దినవృత్తాంతములు రెండవ గ్రంథము 14:8
ఆ కాలమున డాళ్లను ఈటెలను పట్టుకొను మూడు లక్షలమంది యూదావారును, కేడెములు ధరించివిల్లువేయు రెండు లక్షల ఎనుబది వేలమంది బెన్యామీనీ యులును కూడిన సైన్యము ఆసాకు ఉండెను; వీరందరును పరాక్రమశాలులై యుండిరి.

And Asa	וַיְהִ֣י	wayhî	vai-HEE
had	לְאָסָ֗א	lĕʾāsāʾ	leh-ah-SA
an army	חַיִל֮	ḥayil	ha-YEEL
bare that men of	נֹשֵׂ֣א	nōśēʾ	noh-SAY
targets	צִנָּ֣ה	ṣinnâ	tsee-NA
spears, and	וָרֹמַח֒	wārōmaḥ	va-roh-MAHK
out of Judah	מִֽיהוּדָה֙	mîhûdāh	mee-hoo-DA
three	שְׁלֹ֣שׁ	šĕlōš	sheh-LOHSH
hundred	מֵא֣וֹת	mēʾôt	may-OTE
thousand;	אֶ֔לֶף	ʾelep	EH-lef
Benjamin, of out and	וּמִבִּנְיָמִ֗ן	ûmibbinyāmin	oo-mee-been-ya-MEEN
that bare	נֹֽשְׂאֵ֤י	nōśĕʾê	noh-seh-A
shields	מָגֵן֙	māgēn	ma-ɡANE
drew and	וְדֹ֣רְכֵי	wĕdōrĕkê	veh-DOH-reh-hay
bows,	קֶ֔שֶׁת	qešet	KEH-shet
two hundred	מָאתַ֥יִם	māʾtayim	ma-TA-yeem
fourscore and	וּשְׁמוֹנִ֖ים	ûšĕmônîm	oo-sheh-moh-NEEM
thousand:	אָ֑לֶף	ʾālep	AH-lef
all	כָּל	kāl	kahl
these	אֵ֖לֶּה	ʾēlle	A-leh
were mighty men	גִּבּ֥וֹרֵי	gibbôrê	ɡEE-boh-ray
of valour.	חָֽיִל׃	ḥāyil	HA-yeel
