మరియు యెహోవా మోషేతో ఇట్లనెనునీవు అహరోనుతోనీకఱ్ఱను పట్టుకొని ఐగుప్తు జలములమీద, అనగా వారి నదులమీదను వారి కాలువలమీదను, వారి చెరువుల మీదను, వారి నీటిగుంటలన్నిటి మీదను నీ చెయ్యి చాపుము; అవి రక్తమగును; ఐగుప్తు దేశమందంతటను మ్రానుపాత్రలలోను రాతిపాత్రలలోను రక్తము ఉండునని అతనితో చెప్పుమనెను.

| of Egypt, | מִצְרַ֜יִם | miṣrayim | meets-RA-yeem |

| their pools | מִקְוֵ֥ה | miqwē | meek-VAY |
| of water, | מֵֽימֵיהֶ֖ם | mêmêhem | may-may-HEM |
| become may they that | וְיִֽהְיוּ | wĕyihĕyû | veh-YEE-heh-yoo |
| blood; | דָ֑ם | dām | dahm |
| and that there may be | וְהָ֤יָה | wĕhāyâ | veh-HA-ya |
| blood | דָם֙ | dām | dahm |
| throughout all | בְּכָל | bĕkāl | beh-HAHL |
| the land | אֶ֣רֶץ | ʾereṣ | EH-rets |
| of Egypt, | מִצְרַ֔יִם | miṣrayim | meets-RA-yeem |
| wood, of vessels in both | וּבָֽעֵצִ֖ים | ûbāʿēṣîm | oo-va-ay-TSEEM |
| and in vessels of stone. | וּבָֽאֲבָנִֽים׃ | ûbāʾăbānîm | oo-VA-uh-va-NEEM |
