ইস্রায়েলের লোকদের মধ্যে কনানের জমি ভাগ করে দেওয়ার জন্য প্রভু ঐ সমস্ত লোকদের মনোনীত করেছিলেন|

These	אֵ֕לֶּה	ʾēlle	A-leh
are they whom	אֲשֶׁ֖ר	ʾăšer	uh-SHER
Lord the	צִוָּ֣ה	ṣiwwâ	tsee-WA
commanded	יְהוָ֑ה	yĕhwâ	yeh-VA
to divide the inheritance	לְנַחֵ֥ל	lĕnaḥēl	leh-na-HALE
	אֶת	ʾet	et
unto the children	בְּנֵֽי	bĕnê	beh-NAY
of Israel	יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל	yiśrāʾēl	yees-ra-ALE
land the in	בְּאֶ֥רֶץ	bĕʾereṣ	beh-EH-rets
of Canaan.	כְּנָֽעַן׃	kĕnāʿan	keh-NA-an
