ஆகையால் என் தாசனாகிய யாக்கோபே, நீ பயப்படாதே; இஸ்ரவேலே , கலங்காதே என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; இதோ, நான் உன்னைத் தூரத்திலும், உன் சந்ததியைத் தங்கள் சிறையிருப்பின் தேசத்திலும் இராதபடிக்கு இரட்சிப்பேன்; யாக்கோபு திரும்பி வந்து அமர்ந்து சுகித்திருப்பான்; அவனைத் தத்தளிக்கப்பண்ணுகிறவனில்லை.

“எனவே, எனது தாசனாகிய யாக்கோபுவே, பயப்படவேண்டாம்!” இந்த வார்த்தை கர்த்தரிடமிருந்து வருகிறது. “இஸ்ரவேலே, பயப்படவேண்டாம். நான் உன்னை தொலைதூர இடத்திலிருந்து காப்பாற்றுவேன். நீங்கள் தொலைதூர நாடுகளில் கைதிகளாக இருந்தீர்கள். ஆனால் உங்கள் சந்ததிகளை நான் காப்பாற்றுவேன். நான் அவர்களை சிறையிருப்பிலிருந்து மீண்டும் அழைத்து வருவேன். யாக்கோபுக்கு மீண்டும் சமாதானம் உண்டாகும். ஒரு எதிரியும் அவனை இனி தொந்தரவு செய்யவோ பயப்படுத்தவோமாட்டான். ஆதலால் அவன் பத்திரமாகவும் பாதுகாப்பாகவும் இருப்பான்.
