வாரத்தின் முதலாம்நாள் அதிகாலையிலே தாங்கள் ஆயத்தம்பண்ணின அந்த கந்தவர்க்கங்களை அவர்கள் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு வேறு சில ஸ்திரீகளோடுங்கூடக் கல்லறையினிடத்தில் வந்தார்கள்.

அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் திரும்பி, பேதுருவை நோக்கிப்பார்த்தார். சேவல் கூவுகிறதற்கு முன்னே நீ என்னை மூன்றுமுறை மறுதலிப்பாய் என்று கர்த்தர் தன்னிடத்தில் சொன்ன வார்த்தையை உடனே பேதுரு நினைத்து,
