এই কথা শুনে অন্য দশ জন য়োহন ও যাকোবের প্রতি অত্যন্ত ক্রুদ্ধ হলেন৷

பின்பு தெலீலாள் சிம்சோனை நோக்கி, “நீங்கள் என்னிடம் மீண்டும் பொய் சொல்லிவிட்டீர்கள்! என்னை முட்டாள் ஆக்கிவிட்டீர்கள். இப்போது உங்களை ஒருவன் எவ்வாறு கட்டக்கூடும் என்பதைக் கூறுங்கள்” என்றாள். சிம்சோன், “நீ என் தலைமயிரின் 7 ஜடைகளையும் நெசவு தறியால் நெய்து அதனைப் பின்னலிட்டு இறுகக் கட்டினால் நானும் பிற மனிதரைப்போல் பெலமற்றவனாவேன்” என்றான்.
