యెషయా గ్రంథము 33
1 దోచుకొనబడకపోయినను దోచుకొనుచుండు నీకు శ్రమ నిన్నెవరు వంచింపకపోయినను వంచించుచుండు నీకు శ్రమ నీవు దోచుకొనుట మానిన తరువాత నీవు దోచుకొన బడెదవు నీవు వంచించుట ముగించిన తరువాత జనులు నిన్ను వంచించెదరు.
2 యెహోవా, నీకొరకు కనిపెట్టుచున్నాము మాయందు కరుణించుమ్‌ు ఉదయకాలమున వారికి బాహువుగానుఆపత్కాలమున మాకు రక్షణాధారముగానుఉండుము.
3 మహాఘోషణ విని జనములు పారిపోవును నీవు లేచుటతోనే అన్యజనులు చెదరిపోవుదురు.
4 చీడపురుగులు కొట్టివేయునట్లు మీ సొమ్ము దోచ బడును మిడతలు ఎగిరిపడునట్లు శత్రువులు దానిమీద పడు దురు
5 యెహోవా మహా ఘనత నొందియున్నాడు ఆయన ఉన్నతస్థలమున నివసించుచు న్యాయముతోను నీతితోను సీయోనును నింపెను.
6 నీకాలములో నియమింపబడినది స్థిరముగా నుండును రక్షణ బాహుళ్యమును బుద్ధిజ్ఞానముల సమృద్ధియు కలుగును యెహోవా భయము వారికి ఐశ్వర్యము.
7 వారి శూరులు బయట రోదనము చేయుచున్నారు సమాధాన రాయబారులు ఘోరముగా ఏడ్చు చున్నారు.
8 రాజమార్గములు పాడైపోయెను త్రోవను నడచువారు లేకపోయిరి అష్షూరు నిబంధన మీరెను పట్టణములను అవమాన పరచెను నరులను తృణీకరించెను.
9 దేశము దుఃఖించి క్షీణించుచున్నది లెబానోను సిగ్గుపడి వాడిపోవుచున్నది షారోను ఎడారి ఆయెను బాషానును కర్మెలును తమ చెట్ల ఆకులను రాల్చుకొను చున్నవి.
10 యెహోవా ఇట్లనుకొనుచున్నాడు ఇప్పుడే లేచెదను ఇప్పుడే నన్ను గొప్పచేసికొనెదను. ఇప్పుడే నాకు ఘనత తెచ్చుకొనెదను.
11 మీరు పొట్టును గర్భము ధరించి కొయ్యకాలును కందురు. మీ ఊపిరియే అగ్నియైనట్టు మిమ్మును దహించి వేయు చున్నది.
12 జనములు కాలుచున్న సున్నపుబట్టీలవలెను నరకబడి అగ్నిలో కాల్చబడిన ముళ్లవలెను అగును.
13 దూరస్థులారా, ఆలకించుడి నేను చేసినదాని చూడుడి సమీపస్థులారా, నా పరాక్రమమును తెలిసికొనుడి.
14 సీయోనులోనున్న పాపులు దిగులుపడుచున్నారు వణకు భక్తిహీనులను పట్టెను. మనలో ఎవడు నిత్యము దహించు అగ్నితో నివసింప గలడు? మనలో ఎవడు నిత్యము కాల్చుచున్నవాటితో నివ సించును?
15 నీతిని అనుసరించి నడచుచు యథార్థముగా మాట లాడుచు నిర్బంధనవలన వచ్చు లాభమును ఉపేక్షించుచు లంచము పుచ్చుకొనకుండ తన చేతులను మలుపుకొని హత్య యను మాట వినకుండ చెవులు మూసికొని చెడుతనము చూడకుండ కన్నులు మూసికొనువాడు ఉన్నతస్థలమున నివసించును.
16 పర్వతములలోని శిలలు అతనికి కోటయగును తప్పక అతనికి ఆహారము దొరకును అతని నీళ్లు అతనికి శాశ్వతముగా ఉండును.
17 అలంకరింపబడిన రాజును నీవు కన్నులార చూచె దవు బహు దూరమునకు వ్యాపించుచున్న దేశము నీకు కన బడును.
18 నీ హృదయము భయంకరమైనవాటినిబట్టి ధ్యానించును. జనసంఖ్య వ్రాయువాడెక్కడ ఉన్నాడు? తూచువాడెక్కడ ఉన్నాడు? బురుజులను లెక్కించువాడెక్కడ ఉన్నాడు?
19 నాగరికములేని ఆ జనమును గ్రహింపలేని గంభీరభాషయు నీకు తెలియని అన్య భాషయు పలుకు ఆ జనమును నీవికను చూడవు.
20 ఉత్సవకాలములలో మనము కూడుకొనుచున్న సీయోను పట్టణమును చూడుము నిమ్మళమైన కాపురముగాను తియ్యబడని గుడారముగాను నీ కన్నులు యెరూష లేమును చూచును దాని మేకులెన్నడును ఊడదీయబడవు దాని త్రాళ్లలో ఒక్కటియైనను తెగదు.
21 అచ్చట యెహోవా ప్రభావముగలవాడై మన పక్షముననుండును, అది విశాలమైన నదులును కాలువలును ఉన్న స్థలముగా ఉండును అందులో తెడ్ల ఓడ యేదియు నడువదు గొప్ప ఓడ అక్కడికి రాదు.
22 యెహోవా మనకు న్యాయాధిపతి యెహోవా మన శాసనకర్త యెహోవా మన రాజు ఆయన మనలను రక్షించును.
23 నీ ఓడత్రాళ్లు వదలిపోయెను ఓడవారు తమ కొయ్య అడుగును దిట్టపరచరు చాపను విప్పి పట్టరు కాగా విస్తారమైన దోపుడు సొమ్ము విభాగింపబడును కుంటివారే దోపుడుసొమ్ము పంచుకొందురు.
24 నాకు దేహములో బాగులేదని అందులో నివసించు వాడెవడును అనడు దానిలో నివసించు జనుల దోషము పరిహరింపబడును.
1 Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou wast not spoiled; and dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! when thou shalt cease to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled; and when thou shalt make an end to deal treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee.
2 O Lord, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee: be thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.
3 At the noise of the tumult the people fled; at the lifting up of thyself the nations were scattered.
4 And your spoil shall be gathered like the gathering of the caterpiller: as the running to and fro of locusts shall he run upon them.
5 The Lord is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with judgment and righteousness.
6 And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the Lord is his treasure.
7 Behold, their valiant ones shall cry without: the ambassadors of peace shall weep bitterly.
8 The highways lie waste, the wayfaring man ceaseth: he hath broken the covenant, he hath despised the cities, he regardeth no man.
9 The earth mourneth and languisheth: Lebanon is ashamed and hewn down: Sharon is like a wilderness; and Bashan and Carmel shake off their fruits.
10 Now will I rise, saith the Lord; now will I be exalted; now will I lift up myself.
11 Ye shall conceive chaff, ye shall bring forth stubble: your breath, as fire, shall devour you.
12 And the people shall be as the burnings of lime: as thorns cut up shall they be burned in the fire.
13 Hear, ye that are far off, what I have done; and, ye that are near, acknowledge my might.
14 The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?
15 He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;
16 He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.
17 Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.
18 Thine heart shall meditate terror. Where is the scribe? where is the receiver? where is he that counted the towers?
19 Thou shalt not see a fierce people, a people of a deeper speech than thou canst perceive; of a stammering tongue, that thou canst not understand.
20 Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle that shall not be taken down; not one of the stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken.
21 But there the glorious Lord will be unto us a place of broad rivers and streams; wherein shall go no galley with oars, neither shall gallant ship pass thereby.
22 For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; he will save us.
23 Thy tacklings are loosed; they could not well strengthen their mast, they could not spread the sail: then is the prey of a great spoil divided; the lame take the prey.
24 And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.
1 And Samson went down to Timnath, and saw a woman in Timnath of the daughters of the Philistines.
2 And he came up, and told his father and his mother, and said, I have seen a woman in Timnath of the daughters of the Philistines: now therefore get her for me to wife.
3 Then his father and his mother said unto him, Is there never a woman among the daughters of thy brethren, or among all my people, that thou goest to take a wife of the uncircumcised Philistines? And Samson said unto his father, Get her for me; for she pleaseth me well.
4 But his father and his mother knew not that it was of the Lord, that he sought an occasion against the Philistines: for at that time the Philistines had dominion over Israel.
5 Then went Samson down, and his father and his mother, to Timnath, and came to the vineyards of Timnath: and, behold, a young lion roared against him.
6 And the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon him, and he rent him as he would have rent a kid, and he had nothing in his hand: but he told not his father or his mother what he had done.
7 And he went down, and talked with the woman; and she pleased Samson well.
8 And after a time he returned to take her, and he turned aside to see the carcase of the lion: and, behold, there was a swarm of bees and honey in the carcase of the lion.
9 And he took thereof in his hands, and went on eating, and came to his father and mother, and he gave them, and they did eat: but he told not them that he had taken the honey out of the carcase of the lion.
10 So his father went down unto the woman: and Samson made there a feast; for so used the young men to do.
11 And it came to pass, when they saw him, that they brought thirty companions to be with him.
12 And Samson said unto them, I will now put forth a riddle unto you: if ye can certainly declare it me within the seven days of the feast, and find it out, then I will give you thirty sheets and thirty change of garments:
13 But if ye cannot declare it me, then shall ye give me thirty sheets and thirty change of garments. And they said unto him, Put forth thy riddle, that we may hear it.
14 And he said unto them, Out of the eater came forth meat, and out of the strong came forth sweetness. And they could not in three days expound the riddle.
15 And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they said unto Samson’s wife, Entice thy husband, that he may declare unto us the riddle, lest we burn thee and thy father’s house with fire: have ye called us to take that we have? is it not so?
16 And Samson’s wife wept before him, and said, Thou dost but hate me, and lovest me not: thou hast put forth a riddle unto the children of my people, and hast not told it me. And he said unto her, Behold, I have not told it my father nor my mother, and shall I tell it thee?
17 And she wept before him the seven days, while their feast lasted: and it came to pass on the seventh day, that he told her, because she lay sore upon him: and she told the riddle to the children of her people.
18 And the men of the city said unto him on the seventh day before the sun went down, What is sweeter than honey? and what is stronger than a lion? And he said unto them, If ye had not plowed with my heifer, ye had not found out my riddle.
19 And the Spirit of the Lord came upon him, and he went down to Ashkelon, and slew thirty men of them, and took their spoil, and gave change of garments unto them which expounded the riddle. And his anger was kindled, and he went up to his father’s house.
20 But Samson’s wife was given to his companion, whom he had used as his friend.
