1 பின்பு அவர் தம்முடைய சீஷர்களை நோக்கி: இடறல்கள் வராமல்போவது கூடாதகாரியம், ஆகிலும் அவைகள் எவனால் வருகிறதோ, அவனுக்கு ஐயோ! Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!

It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

3 உங்களைக்குறித்து எச்சரிக்கையாயிருங்கள். உன் சகோதரன் உனக்கு விரோதமாய்க் குற்றஞ்செய்தால், அவனைக் கடிந்துகொள்; அவன் மனஸ்தாப்பட்டால், அவனுக்கு மன்னிப்பாயாக. Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.

4 அவன் ஒருநாளில் ஏழுதரம் உனக்கு விரோதமாய்க் குற்றஞ்செய்து, ஏழுதரமும் உன்னிடத்தில் வந்து: நான் மனஸ்தாபப்படுகிறேன் என்று சொன்னால், அவனுக்கு மன்னிப்பாயாக என்றார். And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.

5 அப்பொழுது அப்போஸ்தலர் கர்த்தரை நோக்கி: எங்கள் விசுவாசத்தை வர்த்திக்கப்பண்ணவேண்டும் என்றார்கள். And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.

6 அதற்குக் கர்த்தர்: கடுகுவிதையளவு விசுவாசம் உங்களுக்கு உண்டாயிருந்தால், நீங்கள் இந்தக் காட்டத்திமரத்தை நோக்கி: நீ வேரோடே பிடுங்குண்டு கடலிலே நடப்படுவாயாக என்று சொல்ல, அது உங்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியும். And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

7 உங்களில் ஒருவனுடைய ஊழியக்காரன் உழுது அல்லது மந்தை மேய்த்து வயலிலிருந்து வரும்போது, எஜமான் அவனை நோக்கி: நீ முன்பு போய்ச் சாப்பிட்டுவா என்று அவனுக்குச் சொல்வானோ? But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat?

8 நீ எனக்குச் சாப்பாடு ஆயத்தம்பண்ணி, அரைகட்டிக்கொண்டு, நான் போஜனபானம்பண்ணுமளவும் எனக்கு ஊழியஞ்செய், அதற்குப்பின் நீ புசித்துக்குடிக்கலாம் என்று அவனுக்குச் சொல்லுவானல்லவா. And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?

9 தான் கட்டளையிட்டவைகளை அந்த வேலைக்காரன் செய்ததற்காக அவனுக்கு உபசாரஞ்செய்வானோ? அப்படிச் செய்யமாட்டானே. Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.

10 அப்படியே நீங்களும் உங்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிடப்பட்ட யாவற்றையும் செய்தபின்பு: நாங்கள் அப்பிரயோஜனமான ஊழியக்காரர், செய்யவேண்டிய கடமையைமாத்திரம் செய்தோம் என்று சொல்லுங்கள் என்றார். So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

11 பின்பு அவர் எருசலேமுக்குப் பிரயாம்பண்ணுகையில், அவர் சமாரியா கலிலேயா என்னும் நாடுகளின் வழியாக நடந்து போனார். And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.

12 அவர் ஒரு கிராமத்தில் பிரவேசித்தபோது, குஷ்டரோகமுள்ள மனுஷர் பத்துப்பேர் அவருக்கு எதிராக வந்து, தூரத்திலே நின்று: And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:

13 இயேசு ஐயரே, எங்களுக்கு இரங்கும் என்று சத்தமிட்டார்கள். And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.

14 அவர்களை அவர் பார்த்து: நீங்கள்போய், ஆசாரியர்களுக்கு உங்களைக் காண்பியுங்கள் என்றார். அந்தப்படி அவர்கள் போகையில் சுத்தமானார்கள். And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.

15 அவர்களில் ஒருவன் தான் ஆரோக்கியமானதைக் கண்டு, திரும்பிவந்து, உரத்த சத்தத்தோடே தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்தி, And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,

16 அவருடைய பாதத்தருகே முகங்குப்புற விழுந்து, அவருக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரஞ்செலுத்தினான்; அவன் சமாரியனாயிருந்தான். And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.

17 அப்பொழுது இயேசு: சுத்தமானவர்கள் பத்துப்பேர் அல்லவா, மற்ற ஒன்பதுபேர் எங்கே? And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?

18 தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்துகிறதற்கு, இந்த அந்நியனே ஒழிய மற்றொருவனும் திரும்பிவரக்காணோமே என்று சொல்லி There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.

19 அவனை நோக்கி: நீ எழுந்துபோ, உன் விசுவாசம் உன்னை இரட்சித்தது என்றார். And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.

20 தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யம் எப்பொழுது வருமென்று, பரிசேயர் அவரிடத்தில் கேட்டபொழுது, அவர்களுக்கு அவர் பிரதியுத்தரமாக. தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யம் பிரத்தியட்சமாய் வராது. And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

21 இதோ, இங்கே என்றும், அதோ, அங்கே என்றும் சொல்லப்படுகிறதற்கும் ஏதுவிராது; இதோ, தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யம் உங்களுக்குள் இருக்கிறதே என்றார். Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

22 பின்பு அவர் சீஷர்களை நோக்கி: மனுஷகுமாரனுடைய நாட்களிலொன்றைக் காணவேண்டுமென்று நீங்கள் ஆசைப்படுங்காலம் வரும்; ஆனாலும் அதைக் காணமாட்டீர்கள். And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.

23 இதோ, இங்கே என்றும், அதோ, அங்கே என்றும், சிலர் உங்களிடத்தில் சொல்லுவார்கள், நீங்களோ போகாமலும் பின்தொடராமலும் இருங்கள். And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.

24 மின்னல் வானத்தின் ஒரு திசையில்தோன்றி மறுதிசைவரைக்கும் பிரகாசிக்கிறது போல மனுஷகுமாரனும் தம்முடைய நாளிலே தோன்றுவார். For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.

25 அதற்கு முன்பு அவர் அநேகம் பாடுபட்டு, இந்தச் சந்ததியினால் ஆகாதவனென்று தள்ளப்படவேண்டியதாயிருக்கிறது. But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.

26 நோவாவின் நாட்களில் நடந்ததுபோல மனுஷகுமாரனுடைய நாட்களிலும் நடக்கும். And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

27 நோவா பேழைக்குள் பிரவேசித்த நாள்வரைக்கும் ஜனங்கள் புசித்துக் குடித்தார்கள், பெண்கொண்டு கொடுத்தார்கள்; ஜலப்பிரளயம் வந்து எல்லாரையும் அழித்துப்போட்டது. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

28 லோத்தினுடைய நாட்களில் நடந்ததுபோலவும் நடக்கும்; ஜனங்கள் புசித்தார்கள், குடித்தார்கள், கொண்டார்கள், விற்றார்கள், நட்டார்கள், கட்டினார்கள். Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

29 லோத்து சோதோமை விட்டுப் புறப்பட்ட நாளிலே வானத்திலிருந்து அக்கினியும் கந்தகமும் வருஷித்து, எல்லாரையும் அழித்துப்போட்டது. But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

30 மனுஷகுமாரன் வெளிப்படும் நாளிலும் அப்படியே நடக்கும். Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

31 அந்த நாளிலே வீட்டின் மேலிருப்பவன் வீட்டிலுள்ள தன் பண்டங்களை எடுத்துக்கொண்டுபோக இறங்காமல் இருக்கக்கடவன்; அப்படியே வயலிலிருக்கிறவன் பின்னிட்டுத் திரும்பாமலும் இருக்கக்கடவன். In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.

32 லோத்தின் மனைவியை நினைத்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள். Remember Lot's wife.

33 தன் ஜீவனை இரட்சிக்க வகைதேடுகிறவன் அதை இழந்துபோவான்; இழந்துபோகிறவன் அதை உயிர்ப்பித்துக்கொள்ளுவான். Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.

34 அந்த இராத்திரியில் ஒரே படுக்கையில் படுத்திருக்கிற இரண்டுபேரில் ஒருவன் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்படுவான், மற்றவன் கைவிடப்படுவான். I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.

35 திரிகை திரிக்கிற இரண்டு ஸ்திரீகளில் ஒருத்தி ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்படுவாள், மற்றவள் கைவிடப்படுவாள். Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

36 வயலிலிருக்கிற இரண்டுபேரில் ஒருவன் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்படுவான், மற்றவன் கைவிடப்படுவான் என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன் என்றார். Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

37 அவர்கள் அவருக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: எங்கே, ஆண்டவரே, என்றார்கள். அதற்கு அவர்: பிணம் எங்கேயோ அங்கே கழுகுகள் வந்து கூடும் என்றார். And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.

1 Pinpu avar thammutaiya seesharkalai Nnokki: idaralkal varaamalpovathu koodaathakaariyam, aakilum avaikal evanaal varukiratho, avanukku aiyo! Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!

2 Avan inthach siraுvaril oruvanukku idaralunndaakkukirathaip paarkkilum, avanutaiya kaluththil aenthirakkal kattappattu, avan samuththiraththil thallunndupovathu avanukku nalamaayirukkum. It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

3 Ungalaikkuriththu echcharikkaiyaayirungal. Un sakotharan unakku virothamaayk kuttanjaெythaal, avanaik katinthukol; avan manasthaappattal, avanukku mannippaayaaka. Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.

4 Avan orunaalil aelutharam unakku virothamaayk kuttanjaெythu, aelutharamum unnidaththil vanthu: naan manasthaapappadukiraேn entu sonnaal, avanukku mannippaayaaka entar. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.

5 Appoluthu apposthalar karththarai Nnokki: engal visuvaasaththai varththikkappannnavaenndum entarkal. And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.

6 Atharkuk Karththar: kadukuvithaiyalavu visuvaasam ungalukku unndaayirunthaal, neengal inthak kaattaththimaraththai Nnokki: nee vaerotae pidungunndu kadalilae nadappaduvaayaaka entu solla, athu ungalukkuk geelppatiyum. And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

7 Ungalil oruvanutaiya ooliyakkaaran uluthu allathu manthai maeyththu vayalilirunthu varumpothu, ejamaan avanai Nnokki: nee munpu poych saappittuvaa entu avanukkuch solvaano? But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat?

8 Nee enakkuch saappaadu aayaththampannnni, araikattikkonndu, naan pojanapaanampannnumalavum enakku ooliyanjaெy, atharkuppin nee pusiththukkutikkalaam entu avanukkuch solluvaanallavaa. And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?

9 Thaan kattalaiyittavaikalai antha vaelaikkaaran seythatharkaaka avanukku upasaaranjaெyvaano? Appatich seyyamaattanae. Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.

10 Appatiyae neengalum ungalukkuk kattalaiyidappatta yaavattaைyum seythapinpu: naangal appirayojanamaana ooliyakkaarar, seyyavaenntiya kadamaiyaimaaththiram seythom entu sollungal entar. So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

11 Pinpu avar erusalaemukkup pirayaampannnukaiyil, avar samaariyaa kalilaeyaa ennum naadukalin valiyaaka nadanthu ponaar. And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.

12 Avar oru kiraamaththil piravaesiththapothu, kushdarokamulla manushar paththuppaer avarukku ethiraaka vanthu, thooraththilae nintu: And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:

13 Yesu aiyarae, engalukku irangum entu saththamittarkal. And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.

14 Avarkalai avar paarththu: neengalpoy, aasaariyarkalukku ungalaik kaannpiyungal entar. Anthappati avarkal pokaiyil suththamaanaarkal. And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.

15 Avarkalil oruvan thaan aarokkiyamaanathaik kanndu, thirumpivanthu, uraththa saththaththotae thaevanai makimaippaduththi, And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,

16 Avarutaiya paathaththarukae mukanguppura vilunthu, avarukku sthoththiranjaெluththinaan; avan samaariyanaayirunthaan. And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.

17 Appoluthu Yesu: suththamaanavarkal paththuppaer allavaa, matta onpathupaer engae? And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?

18 Thaevanai makimaippaduththukiratharku, intha anniyanae oliya mattaொruvanum thirumpivarakkaannomae entu solli There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.

19 Avanai Nnokki: nee elunthupo, un visuvaasam unnai iratchiththathu entar. And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.

20 Thaevanutaiya raajyam eppoluthu varumentu, pariseyar avaridaththil kaettapoluthu, avarkalukku avar pirathiyuththaramaaka. Thaevanutaiya raajyam piraththiyatchamaay varaathu. And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

21 Itho, ingae entum, atho, angae entum sollappadukiratharkum aethuviraathu; itho, thaevanutaiya raajyam ungalukkul irukkirathae entar. Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

22 Pinpu avar seesharkalai Nnokki: manushakumaaranutaiya naatkalilontaik kaanavaenndumentu neengal aasaippadungaalam varum; aanaalum athaik kaanamaattirkal. And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.

23 Itho, ingae entum, atho, angae entum, silar ungalidaththil solluvaarkal, neengalo pokaamalum pinthodaraamalum irungal. And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.

24 Minnal vaanaththin oru thisaiyilthonti maraுthisaivaraikkum pirakaasikkirathu pola manushakumaaranum thammutaiya naalilae thontuvaar. For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.

25 Atharku munpu avar anaekam paadupattu, inthach santhathiyinaal aakaathavanentu thallappadavaenntiyathaayirukkirathu. But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.

26 Nnovaavin naatkalil nadanthathupola manushakumaaranutaiya naatkalilum nadakkum. And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

27 Nnovaa paelaikkul piravaesiththa naalvaraikkum janangal pusiththuk kutiththaarkal, pennkonndu koduththaarkal; jalappiralayam vanthu ellaaraiyum aliththuppottathu. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

28 Loththinutaiya naatkalil nadanthathupolavum nadakkum; janangal pusiththaarkal, kutiththaarkal, konndaarkal, vittaாrkal, nattarkal, kattinaarkal. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

29 Loththu sothomai vittup purappatta naalilae vaanaththilirunthu akkiniyum kanthakamum varushiththu, ellaaraiyum aliththuppottathu. But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

30 Manushakumaaran velippadum naalilum appatiyae nadakkum. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

31 Antha naalilae veettin maeliruppavan veettilulla than panndangalai eduththukkonndupoka irangaamal irukkakkadavan; appatiyae vayalilirukkiravan pinnittuth thirumpaamalum irukkakkadavan. In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.

32 Loththin manaiviyai ninaiththukkollungal. Remember Lot's wife.

33 Than jeevanai iratchikka vakaithaedukiravan athai ilanthupovaan; ilanthupokiravan athai uyirppiththukkolluvaan. Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.

34 Antha iraaththiriyil orae padukkaiyil paduththirukkira iranndupaeril oruvan aettaுkkollappaduvaan, mattavan kaividappaduvaan. I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.

35 Thirikai thirikkira iranndu sthireekalil oruththi aettaுkkollappaduvaal, mattaval kaividappaduvaal. Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

36 Vayalilirukkira iranndupaeril oruvan aettaுkkollappaduvaan, mattavan kaividappaduvaan entu ungalukkuch sollukiraேn entar. Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

37 Avarkal avarukkup pirathiyuththaramaaka: engae, aanndavarae, entarkal. Atharku avar: pinam engaeyo angae kalukukal vanthu koodum entar. And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.
