கிழக்கு வெளுத்துவரும் ஜாமத்தில் கர்த்தர் அக்கினியும் மேகமுமான ஸ்தம்பத்திலிருந்து எகிப்தியரின் சேனையைப் பார்த்து, அவர்கள் சேனையைக் கலங்கடித்து,
