1 கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தைக்குறித்துச் சாலொமோனுக்கு உண்டாயிருந்த கீர்த்தி சேபாவின் ராஜஸ்திரீக்குக் கேள்வியானபோது, அவள் விடுகதைகளினால் அவனைச் சோதிக்கிறதற்காக, And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the LORD, she came to prove him with hard questions.

2 மிகுந்த பரிவாரத்தோடும், கந்தவர்க்கங்களையும், மிகுதியான பொன்னையும் இரத்தினங்களையும் சுமக்கிற ஒட்டகங்களோடும், எருசலேமுக்கு வந்தாள்; அவள் சாலொமோனிடத்தில் வந்தபோது, தன் மனதில் இருந்த எல்லாவற்றையுங்குறித்து அவனிடத்தில் சம்பாஷித்தாள். And she came to Jerusalem with a very great train, with camels that bare spices, and very much gold, and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart.

3 அப்பொழுது சாலொமோன் அவள் கேட்டவைகளையெல்லாம் விடுவித்தான், அவளுக்கு விடுவிக்கக் கூடாதபடிக்கு, ஒன்றாகிலும் ராஜாவுக்கு மறைபொருளாயிருக்கவில்லை. And Solomon told her all her questions: there was not any thing hid from the king, which he told her not.

4 சேபாவின் ராஜஸ்திரீ சாலொமோனுடைய சகல ஞானத்தையும், அவன் கட்டின அரமனையையும், And when the queen of Sheba had seen all Solomon's wisdom, and the house that he had built,

Howbeit I believed not the words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the half was not told me: thy wisdom and prosperity exceedeth the fame which I heard.

8 உம்முடைய ஜனங்கள் பாக்கியவான்கள்; எப்போதும் உமக்கு முன்பாக நின்று, உம்முடைய ஞானத்தைக் கேட்கிற உம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரரும் பாக்கியவான்கள். Happy are thy men, happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and that hear thy wisdom.

9 உம்மை இஸ்ரவேலின் சிங்காசனத்தின்மேல் வைக்க, உம்மேல் பிரியங்கொண்ட உம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் ஸ்தோத்திரிக்கப்படுவாராக: கர்த்தர் இஸ்ரவேலை என்றைக்கும் சிநேகிக்கிறபடியினால், Ψியாயமும் நீதியும் செய்கிறதற்கு உம்மை ராஜாவாக ஏற்படுத்தினார் என்றாள். Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee, to set thee on the throne of Israel: because the LORD loved Israel for ever, therefore made he thee king, to do judgment and justice.

And she gave the king an hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices very great store, and precious stones: there came no more such abundance of spices as these which the queen of Sheba gave to king Solomon.

12 அந்த வாசனைமரங்களால் ராஜா கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திற்கும் ராஜ அரமனைக்கும் ஊன்றுகால்களையும், சங்கீதக்காரருக்குச் சுரமண்டலங்களையும், தம்புருகளையும் உண்டாக்கினான்; அப்படிப்பட்ட வாசனைமரங்கள் பிற்பாடு வந்ததுமில்லை, இந்நாள்வரைக்கும் காணப்படவுமில்லை. And the king made of the almug trees pillars for the house of the LORD, and for the king's house, harps also and psalteries for singers: there came no such almug trees, nor were seen unto this day.

13 ராஜாவாகிய சாலொமோன் தானே சந்தோஷமாய்ச் சேபாவின் ராஜஸ்திரீக்கு வெகுமதிகள் கொடுத்ததும் அல்லாமல், அவள் விருப்பப்பட்டுக் கேட்டது எல்லாவற்றையும் அவளுக்குக் கொடுத்தான்; பின்பு அவள் தன் பரிவாரத்தோடே தன் தேசத்திற்குத் திரும்பிப் போனாள். And king Solomon gave unto the queen of Sheba all her desire, whatsoever she asked, beside that which Solomon gave her of his royal bounty. So she turned and went to her own country, she and her servants.

14 சாலொமோனுக்கு வியாபாரிகளாலும், சுகந்த திரவிய வர்த்தகராலும், அரபிதேசத்து சகல ராஜாக்களாலும், மாகாணங்களின் அதிபதிகளாலும் வந்த பொன்னையல்லாமல், Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred threescore and six talents of gold,

15 ஒவ்வொரு வருஷத்தில் அவனுக்கு வந்த பொன் அறுநூற்று அறுபத்தாறு தாலந்து நிறையாயிருந்தது. Beside that he had of the merchantmen, and of the traffic of the spice merchants, and of all the kings of Arabia, and of the governors of the country.

16 சாலொமோன் ராஜா, அடித்த பொன் தகட்டால் இருநூறு பரிசைகளைச் செய்வித்தான்; ஒவ்வொரு பரிசைக்கு அறுநூறு சேக்கல் நிறைபொன் சென்றது. And king Solomon made two hundred targets of beaten gold: six hundred shekels of gold went to one target.

17 அடித்த பொன் தகட்டால் முந்நூறு கேடகங்களையும் செய்வித்தான்; ஒவ்வொரு கேடகத்திற்கு மூன்று இராத்தல் பொன் சென்றது; அவைகளை ராஜா லீபனோன் வனம் என்னும் மாளிகையிலே வைத்தான். And he made three hundred shields of beaten gold; three pound of gold went to one shield: and the king put them in the house of the forest of Lebanon.

18 ராஜா தந்தத்தினால் பெரிய ஒரு சிங்காசனத்தையும் செய்வித்து, அதைப் பசும்பொன் தகட்டால் மூடினான். Moreover the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with the best gold.

19 அந்தச் சிங்காசனத்திற்கு ஆறு படிகள் இருந்தது; சிங்காசனத்தின் தலைப்பு பின்னாக வளைவாயிருந்தது; உட்காரும் இடத்திற்கு இருபுறமும் கைச்சாய்மானங்கள் இருந்தது; இரண்டு சிங்கங்கள் கைச் சாய்மானங்கள் அருகே நின்றது. The throne had six steps, and the top of the throne was round behind: and there were stays on either side on the place of the seat, and two lions stood beside the stays.

20 ஆறு படிகளின்மேலும், இரண்டு பக்கத்திலும், பன்னிரண்டு சிங்கங்கள் நின்றது; எந்த ராஜ்யத்திலும் இப்படிப் பண்ணப்படவில்லை. And twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the six steps: there was not the like made in any kingdom.

21 ராஜாவாகிய சாலொமோனுக்கு இருந்த பானபாத்திரங்களெல்லாம் பொன்னும், லீபனோன் வனம் என்கிற மாளிகையின் பணிமுட்டுகளெல்லாம் பசும்பொன்னுமாயிருந்தது; ஒன்றும் வெள்ளியினால் செய்யப்படவில்லை; சாலொமோனின் நாட்களில் வெள்ளி ஒரு பொருளாய் எண்ணப்படவில்லை. And all king Solomon's drinking vessels were of gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon were of pure gold; none were of silver: it was nothing accounted of in the days of Solomon.

22 ராஜாவுக்குச் சமுத்திரத்திலே ஈராமின் கப்பல்களோடேகூடத் தர்ஷீசின் கப்பல்களும் இருந்தது; தர்ஷீசின் கப்பல்கள் மூன்று வருஷத்துக்கு ஒருதரம் பொன்னையும், வெள்ளியையும், யானைத்தந்தங்களையும், குரங்குகளையும், மயில்களையும் கொண்டுவரும். For the king had at sea a navy of Tharshish with the navy of Hiram: once in three years came the navy of Tharshish, bringing gold, and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks.

23 பூமியின் சகல ராஜாக்களைப்பார்க்கிலும், ராஜாவாகிய சாலொமோன் ஐசுவரியத்திலும் ஞானத்திலும் சிறந்தவனாயிருந்தான். So king Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth for riches and for wisdom.

24 சாலொமோனின் இருதயத்திலே தேவன் அருளிய ஞானத்தைக் கேட்கிறதற்காக, சகல தேசத்தாரும் அவன் முகதரிசனத்தைத் தேடினார்கள். And all the earth sought to Solomon, to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart.

25 வருஷாவருஷம் அவரவர் தங்கள் காணிக்கையாகிய வெள்ளிப்பாத்திரங்களையும், பொற்பாத்திரங்களையும், வஸ்திரங்களையும், ஆயுதங்களையும், கந்தவர்க்கங்களையும், குதிரைகளையும், கோவேறு கழுதைகளையும் கொண்டுவருவார்கள். And they brought every man his present, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and garments, and armor, and spices, horses, and mules, a rate year by year.

26 சாலொமோன் இரதங்களையும் குதிரைவீரரையும் சேர்த்தான்; அவனுக்கு ஆயிரத்து நானூறு இரதங்கள் இருந்தது, பன்னீராயிரம் குதிரைவீரரும் இருந்தார்கள்; அவைகளை இரதங்கள் வைக்கும் பட்டணங்களிலும்,அவர்களை எருசலேமில் தன்னிடத்திலும் வைத்திருந்தான். And Solomon gathered together chariots and horsemen: and he had a thousand and four hundred chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen, whom he bestowed in the cities for chariots, and with the king at Jerusalem.

27 எருசலேமிலே ராஜா வெள்ளியைக் கற்கள்போலவும், கேதுருமரங்களைப் பள்ளத்தாக்குகளில் இருக்கும் காட்டத்திமரங்கள்போலவும் அதிகமாக்கினான். And the king made silver to be in Jerusalem as stones, and cedars made he to be as the sycamore trees that are in the vale, for abundance.

28 சாலொமோன் தனக்குக் குதிரைகளையும் புடவைகளையும் எகிப்திலிருந்து அழைப்பித்தான்; ராஜாவின் வர்த்தகர் புடவைகளை ஒப்பந்த விலைக்கிரயத்திற்கு வாங்கினார்கள். And Solomon had horses brought out of Egypt, and linen yarn: the king's merchants received the linen yarn at a price.

29 எகிப்திலிருந்து வந்த ஒவ்வொரு இரதத்தின் விலை அறுநூறு வெள்ளிக்காசும், ஒவ்வொரு குதிரையின் விலை நூற்றைம்பது வெள்ளிக் காசுமாயிருந்தது; இந்தப்பிரகாரம் ஏத்தியரின் ராஜாக்களெல்லாருக்கும், சீரியாவின் ராஜாக்களுக்கும் அவர்கள் மூலமாய்க் கொண்டு வரப்பட்டது. And a chariot came up and went out of Egypt for six hundred shekels of silver, and an horse for an hundred and fifty: and so for all the kings of the Hittites, and for the kings of Syria, did they bring them out by their means.

1 Karththarutaiya naamaththaikkuriththuch saalomonukku unndaayiruntha geerththi sepaavin raajasthireekkuk kaelviyaanapothu, aval vidukathaikalinaal avanaich sothikkiratharkaaka, And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the LORD, she came to prove him with hard questions.

2 Mikuntha parivaaraththodum, kanthavarkkangalaiyum, mikuthiyaana ponnaiyum iraththinangalaiyum sumakkira ottakangalodum, erusalaemukku vanthaal; aval saalomonidaththil vanthapothu, than manathil iruntha ellaavattaைyunguriththu avanidaththil sampaashiththaal. And she came to Jerusalem with a very great train, with camels that bare spices, and very much gold, and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart.

3 Appoluthu saalomon aval kaettavaikalaiyellaam viduviththaan, avalukku viduvikkak koodaathapatikku, ontakilum raajaavukku maraiporulaayirukkavillai. And Solomon told her all her questions: there was not any thing hid from the king, which he told her not.

4 Sepaavin raajasthiree saalomonutaiya sakala njaanaththaiyum, avan kattina aramanaiyaiyum, And when the queen of Sheba had seen all Solomon's wisdom, and the house that he had built,

5 Avan panthiyin pojanapathaarththangalaiyum, avan ooliyakkaararin veedukalaiyum, avan uththiyokastharin varisaiyaiyum, avarkal vasthirangalaiyum, avanutaiya paanapaaththirakkaararaiyum, avan karththarutaiya aalayaththukkul piravaesikkum nataimanndapaththaiyum kanndapothu aval aachchariyaththaal piramaikonndu, And the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel, and his cupbearers, and his ascent by which he went up unto the house of the LORD; there was no more spirit in her.

6 Raajaavai Nnokki: ummutaiya varththamaanangalaiyum ummutaiya njaanaththaiyum kuriththu naan en thaesaththil kaetta seythi meyyaayittaு. And she said to the king, It was a true report that I heard in mine own land of thy acts and of thy wisdom.

7 Naan vanthu athai en kannkalaal kaanumattum antha vaarththaikalai naan nampavillai; ivaikalil paathiyaakilum enakku arivikkappadavillai entu kaannkiraேn; naan kaelvippatta pirasthaapaththaippaarkkilum, ummutaiya njaanamum selvamum athikamaayirukkirathu. Howbeit I believed not the words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the half was not told me: thy wisdom and prosperity exceedeth the fame which I heard.

8 Ummutaiya janangal paakkiyavaankal; eppothum umakku munpaaka nintu, ummutaiya njaanaththaik kaetkira ummutaiya ooliyakkaararum paakkiyavaankal. Happy are thy men, happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and that hear thy wisdom.

9 Ummai isravaelin singaasanaththinmael vaikka, ummael piriyangaொnnda ummutaiya thaevanaakiya Karththar sthoththirikkappaduvaaraaka: Karththar isravaelai entaikkum sinaekikkirapatiyinaal, Ψிyaayamum neethiyum seykiratharku ummai raajaavaaka aerpaduththinaar ental. Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee, to set thee on the throne of Israel: because the LORD loved Israel for ever, therefore made he thee king, to do judgment and justice.

10 Aval raajaavukku noottirupathu thaalanthu ponnaiyum, mikuthiyaana kanthavarkkangalaiyum, iraththinangalaiyum koduththaal; sepaavin raajasthiree raajaavaakiya saalomonukkuk koduththa avvalavu kanthavarkkangal pirpaadu orukkaalum varavillai. And she gave the king an hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices very great store, and precious stones: there came no more such abundance of spices as these which the queen of Sheba gave to king Solomon.

11 Oppeerilirunthu ponnaik konnduvarukira eeraamin kappalkalum, oppeerilirunthu mikuntha vaasanaimarangalaiyum iraththinangalaiyum konnduvanthathu. And the navy also of Hiram, that brought gold from Ophir, brought in from Ophir great plenty of almug trees, and precious stones.

12 Antha vaasanaimarangalaal raajaa karththarutaiya aalayaththirkum raaja aramanaikkum oontukaalkalaiyum, sangaீthakkaararukkuch suramanndalangalaiyum, thampurukalaiyum unndaakkinaan; appatippatta vaasanaimarangal pirpaadu vanthathumillai, innaalvaraikkum kaanappadavumillai. And the king made of the almug trees pillars for the house of the LORD, and for the king's house, harps also and psalteries for singers: there came no such almug trees, nor were seen unto this day.

13 Raajaavaakiya saalomon thaanae santhoshamaaych sepaavin raajasthireekku vekumathikal koduththathum allaamal, aval viruppappattuk kaettathu ellaavattaைyum avalukkuk koduththaan; pinpu aval than parivaaraththotae than thaesaththirkuth thirumpip ponaal. And king Solomon gave unto the queen of Sheba all her desire, whatsoever she asked, beside that which Solomon gave her of his royal bounty. So she turned and went to her own country, she and her servants.

14 Saalomonukku viyaapaarikalaalum, sukantha thiraviya varththakaraalum, arapithaesaththu sakala raajaakkalaalum, maakaanangalin athipathikalaalum vantha ponnaiyallaamal, Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred threescore and six talents of gold,

15 Ovvoru varushaththil avanukku vantha pon araுnoottaு araுpaththaaraு thaalanthu niraiyaayirunthathu. Beside that he had of the merchantmen, and of the traffic of the spice merchants, and of all the kings of Arabia, and of the governors of the country.

16 Saalomon raajaa, atiththa pon thakattal irunooraு parisaikalaich seyviththaan; ovvoru parisaikku araுnooraு sekkal niraipon sentathu. And king Solomon made two hundred targets of beaten gold: six hundred shekels of gold went to one target.

17 Atiththa pon thakattal munnooraு kaedakangalaiyum seyviththaan; ovvoru kaedakaththirku moontu iraaththal pon sentathu; avaikalai raajaa leepanon vanam ennum maalikaiyilae vaiththaan. And he made three hundred shields of beaten gold; three pound of gold went to one shield: and the king put them in the house of the forest of Lebanon.

18 Raajaa thanthaththinaal periya oru singaasanaththaiyum seyviththu, athaip pasumpon thakattal mootinaan. Moreover the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with the best gold.

19 Anthach singaasanaththirku aaraு patikal irunthathu; singaasanaththin thalaippu pinnaaka valaivaayirunthathu; utkaarum idaththirku irupuramum kaichchaாymaanangal irunthathu; iranndu singangal kaich saaymaanangal arukae nintathu. The throne had six steps, and the top of the throne was round behind: and there were stays on either side on the place of the seat, and two lions stood beside the stays.

20 Aaraு patikalinmaelum, iranndu pakkaththilum, panniranndu singangal nintathu; entha raajyaththilum ippatip pannnappadavillai. And twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the six steps: there was not the like made in any kingdom.

21 Raajaavaakiya saalomonukku iruntha paanapaaththirangalellaam ponnum, leepanon vanam enkira maalikaiyin pannimuttukalellaam pasumponnumaayirunthathu; ontum velliyinaal seyyappadavillai; saalomonin naatkalil velli oru porulaay ennnappadavillai. And all king Solomon's drinking vessels were of gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon were of pure gold; none were of silver: it was nothing accounted of in the days of Solomon.

22 Raajaavukkuch samuththiraththilae eeraamin kappalkalotaekoodath tharsheesin kappalkalum irunthathu; tharsheesin kappalkal moontu varushaththukku orutharam ponnaiyum, velliyaiyum, yaanaiththanthangalaiyum, kurangukalaiyum, mayilkalaiyum konnduvarum. For the king had at sea a navy of Tharshish with the navy of Hiram: once in three years came the navy of Tharshish, bringing gold, and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks.

23 Poomiyin sakala raajaakkalaippaarkkilum, raajaavaakiya saalomon aisuvariyaththilum njaanaththilum siranthavanaayirunthaan. So king Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth for riches and for wisdom.

24 Saalomonin iruthayaththilae Dhevan aruliya njaanaththaik kaetkiratharkaaka, sakala thaesaththaarum avan mukatharisanaththaith thaetinaarkal. And all the earth sought to Solomon, to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart.

25 Varushaavarusham avaravar thangal kaannikkaiyaakiya vellippaaththirangalaiyum, porpaaththirangalaiyum, vasthirangalaiyum, aayuthangalaiyum, kanthavarkkangalaiyum, kuthiraikalaiyum, kovaeraு kaluthaikalaiyum konnduvaruvaarkal. And they brought every man his present, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and garments, and armor, and spices, horses, and mules, a rate year by year.

26 Saalomon irathangalaiyum kuthiraiveeraraiyum serththaan; avanukku aayiraththu naanooraு irathangal irunthathu, panneeraayiram kuthiraiveerarum irunthaarkal; avaikalai irathangal vaikkum pattanangalilum,avarkalai erusalaemil thannidaththilum vaiththirunthaan. And Solomon gathered together chariots and horsemen: and he had a thousand and four hundred chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen, whom he bestowed in the cities for chariots, and with the king at Jerusalem.

27 Erusalaemilae raajaa velliyaik karkalpolavum, kaethurumarangalaip pallaththaakkukalil irukkum kaattaththimarangalpolavum athikamaakkinaan. And the king made silver to be in Jerusalem as stones, and cedars made he to be as the sycamore trees that are in the vale, for abundance.

28 Saalomon thanakkuk kuthiraikalaiyum pudavaikalaiyum ekipthilirunthu alaippiththaan; raajaavin varththakar pudavaikalai oppantha vilaikkirayaththirku vaanginaarkal. And Solomon had horses brought out of Egypt, and linen yarn: the king's merchants received the linen yarn at a price.

29 Ekipthilirunthu vantha ovvoru irathaththin vilai araுnooraு vellikkaasum, ovvoru kuthiraiyin vilai noottaைmpathu vellik kaasumaayirunthathu; inthappirakaaram aeththiyarin raajaakkalellaarukkum, seeriyaavin raajaakkalukkum avarkal moolamaayk konndu varappattathu. And a chariot came up and went out of Egypt for six hundred shekels of silver, and an horse for an hundred and fifty: and so for all the kings of the Hittites, and for the kings of Syria, did they bring them out by their means.
