యెషయా గ్రంథము 31:8
నరునిది కాని ఖడ్గమువలన అష్షూరీయులు కూలు దురు మనుష్యునిది కాని కత్తిపాలగుదురు. ఖడ్గ మెదుటనుండివారు పారిపోవుదురు

| and the sword, | וְחֶ֥רֶב | wĕḥereb | veh-HEH-rev |
| not | לֹֽא | lōʾ | loh |
| man, mean a of | אָדָ֖ם | ʾādām | ah-DAHM |
| shall devour | תֹּֽאכֲלֶ֑נּוּ | tōʾkălennû | toh-huh-LEH-noo |
| him: but he shall flee | וְנָ֥ס | wĕnās | veh-NAHS |
| from | לוֹ֙ | lô | loh |
| the sword, | מִפְּנֵי | mippĕnê | mee-peh-NAY |
| and his young men | חֶ֔רֶב | ḥereb | HEH-rev |
