వారు వెళ్ళినతరువాత ఇదిగో ప్రభువు దూత స్వప్న మందు యోసేపునకు ప్రత్యక్షమైహేరోదు ఆ శిశువును సంహరింపవలెనని ఆయనను వెదకబోవుచున్నాడు గనుక నీవు లేచి ఆ శిశువును ఆయన తల్లిని వెంటబెట్టుకొని ఐగుప్తునకు పారిపోయి, నేను నీతో తెలియజెప్పువరకు అక్కడనే యుండుమని అతనితో చెప్పెను.

And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.
