యోహాను సువార్త 4
1 యోహాను కంటె యేసు ఎక్కువమందిని శిష్యులనుగా చేసికొని వారికి బాప్తిస్మమిచ్చుచున్న సంగతి పరిసయ్యులు వినిరని ప్రభువునకు తెలిసినప్పడు
2 ఆయన యూదయ దేశము విడిచి గలిలయదేశమునకు తిరిగి వెళ్లెను.
3 అయి నను యేసే బాప్తిస్మమియ్యలేదు గాని ఆయన శిష్యులిచ్చు చుండిరి.
4 ఆయన సమరయ మార్గమున వెళ్లవలసివచ్చెను గనుక
5 యాకోబు తన కుమారుడైన యోసేపుకిచ్చిన భూమి దగ్గరనున్న సమరయలోని సుఖారను ఒక ఊరికి వచ్చెను.
6 అక్కడ యాకోబు బావి యుండెను గనుక యేసు ప్రయాణమువలన అలసియున్న రీతినే ఆ బావి యొద్ద కూర్చుండెను; అప్పటికి ఇంచుమించు పండ్రెండు గంటలాయెను.
7 సమరయ స్త్రీ ఒకతె నీళ్ళు చేదుకొను టకు అక్కడికి రాగా యేసునాకు దాహమునకిమ్మని ఆమె నడిగెను.
8 ఆయన శిష్యులు ఆహారము కొనుటకు ఊరిలోనికి వెళ్లియుండిరి.
9 ఆ సమరయ స్త్రీయూదుడ వైన నీవు సమరయ స్త్రీనైన నన్ను దాహమునకిమ్మని యేలాగు అడుగుచున్నావని ఆయనతో చెప్పెను. ఏల యనగా యూదులు సమరయులతో సాంగత్యము చేయరు.
10 అందుకు యేసునీవు దేవుని వరమునునాకు దాహమునకిమ్మని నిన్ను అడుగుచున్నవాడెవడో అదియు ఎరిగియుంటే నీవు ఆయనను అడుగుదువు, ఆయన నీకు జీవజల మిచ్చునని ఆమెతో చెప్పెన
11 అప్పుడా స్త్రీ అయ్యా, యీ బావి లోతైనది, చేదుకొనుటకు నీకేమియు లేదే; ఆ జీవజలము ఏలాగు నీకు దొరకును?
12 తానును తన కుమాళ్లును, పశువులును, యీబావినీళ్లు త్రాగి మాకిచ్చిన మన తండ్రియైన యాకోబుకంటె నీవు గొప్పవాడవా? అని ఆయనను అడిగెను.
13 అందుకు యేసు ఈ నీళ్లు త్రాగు ప్రతివాడును మరల దప్పిగొనును;
14 నేనిచ్చు నీళ్లు త్రాగు వాడెప్పుడును దప్పిగొనడు; నేను వానికిచ్చు నీళ్లు నిత్యజీవమునకై వానిలో ఊరెడి నీటి బుగ్గగా ఉండునని ఆమెతో చెప్పెను.
15 ఆ స్త్రీ ఆయనను చూచి అయ్యా,నేను దప్పిగొనకుండునట్లును, చేదుకొనుట కింతదూరము రాకుండునట్లును ఆ నీళ్లు నాకు దయచేయుమని అడుగగా
16 యేసు నీవు వెళ్లి నీ పెనిమి టిని పిలుచుకొని యిక్కడికి రమ్మని ఆమెతో చెప్పెను.
17 ఆ స్త్రీనాకు పెనిమిటి లేడనగా, యేసు ఆమెతొ నాకు పెనిమిటి లేడని నీవు చెప్పిన మాటసరియే;
18 నీకు అయిదుగురు పెనిమిట్లుండిరి, ఇప్పుడు ఉన్నవాడు నీ పెనిమిటి కాడు; సత్యమే చెప్పితివనెను.
19 అప్పుడా స్త్రీ అయ్యా, నీవు ప్రవక్తవని గ్రహించుచున్నాను.
20 మా పితరులు ఈ పర్వతమందు ఆరాధించిరి గాని ఆరా ధింపవలసిన స్థలము యెరూషలేములో ఉన్నదని మీరు చెప్పుదురని ఆయనతో అనగా యేసు ఆమెతో ఇట్లనెను
21 అమ్మా, ఒక కాలము వచ్చుచున్నది, ఆ కాలమందు ఈ పర్వతము మీదనైనను యెరూషలేములోనైనను మీరు తండ్రిని ఆరాధింపరు. నా మాట నమ్ముము;
22 మీరు మీకు తెలియనిదానిని ఆరాధించువారు, మేము మాకు తెలిసినదానిని ఆరాధించువారము; రక్షణ యూదులలో నుండియే కలుగుచున్నది.
23 అయితే యథార్థముగా ఆరా ధించువారు ఆత్మతోను సత్యముతోను తండ్రిని ఆరాధించు కాలము వచ్చుచున్నది; అది ఇప్పుడును వచ్చేయున్నది; తన్ను ఆరాధించువారు అట్టివారే కావలెనని తండ్రి కోరు చ
24 దేవుడు ఆత్మగనుక ఆయనను ఆరాధించు వారు ఆత్మతోను సత్యముతోను ఆరాధింపవలెననెను.
25 ఆ స్త్రీ ఆయనతోక్రీస్తనబడిన మెస్సీయ వచ్చునని నేనెరుగుదును; ఆయన వచ్చినప్పుడు మాకు సమస్తమును తెలియజేయునని చెప్పగా
26 యేసునీతో మాటలాడు చున్న నేనే ఆయననని ఆమెతో చెప్పెను.
27 ఇంతలో ఆయన శిష్యులు వచ్చి ఆయన స్త్రీతో మాటలాడుట చూచి ఆశ్చర్యపడిరి గానినీకేమి కావలె ననియైనను, ఈమెతో ఎందుకు మాటలాడు చున్నావని యైనను ఎవడును అడుగలేదు.
28 ఆ స్త్రీ తన కుండ విడిచిపెట్టి ఊరిలోనికి వెళ్లి
29 మీరు వచ్చి, నేను చేసిన వన్నియు నాతో చెప్పిన మనుష్యుని చూడుడి; ఈయన క్రీస్తుకాడా అని ఆ ఊరివారితో చెప్పగా
30 వారు ఊరిలోనుండి బయలుదేరి ఆయనయొద్దకు వచ్చుచుండిరి.
31 ఆ లోగా శిష్యులుబోధకుడా, భోజనము చేయుమని ఆయనను వేడుకొనిరి.
32 అందుకాయనభుజించుటకు మీకు తెలియని ఆహారము నాకు ఉన్నదని వారితో చెప్పగా
33 శిష్యులుఆయన భుజించుటకు ఎవడైన నేమైనను తెచ్చెనేమో అని యొకనితో ఒకడు చెప్పు కొనిరి.
34 యేసు వారిని చూచినన్ను పంపినవాని చిత్తము నెరవేర్చుటయు, ఆయన పని తుదముట్టించుటయు నాకు ఆహారమై యున్నది.
35 ఇంక నాలుగు నెలలైన తరువాత కోతకాలము వచ్చునని మీరు చెప్పుదురు గదా. ఇదిగో మీ కన్నులెత్తి పొలములను చూడుడి; అవి ఇప్పుడే తెల్లబారి కోతకు వచ్చియున్నవని మీతో చెప్పు చున్నాను.
36 విత్తువాడును కోయువాడును కూడ సంతో షించునట్లు, కోయువాడు జీతము పుచ్చుకొని నిత్య జీవార్థ మైన ఫలము సమకూర్చుకొనుచున్నాడు.
37 విత్తువా డొకడు కోయువాడొకడను మాట యీ విషయములో సత్యమే.
38 మీరు దేనినిగూర్చి కష్టపడ లేదో దానిని కోయుటకు మిమ్మును పంపితిని; ఇతరులు కష్టపడిరి మీరు వారి కష్టఫలములో ప్రవేశించుచున్నారని చెప్పెను.
39 నేను చేసినవన్నియు నాతో చెప్పెనని సాక్ష్య మిచ్చిన స్త్రీయొక్క మాటనుబట్టి ఆ ఊరిలోని సమర యులలో అనేకులు ఆయనయందు విశ్వాసముంచిరి.
40 ఆ సమరయులు ఆయనయొద్దకు వచ్చి,తమయొద్ద ఉండుమని ఆయనను వేడుకొనిరి గనుక ఆయన అక్కడ రెండు దినములుండెను.
41 ఆయన మాటలు వినినందున ఇంకను అనేకులు నమి్మ ఆ స్త్రీని చూచిఇకమీదట నీవు చెప్పిన మాటనుబట్టి కాక
42 మామట్టుకు మేము విని, యీయన నిజముగా లోకరక్షకుడని తెలిసికొని నమ్ముచున్నామనిరి.
43 ఆ రెండుదినములైన తరువాత ఆయన అక్కడనుండి బయలుదేరి గలిలయకు వెళ్లెను.
44 ఎందుకనగా ప్రవక్త స్వదేశములో ఘనత పొందడని యేసు సాక్ష్య మిచ్చెను.
45 గలిలయులుకూడ ఆ పండుగకు వెళ్ళువారు గనుక యెరూషలేములో పండుగ సమయమున ఆయనచేసిన కార్యములన్నియు వారు చూచినందున ఆయన గలిలయకు వచ్చినప్పుడు వారు ఆయనను చేర్చుకొనిరి.
46 తాను నీళ్లు ద్రాక్షారసముగా చేసిన గలిలయలోని కానాకు ఆయన తిరిగి వచ్చెను. అప్పుడు కపెర్న హూ ములో ఒక ప్రధానికుమారుడు రోగియైయుండెను.
47 యేసు యూదయనుండి గలిలయకు వచ్చెనని అతడు విని ఆయనయొద్దకు వెళ్లి, తన కుమారుడు చావ సిద్ధమైయుండెను గనుక ఆయనవచ్చి అతని స్వస్థ పరచవలెనని వేడుకొనెను.
48 యేసుసూచక క్రియలను మహత్కార్యములను చూడ కుంటే మీరెంతమాత్రము నమ్మరని అతనితో చెప్పెను.
49 అందుకా ప్రధానిప్రభువా, నా కుమారుడు చావక మునుపే రమ్మని ఆయనను వేడుకొనెను.
50 యేసు నీవు వెళ్లుము, నీ కుమారుడు బ్రదికియున్నాడని అతనితో చెప్పగా ఆ మనుష్యుడు యేసు తనతో చెప్పిన మాట నమి్మ వెళ్లి పోయెను.
51 అతడింక వెళ్లుచుండగా అతని దాసులు అతనికి ఎదురుగావచ్చి, అతని కుమారుడు బ్రదికి యున్నాడని తెలియజెప్పిరి.
52 ఏ గంటకు వాడు బాగు పడసాగెనని వారిని అడిగినప్పుడు వారునిన్న ఒంటి గంటకు జ్వరము వానిని విడిచెనని అతనితో చెప్పిరి.
53 నీ కుమారుడు బ్రదికియున్నాడని యేసు తనతో చెప్పిన గంట అదే అని తండ్రి తెలిసికొనెను గనుక అతడును అతని యింటివారందరును నమి్మరి.
54 ఇది యేసు యూదయ నుండి గలిలయకు వచ్చి చేసిన రెండవ సూచకక్రియ.
1 When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John,
2 (Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples,)
3 He left Judaea, and departed again into Galilee.
4 And he must needs go through Samaria.
5 Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.
6 Now Jacob’s well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour.
7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.
8 (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)
9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.
10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?
12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?
13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
15 The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.
16 Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.
17 The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:
18 For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.
19 The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.
20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.
21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.
22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.
26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.
27 And upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her?
28 The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men,
29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?
30 Then they went out of the city, and came unto him.
31 In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat.
32 But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of.
33 Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat?
34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.
36 And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.
37 And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth.
38 I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.
39 And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.
40 So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days.
41 And many more believed because of his own word;
42 And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.
43 Now after two days he departed thence, and went into Galilee.
44 For Jesus himself testified, that a prophet hath no honour in his own country.
45 Then when he was come into Galilee, the Galilaeans received him, having seen all the things that he did at Jerusalem at the feast: for they also went unto the feast.
46 So Jesus came again into Cana of Galilee, where he made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman, whose son was sick at Capernaum.
47 When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him that he would come down, and heal his son: for he was at the point of death.
48 Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe.
49 The nobleman saith unto him, Sir, come down ere my child die.
50 Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way.
51 And as he was now going down, his servants met him, and told him, saying, Thy son liveth.
52 Then inquired he of them the hour when he began to amend. And they said unto him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.
53 So the father knew that it was at the same hour, in the which Jesus said unto him, Thy son liveth: and himself believed, and his whole house.
54 This is again the second miracle that Jesus did, when he was come out of Judaea into Galilee.
Acts 4 in Tamil and English
1 వారు ప్రజలతో మాటలాడుచుండగా, యాజకులును దేవాలయపు అధిపతియు సద్దూకయ్యులును
And as they spake unto the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them,
2 వారు ప్రజ లకు బోధించుటయు, యేసునుబట్టి మృతులలోనుండి పునరు త్థానము కలుగునని ప్రకటించుటయు చూచి కలవరపడి వారిమీదికివచ్చి
Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead.
3 వారిని బలాత్కారముగా పట్టుకొని, సాయంకాలమైనందున మరునాటివరకు వారిని కావలిలో ఉంచిరి.
And they laid hands on them, and put them in hold unto the next day: for it was now eventide.
4 వాక్యము వినినవారిలో అనేకులు నమి్మరి. వారిలో పురుషుల సంఖ్య యించుమించు అయిదువేలు ఆయెను.
Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand.
5 మరునాడు వారి అధికారులును పెద్దలును శాస్త్రులును యెరూషలేములో కూడుకొనిరి.
And it came to pass on the morrow, that their rulers, and elders, and scribes,
6 ప్రధాన యాజకుడైన అన్నయు కయపయు, యోహానును అలెక్సంద్రును ప్రధానయాజకుని బంధువులందరు వారితో కూడ ఉండిరి.
And Annas the high priest, and Caiaphas, and John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the kindred of the high priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem.
7 వారు పేతురును యోహానును మధ్యను నిలువబెట్టి మీరు ఏ బలముచేత ఏ నామమునుబట్టి దీనిని చేసితిరని అడుగగా
And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?
8 పేతురు పరిశుద్ధాత్మతో నిండినవాడై యిట్లనెనుప్రజల అధికారులారా, పెద్దలారా,
Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,
9 ఆ దుర్బలునికి చేయబడిన ఉపకారమునుగూర్చి వాడు దేనివలన స్వస్థత పొందెనని నేడు మమ్మును విమర్శించుచున్నారు గనుక
If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;
10 మీరందరును ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలందరును తెలిసికొనవలసిన దేమనగా, మీరు సిలువవేసినట్టియు, మృతులలోనుండి దేవుడు లేపినట్టియు నజరేయుడైన యేసుక్రీస్తు నామముననే వీడు స్వస్థతపొంది మీ యెదుట నిలుచుచున్నాడు.
Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
11 ఇల్లు కట్టువారైన మీరు తృణీకరించిన రాయి ఆయనే; ఆ రాయి మూలకు తలరాయి ఆయెను.
This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
12 మరి ఎవనివలనను రక్షణ కలుగదు; ఈ నామముననే మనము రక్షణ పొందవలెను గాని, ఆకాశము క్రింద మనుష్యులలో ఇయ్యబడిన మరి ఏ నామమున రక్షణ పొందలేము అనెను.
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
13 వారు పేతురు యోహానుల ధైర్యమును చూచినప్పుడు వారు విద్యలేని పామరులని గ్రహించి ఆశ్చర్యపడి, వారు యేసుతోకూడ ఉండినవారని గుర్తెరిగిరి.
Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.
14 స్వస్థత పొందిన ఆ మనుష్యుడు వారితో కూడ నిలిచియుండుట చూచి యేమియు ఎదురు చెప్పలేకపోయిరి.
And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.
15 అప్పుడు సభ వెలుపలికి పొండని వారి కాజ్ఞాపించి తమలోతాము ఆలోచన చేసి
But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves,
16 ఈ మనుష్యులను మనమేమి చేయుదము? వారిచేత ప్రసిద్ధమైన సూచకక్రియ చేయ బడియున్నదని యెరూషలేములో కాపురమున్న వారి కందరికి స్పష్టమే, అది జరుగలేదని చెప్పజ
Saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it.
17 అయినను ఇది ప్రజలలో ఇంక వ్యాపింపకుండుటకైఇకమీదట ఈ నామమునుబట్టి యే మనుష్యులతోనైనను మాటలాడ కూడదని మనము వారిని బెదరుపెట్టవలెనని చెప్పుకొనిరి.
But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name.
18 అప్పుడు వారిని పిలిపించిమీరు యేసు నామమునుబట్టి యెంతమాత్రమును మాటలాడకూడదు, బోధింపనుకూడదని వారికాజ్ఞాపించిరి.
And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.
19 అందుకుపేతురును యోహానును వారినిచూచి దేవుని మాట వినుటకంటె మీ మాట వినుట దేవుని దృష్టికి న్యాయమా? మీరే చెప్పుడి;
But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.
20 మేము కన్నవాటిని విన్నవాటిని చెప్పక యుండలేమని వారికి ఉత్తరమిచ్చిరి;
For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.
21 ప్రజలందరు జరిగిన దానినిగూర్చి దేవుని మహిమపరచుచుండిరి గనుక సభవారు ప్రజలకు భయపడి, వీరిని శిక్షించు విధమేమియు కనుగొన లేక వీరిని గట్టిగా బెదరించి విడుదలచేసిరి.
So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding nothing how they might punish them, because of the people: for all men glorified God for that which was done.
22 స్వస్థ పరచుట అను ఆ సూచకక్రియ యెవని విషయములో చేయబడెనో వాడు నలువది ఏండ్లకంటె ఎక్కువ వయస్సు గలవాడు.
For the man was above forty years old, on whom this miracle of healing was shewed.
23 వారు విడుదల నొంది తమ స్వజనులయొద్దకు వచ్చి, ప్రధానయాజకులును పెద్దలును తమతో చెప్పిన మాటల నన్నిటిని వారికి తెలిపిరి.
And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them.
24 వారు విని, యేక మనస్సుతో దేవునికిట్లు బిగ్గరగా మొఱపెట్టిరి. నాథా, నీవు ఆకాశమును భూమిని సముద్రమును వాటిలోని సమస్తమును కలుగజేసినవాడవు.
And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:
25 అన్యజనులు ఏల అల్లరి చేసిరి? ప్రజలెందుకు వ్యర్థమైన ఆలోచనలు పెట్టుకొనిరి?
Who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things?
26 ప్రభువుమీదను ఆయన క్రీస్తుమీదను3 భూరాజులు లేచిరి, అధికారులును ఏకముగా కూడుకొనిరి అని నీవు పరిశుద్ధాత్మద్వారా మా తండ్రియు నీ సేవకుడునైన దావీదు నోట పలికించితివి.
The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ.
27 ఏవి జరుగవలెనని నీ హస్తమును నీ సంకల్పమును ముందు నిర్ణయించెనో,
For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,
28 వాటి నన్నిటిని చేయుటకై నీవు అభిషేకించిన నీ పరిశుద్ధ సేవకుడైన యేసునకు విరోధముగా హేరోదును పొంతి పిలాతును అన్యజనులతోను ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలతోను ఈ పట్టణమందు నిజముగా కూడుకొనిరి.
For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.
29 ప్రభువా, ఈ సమయమునందు వారి బెదరింపులు చూచి
And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,
30 రోగులను స్వస్థపరచుటకును, నీ పరిశుద్ధ సేవకుడైన యేసు నామము ద్వారా సూచక క్రియలను మహత్కార్యములను చేయు టకును నీ చెయ్యి చాచియుండగా, నీ దాసులు బహు ధైర్యముగా నీ వాక్యమును బోధించునట్లు అనుగ్ర హించుము.
By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.
31 వారు ప్రార్థనచేయగానే వారు కూడి యున్న చోటు కంపించెను; అప్పుడు వారందరు పరి శుద్ధాత్మతో నిండినవారై దేవుని వాక్యమును ధైర్యముగా బోధించిరి.
And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
32 విశ్వసించినవారందరును ఏకహృదయమును ఏకాత్మయు గలవారై యుండిరి. ఎవడును తనకు కలిగిన వాటిలో ఏదియు తనదని అనుకొనలేదు; వారికి కలిగినదంతయు వారికి సమష్టిగా ఉండెను.
And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.
33 ఇదియుగాక అపొస్తలులు బహు బలముగా ప్రభువైన యేసు పునరుత్థానమును గూర్చి సాక్ష్యమిచ్చిరి. దైవకృప అందరియందు అధికముగా ఉండెను.
And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.
34 భూములైనను ఇండ్లయినను కలిగినవారందరు వాటిని అమి్మ, అమి్మన వాటి వెలతెచ్చి అపొస్తలుల పాదములయొద్ద పెట్టుచు వచ్చిరి.
Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,
35 వారు ప్రతివానికి వానివాని అక్కరకొలది పంచిపెట్టిరి గనుక వారిలో ఎవనికిని కొదువలేకపోయెను.
And laid them down at the apostles’ feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.
36 కుప్రలో పుట్టిన లేవీయుడగు యోసేపు అను ఒక డుండెను. ఇతనికి అపొస్తలులు, హెచ్చరిక పుత్రుడు అని అర్థమిచ్చు బర్నబా అను పేరు పెట్టియుండిరి. ఇతడు భూమిగలవాడై యుండి దానిని అమి్మ
And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus,
37 దాని వెలతెచ్చి అపొస్తలుల పాదములయొద్ద పెట్టెను.
Having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles’ feet.
