నీ తండ్రియైన దావీదు నడచినట్లుగా నీవును నా కనుకూల వర్తనుడవై నడచి, నేను నీకాజ్ఞాపించిన దానియంతటి ప్రకారముచేసి, నా కట్టడలను నా న్యాయ విధులను అనుసరించినయెడల

| thou wilt walk | תֵּלֵ֣ךְ | tēlēk | tay-LAKE |
| before | לְפָנַ֗י | lĕpānay | leh-fa-NAI |
| me, as | כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֤ר | kaʾăšer | ka-uh-SHER |
| David | הָלַךְ֙ | hālak | ha-lahk |
| thy father | דָּוִ֣יד | dāwîd | da-VEED |
| walked, | אָבִ֔יךָ | ʾābîkā | ah-VEE-ha |
| do and | וְלַֽעֲשׂ֕וֹת | wĕlaʿăśôt | veh-la-uh-SOTE |
| according to all | כְּכֹ֖ל | kĕkōl | keh-HOLE |
| that | אֲשֶׁ֣ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| commanded have I | צִוִּיתִ֑יךָ | ṣiwwîtîkā | tsee-wee-TEE-ha |
| observe shalt and thee, | וְחֻקַּ֥י | wĕḥuqqay | veh-hoo-KAI |
| my statutes | וּמִשְׁפָּטַ֖י | ûmišpāṭay | oo-meesh-pa-TAI |
| and my judgments; | תִּשְׁמֽוֹר׃ | tišmôr | teesh-MORE |
