בְּרֵאשִׁ֖ית the beh-ray-SHEET בָּרָ֣א beginning ba-RA אֱלֹהִ֑ים God ay-loh-HEEM אֵ֥ת created ate הַשָּׁמַ֖יִם ha-sha-MA-yeem וְאֵ֥ת the veh-ATE הָאָֽרֶץ׃ heaven ha-AH-rets -
וְהָאָ֗רֶץ the veh-ha-AH-rets הָיְתָ֥ה earth hai-TA תֹ֙הוּ֙ was TOH-HOO וָבֹ֔הוּ without va-VOH-hoo וְחֹ֖שֶׁךְ form, veh-HOH-shek עַל and al פְּנֵ֣י void; peh-NAY תְה֑וֹם and teh-HOME וְר֣וּחַ darkness veh-ROO-ak אֱלֹהִ֔ים was ay-loh-HEEM מְרַחֶ֖פֶת upon meh-ra-HEH-fet עַל the al פְּנֵ֥י face peh-NAY הַמָּֽיִם׃ of ha-MA-yeem -
וַיֹּ֥אמֶר God va-YOH-mer אֱלֹהִ֖ים said, ay-loh-HEEM יְהִ֣י Let yeh-HEE א֑וֹר there ore וַֽיְהִי be VA-hee אֽוֹר׃ light: ore -
וַיַּ֧רְא God va-YAHR אֱלֹהִ֛ים saw ay-loh-HEEM אֶת et הָא֖וֹר the ha-ORE כִּי light, kee ט֑וֹב that tove וַיַּבְדֵּ֣ל it va-yahv-DALE אֱלֹהִ֔ים was ay-loh-HEEM בֵּ֥ין good: bane הָא֖וֹר and ha-ORE וּבֵ֥ין God oo-VANE הַחֹֽשֶׁךְ׃ divided ha-HOH-shek -
וַיִּקְרָ֨א God va-yeek-RA אֱלֹהִ֤ים׀ called ay-loh-HEEM לָאוֹר֙ the la-ORE י֔וֹם light yome וְלַחֹ֖שֶׁךְ Day, veh-la-HOH-shek קָ֣רָא and KA-ra לָ֑יְלָה the LA-yeh-la וַֽיְהִי darkness VA-hee עֶ֥רֶב he EH-rev וַֽיְהִי called VA-hee בֹ֖קֶר Night. VOH-ker י֥וֹם And yome אֶחָֽד׃ the eh-HAHD -
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר God va-YOH-mer אֱלֹהִ֔ים said, ay-loh-HEEM יְהִ֥י Let yeh-HEE רָקִ֖יעַ there ra-KEE-ah בְּת֣וֹךְ be beh-TOKE הַמָּ֑יִם a ha-MA-yeem וִיהִ֣י firmament vee-HEE מַבְדִּ֔יל in mahv-DEEL בֵּ֥ין the bane מַ֖יִם midst MA-yeem לָמָֽיִם׃ of la-MA-yeem -
וַיַּ֣עַשׂ God va-YA-as אֱלֹהִים֮ made ay-loh-HEEM אֶת et הָרָקִיעַ֒ the ha-ra-kee-AH וַיַּבְדֵּ֗ל firmament, va-yahv-DALE בֵּ֤ין and bane הַמַּ֙יִם֙ divided ha-MA-YEEM אֲשֶׁר֙ uh-SHER מִתַּ֣חַת the mee-TA-haht לָרָקִ֔יעַ waters la-ra-KEE-ah וּבֵ֣ין which oo-VANE הַמַּ֔יִם were ha-MA-yeem אֲשֶׁ֖ר under uh-SHER מֵעַ֣ל the may-AL לָרָקִ֑יעַ firmament la-ra-KEE-ah וַֽיְהִי from VA-hee כֵֽן׃ the hane -
וַיִּקְרָ֧א God va-yeek-RA אֱלֹהִ֛ים called ay-loh-HEEM לָֽרָקִ֖יעַ the la-ra-KEE-ah שָׁמָ֑יִם firmament sha-MA-yeem וַֽיְהִי Heaven. VA-hee עֶ֥רֶב And EH-rev וַֽיְהִי the VA-hee בֹ֖קֶר evening VOH-ker י֥וֹם and yome שֵׁנִֽי׃ the shay-NEE -
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר God va-YOH-mer אֱלֹהִ֗ים said, ay-loh-HEEM יִקָּו֨וּ Let yee-ka-VOO הַמַּ֜יִם the ha-MA-yeem מִתַּ֤חַת waters mee-TA-haht הַשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙ under ha-sha-MA-YEEM אֶל the el מָק֣וֹם heaven ma-KOME אֶחָ֔ד be eh-HAHD וְתֵרָאֶ֖ה gathered veh-tay-ra-EH הַיַּבָּשָׁ֑ה together ha-ya-ba-SHA וַֽיְהִי unto VA-hee כֵֽן׃ one hane -
וַיִּקְרָ֨א God va-yeek-RA אֱלֹהִ֤ים׀ called ay-loh-HEEM לַיַּבָּשָׁה֙ the la-ya-ba-SHA אֶ֔רֶץ dry EH-rets וּלְמִקְוֵ֥ה land oo-leh-meek-VAY הַמַּ֖יִם Earth; ha-MA-yeem קָרָ֣א and ka-RA יַמִּ֑ים the ya-MEEM וַיַּ֥רְא gathering va-YAHR אֱלֹהִ֖ים together ay-loh-HEEM כִּי of kee טֽוֹב׃ the tove -
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר God va-YOH-mer אֱלֹהִ֗ים said, ay-loh-HEEM תַּֽדְשֵׁ֤א Let tahd-SHAY הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ the ha-AH-RETS דֶּ֔שֶׁא earth DEH-sheh עֵ֚שֶׂב bring A-sev מַזְרִ֣יעַ forth mahz-REE-ah זֶ֔רַע grass, ZEH-ra עֵ֣ץ the ayts פְּרִ֞י herb peh-REE עֹ֤שֶׂה yielding OH-seh פְּרִי֙ seed, peh-REE לְמִינ֔וֹ and leh-mee-NOH אֲשֶׁ֥ר the uh-SHER זַרְעוֹ fruit zahr-OH ב֖וֹ tree voh עַל yielding al הָאָ֑רֶץ fruit ha-AH-rets וַֽיְהִי after VA-hee כֵֽן׃ his hane -
וַתּוֹצֵ֨א the va-toh-TSAY הָאָ֜רֶץ earth ha-AH-rets דֶּ֠שֶׁא brought DEH-sheh עֵ֣שֶׂב forth A-sev מַזְרִ֤יעַ grass, mahz-REE-ah זֶ֙רַע֙ and ZEH-RA לְמִינֵ֔הוּ herb leh-mee-NAY-hoo וְעֵ֧ץ yielding veh-AYTS עֹֽשֶׂה seed OH-seh פְּרִ֛י after peh-REE אֲשֶׁ֥ר his uh-SHER זַרְעוֹ kind, zahr-OH ב֖וֹ and voh לְמִינֵ֑הוּ the leh-mee-NAY-hoo וַיַּ֥רְא tree va-YAHR אֱלֹהִ֖ים yielding ay-loh-HEEM כִּי fruit, kee טֽוֹב׃ whose tove -
וַֽיְהִי the VA-hee עֶ֥רֶב evening EH-rev וַֽיְהִי and VA-hee בֹ֖קֶר the VOH-ker י֥וֹם morning yome שְׁלִישִֽׁי׃ were sheh-lee-SHEE -
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר God va-YOH-mer אֱלֹהִ֗ים said, ay-loh-HEEM יְהִ֤י Let yeh-HEE מְאֹרֹת֙ there meh-oh-ROTE בִּרְקִ֣יעַ be beer-KEE-ah הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם lights ha-sha-MA-yeem לְהַבְדִּ֕יל in leh-hahv-DEEL בֵּ֥ין the bane הַיּ֖וֹם firmament HA-yome וּבֵ֣ין of oo-VANE הַלָּ֑יְלָה the ha-LA-yeh-la וְהָי֤וּ heaven veh-ha-YOO לְאֹתֹת֙ to leh-oh-TOTE וּלְמ֣וֹעֲדִ֔ים divide oo-leh-MOH-uh-DEEM וּלְיָמִ֖ים oo-leh-ya-MEEM וְשָׁנִֽים׃ the veh-sha-NEEM -
וְהָי֤וּ let veh-ha-YOO לִמְאוֹרֹת֙ them leem-oh-ROTE בִּרְקִ֣יעַ be beer-KEE-ah הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם for ha-sha-MA-yeem לְהָאִ֖יר lights leh-ha-EER עַל in al הָאָ֑רֶץ the ha-AH-rets וַֽיְהִי firmament VA-hee כֵֽן׃ of hane -
וַיַּ֣עַשׂ God va-YA-as אֱלֹהִ֔ים made ay-loh-HEEM אֶת et שְׁנֵ֥י two sheh-NAY הַמְּאֹרֹ֖ת great ha-meh-oh-ROTE הַגְּדֹלִ֑ים lights; ha-ɡeh-doh-LEEM אֶת et הַמָּא֤וֹר the ha-ma-ORE הַגָּדֹל֙ greater ha-ɡa-DOLE לְמֶמְשֶׁ֣לֶת light leh-mem-SHEH-let הַיּ֔וֹם to HA-yome וְאֶת rule veh-ET הַמָּא֤וֹר the ha-ma-ORE הַקָּטֹן֙ day, ha-ka-TONE לְמֶמְשֶׁ֣לֶת and leh-mem-SHEH-let הַלַּ֔יְלָה the ha-LA-la וְאֵ֖ת lesser veh-ATE הַכּוֹכָבִֽים׃ light ha-koh-ha-VEEM -
וַיִּתֵּ֥ן God va-yee-TANE אֹתָ֛ם set oh-TAHM אֱלֹהִ֖ים them ay-loh-HEEM בִּרְקִ֣יעַ in beer-KEE-ah הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם the ha-sha-MA-yeem לְהָאִ֖יר firmament leh-ha-EER עַל of al הָאָֽרֶץ׃ the ha-AH-rets -
וְלִמְשֹׁל֙ to veh-leem-SHOLE בַּיּ֣וֹם rule BA-yome וּבַלַּ֔יְלָה over oo-va-LA-la וּֽלֲהַבְדִּ֔יל the oo-luh-hahv-DEEL בֵּ֥ין day bane הָא֖וֹר and ha-ORE וּבֵ֣ין over oo-VANE הַחֹ֑שֶׁךְ the ha-HOH-shek וַיַּ֥רְא night, va-YAHR אֱלֹהִ֖ים and ay-loh-HEEM כִּי to kee טֽוֹב׃ divide tove -
וַֽיְהִי the VA-hee עֶ֥רֶב evening EH-rev וַֽיְהִי and VA-hee בֹ֖קֶר the VOH-ker י֥וֹם morning yome רְבִיעִֽי׃ were reh-vee-EE -
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר God va-YOH-mer אֱלֹהִ֔ים said, ay-loh-HEEM יִשְׁרְצ֣וּ Let yeesh-reh-TSOO הַמַּ֔יִם the ha-MA-yeem שֶׁ֖רֶץ waters SHEH-rets נֶ֣פֶשׁ bring NEH-fesh חַיָּ֑ה forth ha-YA וְעוֹף֙ abundantly veh-OFE יְעוֹפֵ֣ף the yeh-oh-FAFE עַל moving al הָאָ֔רֶץ creature ha-AH-rets עַל that al פְּנֵ֖י hath peh-NAY רְקִ֥יעַ life, reh-KEE-ah הַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃ and ha-sha-MA-yeem -
וַיִּבְרָ֣א God va-yeev-RA אֱלֹהִ֔ים created ay-loh-HEEM אֶת et הַתַּנִּינִ֖ם great ha-ta-nee-NEEM הַגְּדֹלִ֑ים whales, ha-ɡeh-doh-LEEM וְאֵ֣ת and veh-ATE כָּל every kahl נֶ֣פֶשׁ living NEH-fesh הַֽחַיָּ֣ה׀ creature ha-ha-YA הָֽרֹמֶ֡שֶׂת that ha-roh-MEH-set אֲשֶׁר֩ moveth, uh-SHER שָׁרְצ֨וּ which shore-TSOO הַמַּ֜יִם the ha-MA-yeem לְמִֽינֵהֶ֗ם waters leh-mee-nay-HEM וְאֵ֨ת brought veh-ATE כָּל forth kahl ע֤וֹף abundantly, ofe כָּנָף֙ after ka-NAHF לְמִינֵ֔הוּ their leh-mee-NAY-hoo וַיַּ֥רְא kind, va-YAHR אֱלֹהִ֖ים and ay-loh-HEEM כִּי every kee טֽוֹב׃ winged tove -
וַיְבָ֧רֶךְ God vai-VA-rek אֹתָ֛ם blessed oh-TAHM אֱלֹהִ֖ים them, ay-loh-HEEM לֵאמֹ֑ר saying, lay-MORE פְּר֣וּ Be peh-ROO וּרְב֗וּ fruitful, oo-reh-VOO וּמִלְא֤וּ and oo-meel-OO אֶת multiply, et הַמַּ֙יִם֙ and ha-MA-YEEM בַּיַּמִּ֔ים fill ba-ya-MEEM וְהָע֖וֹף veh-ha-OFE יִ֥רֶב the YEE-rev בָּאָֽרֶץ׃ waters ba-AH-rets -
וַֽיְהִי the VA-hee עֶ֥רֶב evening EH-rev וַֽיְהִי and VA-hee בֹ֖קֶר the VOH-ker י֥וֹם morning yome חֲמִישִֽׁי׃ were huh-mee-SHEE -
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר God va-YOH-mer אֱלֹהִ֗ים said, ay-loh-HEEM תּוֹצֵ֨א Let toh-TSAY הָאָ֜רֶץ the ha-AH-rets נֶ֤פֶשׁ earth NEH-fesh חַיָּה֙ bring ha-YA לְמִינָ֔הּ forth leh-mee-NA בְּהֵמָ֥ה the beh-hay-MA וָרֶ֛מֶשׂ living va-REH-mes וְחַֽיְתוֹ creature veh-HA-toh אֶ֖רֶץ after EH-rets לְמִינָ֑הּ his leh-mee-NA וַֽיְהִי kind, VA-hee כֵֽן׃ cattle, hane -
וַיַּ֣עַשׂ God va-YA-as אֱלֹהִים֩ made ay-loh-HEEM אֶת et חַיַּ֨ת the ha-YAHT הָאָ֜רֶץ beast ha-AH-rets לְמִינָ֗הּ of leh-mee-NA וְאֶת the veh-ET הַבְּהֵמָה֙ earth ha-beh-hay-MA לְמִינָ֔הּ after leh-mee-NA וְאֵ֛ת his veh-ATE כָּל kind, kahl רֶ֥מֶשׂ and REH-mes הָֽאֲדָמָ֖ה cattle ha-uh-da-MA לְמִינֵ֑הוּ after leh-mee-NAY-hoo וַיַּ֥רְא their va-YAHR אֱלֹהִ֖ים kind, ay-loh-HEEM כִּי and kee טֽוֹב׃ every tove -
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר God va-YOH-mer אֱלֹהִ֔ים said, ay-loh-HEEM נַֽעֲשֶׂ֥ה Let na-uh-SEH אָדָ֛ם us ah-DAHM בְּצַלְמֵ֖נוּ make beh-tsahl-MAY-noo כִּדְמוּתֵ֑נוּ man keed-moo-TAY-noo וְיִרְדּוּ֩ in veh-yeer-DOO בִדְגַ֨ת our veed-ɡAHT הַיָּ֜ם image, ha-YAHM וּבְע֣וֹף after oo-veh-OFE הַשָּׁמַ֗יִם our ha-sha-MA-yeem וּבַבְּהֵמָה֙ likeness: oo-va-beh-hay-MA וּבְכָל and oo-veh-HAHL הָאָ֔רֶץ let ha-AH-rets וּבְכָל them oo-veh-HAHL הָרֶ֖מֶשׂ have ha-REH-mes הָֽרֹמֵ֥שׂ dominion ha-roh-MASE עַל over al הָאָֽרֶץ׃ the ha-AH-rets -
וַיִּבְרָ֨א God va-yeev-RA אֱלֹהִ֤ים׀ created ay-loh-HEEM אֶת et הָֽאָדָם֙ man ha-ah-DAHM בְּצַלְמ֔וֹ in beh-tsahl-MOH בְּצֶ֥לֶם his beh-TSEH-lem אֱלֹהִ֖ים own ay-loh-HEEM בָּרָ֣א image, ba-RA אֹת֑וֹ in oh-TOH זָכָ֥ר the za-HAHR וּנְקֵבָ֖ה image oo-neh-kay-VA בָּרָ֥א of ba-RA אֹתָֽם׃ God oh-TAHM -
וַיְבָ֣רֶךְ God vai-VA-rek אֹתָם֮ blessed oh-TAHM אֱלֹהִים֒ them, ay-loh-HEEM וַיֹּ֨אמֶר and va-YOH-mer לָהֶ֜ם God la-HEM אֱלֹהִ֗ים said ay-loh-HEEM פְּר֥וּ unto peh-ROO וּרְב֛וּ them, oo-reh-VOO וּמִלְא֥וּ Be oo-meel-OO אֶת fruitful, et הָאָ֖רֶץ and ha-AH-rets וְכִבְשֻׁ֑הָ multiply, veh-heev-SHOO-ha וּרְד֞וּ and oo-reh-DOO בִּדְגַ֤ת replenish beed-ɡAHT הַיָּם֙ ha-YAHM וּבְע֣וֹף the oo-veh-OFE הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם earth, ha-sha-MA-yeem וּבְכָל and oo-veh-HAHL חַיָּ֖ה subdue ha-YA הָֽרֹמֶ֥שֶׂת it: ha-roh-MEH-set עַל and al הָאָֽרֶץ׃ have ha-AH-rets -
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר God va-YOH-mer אֱלֹהִ֗ים said, ay-loh-HEEM הִנֵּה֩ Behold, hee-NAY נָתַ֨תִּי I na-TA-tee לָכֶ֜ם have la-HEM אֶת given et כָּל you kahl עֵ֣שֶׂב׀ A-sev זֹרֵ֣עַ every zoh-RAY-ah זֶ֗רַע herb ZEH-ra אֲשֶׁר֙ bearing uh-SHER עַל seed, al פְּנֵ֣י which peh-NAY כָל is hahl הָאָ֔רֶץ upon ha-AH-rets וְאֶת the veh-ET כָּל face kahl הָעֵ֛ץ of ha-AYTS אֲשֶׁר all uh-SHER בּ֥וֹ the boh פְרִי earth, feh-REE עֵ֖ץ and ayts זֹרֵ֣עַ every zoh-RAY-ah זָ֑רַע tree, ZA-ra לָכֶ֥ם in la-HEM יִֽהְיֶ֖ה the yee-heh-YEH לְאָכְלָֽה׃ which leh-oke-LA -
וּֽלְכָל to OO-leh-hole חַיַּ֣ת every ha-YAHT הָ֠אָרֶץ beast HA-ah-rets וּלְכָל of oo-leh-HAHL ע֨וֹף the ofe הַשָּׁמַ֜יִם earth, ha-sha-MA-yeem וּלְכֹ֣ל׀ and oo-leh-HOLE רוֹמֵ֣שׂ to roh-MASE עַל every al הָאָ֗רֶץ fowl ha-AH-rets אֲשֶׁר of uh-SHER בּוֹ֙ the boh נֶ֣פֶשׁ air, NEH-fesh חַיָּ֔ה and ha-YA אֶת to et כָּל every kahl יֶ֥רֶק thing YEH-rek עֵ֖שֶׂב that A-sev לְאָכְלָ֑ה creepeth leh-oke-LA וַֽיְהִי upon VA-hee כֵֽן׃ the hane -
וַיַּ֤רְא God va-YAHR אֱלֹהִים֙ saw ay-loh-HEEM אֶת et כָּל every kahl אֲשֶׁ֣ר thing uh-SHER עָשָׂ֔ה that ah-SA וְהִנֵּה he veh-hee-NAY ט֖וֹב had tove מְאֹ֑ד made, meh-ODE וַֽיְהִי and, VA-hee עֶ֥רֶב behold, EH-rev וַֽיְהִי it VA-hee בֹ֖קֶר was VOH-ker י֥וֹם very yome הַשִּׁשִּֽׁי׃ good. ha-shee-SHEE
