కిల్యాబు అను రెండవవాడు కర్మెలీయుడగు నాబాలు భార్యయైన అబీగ యీలు వలన పుట్టెను. మూడవవాడైన అబ్షాలోము గెషూరు రాజగు తల్మయి కుమార్తెయగు మయకావలన పుట్టెను.

అబ్షాలోము కంచర గాడిదమీద ఎక్కి పోవుచు దావీదు సేవకులకు ఎదురాయెను; ఆ కంచరగాడిద యొక గొప్పమస్తకి వృక్షముయొక్క చిక్కుకొమ్మల క్రిందికి పోయినప్పుడు అతని తల చెట్టుకు తగులుకొనినందున అతడు ఎత్తబడి ఆకాశమునకును భూమికిని మధ్యను వ్రేలాడు చుండగా అతని క్రిందనున్న కంచరగాడిద సాగిపోయెను.

ఆమె అన్నయగు అబ్షాలోము ఆమెను చూచినీ అన్నయగు అమ్నోను నిన్ను కూడినాడు గదా? నా చెల్లీ నీవు ఊర కుండుము; అతడు నీ అన్నే గదా, యిందునుగూర్చి చింతపడవద్దనెను. కావున తామారు చెరుపబడినదై తన అన్నయగు అబ్షాలోము ఇంట నుండెను.

కాబట్టి యెజ్రెయేలీయురాలగు అహీనోయము, కర్మెలీయుడగు నాబాలునకు భార్యయైన అబీగయీలు అను తన యిద్దరు భార్యలను వెంటబెట్టుకొని దావీదు అక్కడికి పోయెను.

అతని పేరు నాబాలు, అతని భార్య పేరు అబీగయీలు. ఈ స్త్రీ సుబుద్ధిగలదై రూపసియైయుండెను. అయితే చర్యలనుబట్టి చూడగా నాబాలు మోటువాడును దుర్మార్గుడునై యుండెను. అతడు కాలేబు సంతతి వాడు.
యెహొషువ 13:13
అయితే ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు గెషూరీయుల దేశమునైనను మాయకాతీయుల దేశము నైనను పట్టుకొనలేదు గనుక గెషూరీయులును మాయకా తీయులును నేటివరకు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల మధ్యను నివసించు చున్నారు.

మనష్షే కుమారు డైన యాయీరు గెషూరీయులయొక్కయు మాయా కాతీయు యొక్కయు సరిహద్దులవరకు అర్గోబు ప్రదేశ మంతటిని పట్టుకొని, తన పేరునుబట్టి వాటికి యాయీరు బాషాను గ్రామములని పేరు పెట్టెను. నేటివరకు ఆ పేర్లు వాటికున్నవి.
