ఆ పెయ్యయొక్క భస్మమును పోగుచేసినవాడు తన బట్టలు ఉదుకుకొని సాయంకాలము వరకు అపవిత్రుడై యుండును. ఇది ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకును వారిలో నివసించు పరదేశులకును నిత్యమైన కట్టడ.

| be shall it and | וְֽהָיְתָ֞ה | wĕhāytâ | veh-hai-TA |
| unto the children | לִבְנֵ֣י | libnê | leev-NAY |
| of Israel, | יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל | yiśrāʾēl | yees-ra-ALE |
| stranger the unto and | וְלַגֵּ֛ר | wĕlaggēr | veh-la-ɡARE |
| that sojourneth | הַגָּ֥ר | haggār | ha-ɡAHR |
