నిర్గమకాండము 5:8
అయినను వారు ఇదివరకు చేసిన యిటుకల లెక్కనే వారి మీద మోపవలెను, దానిలో ఏమాత్రమును తక్కువ చేయవద్దు; వారు సోమరులు గనుకమేము వెళ్లి మా దేవునికి బలి నర్పించుటకు

| ye shall lay | שִׁלְשֹׁם֙ | šilšōm | sheel-SHOME |
| upon | תָּשִׂ֣ימוּ | tāśîmû | ta-SEE-moo |
| them; ye shall not | עֲלֵיהֶ֔ם | ʿălêhem | uh-lay-HEM |
| diminish | לֹ֥א | lōʾ | loh |
| ought thereof: | תִגְרְע֖וּ | tigrĕʿû | teeɡ-reh-OO |
| for | מִמֶּ֑נּוּ | mimmennû | mee-MEH-noo |
| they | כִּֽי | kî | kee |
| be idle; | נִרְפִּ֣ים | nirpîm | neer-PEEM |

| עַל | ʿal | al | |

| cry, | הֵ֤ם | hēm | hame |
| saying, | צֹֽעֲקִים֙ | ṣōʿăqîm | tsoh-uh-KEEM |
| Let us go | לֵאמֹ֔ר | lēʾmōr | lay-MORE |
| and sacrifice | נֵֽלְכָ֖ה | nēlĕkâ | nay-leh-HA |
| to our God. | נִזְבְּחָ֥ה | nizbĕḥâ | neez-beh-HA |
| לֵֽאלֹהֵֽינוּ׃ | lēʾlōhênû | LAY-loh-HAY-noo |
