அநேகநாளாய்ச் சூரியனாவது நட்சத்திரங்களாவது காணப்படாமல், மிகுந்த பெருங்காற்றுமழையும் அடித்துக்கொண்டிருந்தபடியினால், இனி தப்பிப்பிழைப்போமென்னும் நம்பிக்கை முழுமையும் அற்றுப்போயிற்று.
