களை உறுதியாக எச்சரி. And the LORD said unto Moses, Go down, charge the people, lest they break through unto the LORD to gaze, and many of them perish.

22 கர்த்தரின் சமுகத்தில் வருகிற ஆசாரியர்களும், கர்த்தர் தங்களுக்குள்ளே சங்காரம் பண்ணாதபடி, தங்களைப் பரிசுத்தப்படுத்திக்கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்றார். And let the priests also, which come near to the LORD, sanctify themselves, lest the LORD break forth upon them.

23 அப்பொழுது மோசே கர்த்தரை நோக்கி: மலையைச் சுற்றிலும் எல்லை குறித்து, அதைப் பரிசுத்தப்படுத்துங்கள் என்று தேவரீர் எங்களை உறுதியாக எச்சரித்திருக்கிறீர்; ஆகையால், ஜனங்கள் சீனாய்மலையின்மேல் ஏறிவரமாட்டார்கள் என்றான். And Moses said unto the LORD, The people cannot come up to mount Sinai: for thou chargedst us, saying, Set bounds about the mount, and sanctify it.

24 கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: நீ இறங்கிப்போ; பின்பு நீயும் ஆரோனும் கூடி ஏறிவாருங்கள்; ஆசாரியர்களும் ஜனங்களும், கர்த்தர் தங்களுக்குள்ளே சங்காரம்பண்ணாதபடிக்கு, எல்லையைக் கடந்து கர்த்தரிடத்தில் வராதிருக்கக்கடவர்கள் என்றார். And the LORD said unto him, Away, get thee down, and thou shalt come up, thou, and Aaron with thee: but let not the priests and the people break through to come up unto the LORD, lest he break forth upon them.

25 அப்படியே மோசே இறங்கி ஜனங்களிடத்தில் போய், அதை அவர்களுக்குச் சொன்னான். So Moses went down unto the people, and spake unto them.

1 Israel puththirar ekipthu thaesaththilirunthu purappatta moontam maatham muthalaam naalilae, seenaay vanaantharaththil sernthaarkal. In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai.

2 Avarkal revitheemilirunthu pirayaanam purappattu, seenaay vanaantharaththil sernthu, antha vanaantharaththil paalayamiranginaarkal; isravaelar angae malaikku ethiraakap paalayamiranginaarkal. For they were departed from Rephidim, and were come to the desert of Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Israel camped before the mount.

3 Moses thaevanidaththirku aeripponaan; Karththar malaiyilirunthu avanaik kooppittu: nee yaakkopu vamsaththaarukkuch sollavum, Israel puththirarukku arivikkavum vaenntiyathu ennavental, And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel;

4 Naan ekipthiyarukkuch seythathaiyum, naan ungalaik kalukukalutaiya settaைkalinmael sumanthu, ungalai ennanntaiyilae serththukkonndathaiyum, neengal kanntirukkireerkal. Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.

5 Ippoluthu neengal en vaakkai ullapati kaettu, en udanpatikkaiyaik kaikkolveerkalaanaal, sakala janangalilum neengalae enakkuch sontha sampaththaayiruppeerkal; poomiyellaam ennutaiyathu. Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

6 Neengal enakku aasaariya raajyamum Parisuththa jaathiyumaay iruppeerkal entu nee Israel puththirarotae solla vaenntiya vaarththaikal entar. And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

7 Moses vanthu janangalin moopparai alaippiththu, Karththar thanakkuk karpiththa vaarththaikalaiyellaam avarkalukku munpaakach sonnaan. And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which the LORD commanded him.

8 Atharku janangal ellaarum aekamaay, Karththar sonnavaikalaiyellaam seyvom entu pirathiyuththaram sonnaarkal. Janangal sonna vaarththaikalai Moses karththaridaththil theriviththaan. And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the LORD.

9 Appoluthu Karththar Mosesyai Nnokki: naan unnotae paesumpothu janangal kaettu, unnai entaikkum visuvaasikkumpati, naan kaarmaekaththil unnidaththirku varuvaen entar. Janangal sonna vaarththaikalai Moses karththarukkuch sonnaan. And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the LORD.

10 Pinnum Karththar Mosesyai Nnokki: nee janangalidaththil poy, intaikkum naalaikkum avarkalaip Parisuththappaduththu; avarkal thangal vasthirangalaith thoyththu, And the LORD said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes,

11 Moontam naalaikku aayaththappattirukkakkadavarkal; moontam naalil Karththar sakala janangalukkum piraththiyatchamaakach seenaaymalaiyinmael iranguvaar. And be ready against the third day: for the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.

12 Janangalukkuch suttilum nee oru ellai kuriththu, avarkal malaiyil aeraathapatikkum, athin ativaaraththaith thodaathapatikkum echcharikkaiyaay irungal entu avarkalukkuch sol; malaiyaith thodukiravan evanum nichchayamaakavae kollappaduvaan. And thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, that ye go not up into the mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death:

13 Oru kaiyum athaith thodalaakaathu; thottal, nichchayamaakak kalleriyunndu, allathu ooduruva eyyunndu saakavaenndum; mirukamaanaalumsari, manithanaanaalumsari, uyirotae vaikkappadalaakaathu; ekkaalam nedunthoniyaayth thonikkaiyil, avarkal malaiyin ativaaraththil varakkadavarkal entar. There shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live: when the trumpet soundeth long, they shall come up to the mount.

14 Moses malaiyilirunthu irangi, janangalidaththil vanthu, avarkalaip Parisuththappaduththinaan; avarkal thangal vasthirangalaith thoyththaarkal. And Moses went down from the mount unto the people, and sanctified the people; and they washed their clothes.

15 Avan janangalai Nnokki: moontam naalukku aayaththappattirungal, manaiviyinidaththil seraathirungal entan. And he said unto the people, Be ready against the third day: come not at your wives.

16 Moontam naal vitiyarkaalaththil itimulakkangalum minnalkalum, malaiyinmael kaarmaekamum makaa palaththa ekkaalasaththamum unndaayittaு; paalayaththiliruntha janangal ellaarum nadunginaarkal. And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.

17 Appoluthu janangal thaevanukku ethirkonndupoka, Moses avarkalaip paalayaththilirunthu purappadappannnninaan; avarkal malaiyin ativaaraththil nintarkal. And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount.

18 Karththar seenaaymalaiyinmael akkiniyil iranginapatiyaal, athu muluvathum pukaikkaadaay irunthathu; anthap pukai soolaiyin pukaiyaippola elumpittaு; malai muluvathum mikavum athirnthathu. And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.

19 Ekkaalasaththam varavara mikavum palamaayth thoniththathu; Moses paesinaan; Dhevan avanukku vaakkinaal maraுmoli koduththaar. And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.

20 Karththar seenaaymalaiyilulla kodumutiyil iranginapothu, Karththar Mosesyai malaiyin kodumutiyilae varavalaiththaar; Moses aeripponaan. And the LORD came down upon mount Sinai, on the top of the mount: and the LORD called Moses up to the top of the mount; and Moses went up.

21 Appoluthu Karththar Mosesyai Nnokki: janangal paarkkiratharku ellaiyaik kadanthu karththaridaththil varaathapatikkum, avarkalil anaekar alinthu pokaathapatikkum, nee irangippoy, avarkalai uraுthiyaaka echchari. And the LORD said unto Moses, Go down, charge the people, lest they break through unto the LORD to gaze, and many of them perish.

22 Karththarin samukaththil varukira aasaariyarkalum, Karththar thangalukkullae sangaaram pannnnaathapati, thangalaip Parisuththappaduththikkolla vaenndum entar. And let the priests also, which come near to the LORD, sanctify themselves, lest the LORD break forth upon them.

23 Appoluthu Moses karththarai Nnokki: malaiyaich suttilum ellai kuriththu, athaip Parisuththappaduththungal entu thaevareer engalai uraுthiyaaka echchariththirukkireer; aakaiyaal, janangal seenaaymalaiyinmael aerivaramaattarkal entan. And Moses said unto the LORD, The people cannot come up to mount Sinai: for thou chargedst us, saying, Set bounds about the mount, and sanctify it.

24 Karththar Mosesyai Nnokki: nee irangippo; pinpu neeyum aaronum kooti aerivaarungal; aasaariyarkalum janangalum, Karththar thangalukkullae sangaarampannnnaathapatikku, ellaiyaik kadanthu karththaridaththil varaathirukkakkadavarkal entar. And the LORD said unto him, Away, get thee down, and thou shalt come up, thou, and Aaron with thee: but let not the priests and the people break through to come up unto the LORD, lest he break forth upon them.

25 Appatiyae Moses irangi janangalidaththil poy, athai avarkalukkuch sonnaan. So Moses went down unto the people, and spake unto them.
