הַדָּבָ֛ר word ha-da-VAHR אֲשֶׁר which uh-SHER הָיָ֥ה came ha-YA אֶֽל unto el יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ Jeremiah yeer-meh-YA-hoo מֵאֵ֣ת from may-ATE יְהוָ֑ה the yeh-VA בִּימֵ֨י Lord bee-MAY יְהוֹיָקִ֧ים in yeh-hoh-ya-KEEM בֶּן the ben יֹאשִׁיָּ֛הוּ days yoh-shee-YA-hoo מֶ֥לֶךְ of MEH-lek יְהוּדָ֖ה Jehoiakim yeh-hoo-DA לֵאמֹֽר׃ the lay-MORE -
הָלוֹךְ֮ unto ha-loke אֶל the el בֵּ֣ית house bate הָרֵכָבִים֒ of ha-ray-ha-VEEM וְדִבַּרְתָּ֣ the veh-dee-bahr-TA אוֹתָ֔ם Rechabites, oh-TAHM וַהֲבִֽאוֹתָם֙ and va-huh-vee-oh-TAHM בֵּ֣ית speak bate יְהוָ֔ה unto yeh-VA אֶל them, el אַחַ֖ת and ah-HAHT הַלְּשָׁכ֑וֹת bring ha-leh-sha-HOTE וְהִשְׁקִיתָ֥ them veh-heesh-kee-TA אוֹתָ֖ם into oh-TAHM יָֽיִן׃ the YA-yeen -
וָאֶקַּ֞ח I va-eh-KAHK אֶת took et יַאֲזַנְיָ֤ה ya-uh-zahn-YA בֶֽן Jaazaniah ven יִרְמְיָ֙הוּ֙ the yeer-meh-YA-HOO בֶּן son ben חֲבַצִּנְיָ֔ה of huh-va-tseen-YA וְאֶת Jeremiah, veh-ET אֶחָ֖יו the eh-HAV וְאֶת son veh-ET כָּל of kahl בָּנָ֑יו Habaziniah, ba-NAV וְאֵ֖ת and veh-ATE כָּל his kahl בֵּ֥ית brethren, bate הָרֵכָבִֽים׃ and ha-ray-ha-VEEM -
וָאָבִ֤א I va-ah-VEE אֹתָם֙ brought oh-TAHM בֵּ֣ית them bate יְהוָ֔ה into yeh-VA אֶל the el לִשְׁכַּ֗ת house leesh-KAHT בְּנֵ֛י of beh-NAY חָנָ֥ן the ha-NAHN בֶּן Lord, ben יִגְדַּלְיָ֖הוּ into yeeɡ-dahl-YA-hoo אִ֣ישׁ the eesh הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים chamber ha-ay-loh-HEEM אֲשֶׁר of uh-SHER אֵ֙צֶל֙ the A-TSEL לִשְׁכַּ֣ת sons leesh-KAHT הַשָּׂרִ֔ים of ha-sa-REEM אֲשֶׁ֣ר Hanan, uh-SHER מִמַּ֗עַל the mee-MA-al לְלִשְׁכַּ֛ת son leh-leesh-KAHT מַעֲשֵׂיָ֥הוּ of ma-uh-say-YA-hoo בֶן Igdaliah, ven שַׁלֻּ֖ם a sha-LOOM שֹׁמֵ֥ר man shoh-MARE הַסַּֽף׃ of ha-SAHF -
וָאֶתֵּ֞ן I va-eh-TANE לִפְנֵ֣י׀ set leef-NAY בְּנֵ֣י before beh-NAY בֵית the vate הָרֵכָבִ֗ים sons ha-ray-ha-VEEM גְּבִעִ֛ים of ɡeh-vee-EEM מְלֵאִ֥ים the meh-lay-EEM יַ֖יִן house YA-yeen וְכֹס֑וֹת of veh-hoh-SOTE וָאֹמַ֥ר the va-oh-MAHR אֲלֵיהֶ֖ם Rechabites uh-lay-HEM שְׁתוּ pots sheh-TOO יָֽיִן׃ full YA-yeen -
וַיֹּאמְר֖וּ they va-yoh-meh-ROO לֹ֣א said, loh נִשְׁתֶּה We neesh-TEH יָּ֑יִן will YA-yeen כִּי֩ drink kee יוֹנָדָ֨ב no yoh-na-DAHV בֶּן wine: ben רֵכָ֜ב for ray-HAHV אָבִ֗ינוּ Jonadab ah-VEE-noo צִוָּ֤ה the tsee-WA עָלֵ֙ינוּ֙ son ah-LAY-NOO לֵאמֹ֔ר of lay-MORE לֹ֧א Rechab loh תִשְׁתּוּ our teesh-TOO יַ֛יִן father YA-yeen אַתֶּ֥ם commanded ah-TEM וּבְנֵיכֶ֖ם oo-veh-nay-HEM עַד us, ad עוֹלָֽם׃ saying, oh-LAHM -
וּבַ֣יִת shall oo-VA-yeet לֹֽא ye loh תִבְנ֗וּ build teev-NOO וְזֶ֤רַע house, veh-ZEH-ra לֹֽא nor loh תִזְרָ֙עוּ֙ sow teez-RA-OO וְכֶ֣רֶם seed, veh-HEH-rem לֹֽא nor loh תִטָּ֔עוּ plant tee-TA-oo וְלֹ֥א vineyard, veh-LOH יִֽהְיֶ֖ה nor yee-heh-YEH לָכֶ֑ם have la-HEM כִּ֠י any: kee בָּאֳהָלִ֤ים but ba-oh-ha-LEEM תֵּֽשְׁבוּ֙ all tay-sheh-VOO כָּל your kahl יְמֵיכֶ֔ם days yeh-may-HEM לְמַ֨עַן ye leh-MA-an תִּֽחְי֜וּ shall tee-heh-YOO יָמִ֤ים dwell ya-MEEM רַבִּים֙ in ra-BEEM עַל tents; al פְּנֵ֣י that peh-NAY הָאֲדָמָ֔ה ye ha-uh-da-MA אֲשֶׁ֥ר may uh-SHER אַתֶּ֖ם live ah-TEM גָּרִ֥ים many ɡa-REEM שָֽׁם׃ days shahm -
וַנִּשְׁמַ֗ע have va-neesh-MA בְּק֨וֹל we beh-KOLE יְהוֹנָדָ֤ב obeyed yeh-hoh-na-DAHV בֶּן the ben רֵכָב֙ voice ray-HAHV אָבִ֔ינוּ of ah-VEE-noo לְכֹ֖ל Jonadab leh-HOLE אֲשֶׁ֣ר the uh-SHER צִוָּ֑נוּ son tsee-WA-noo לְבִלְתִּ֤י of leh-veel-TEE שְׁתֽוֹת Rechab sheh-TOTE יַ֙יִן֙ our YA-YEEN כָּל father kahl יָמֵ֔ינוּ in ya-MAY-noo אֲנַ֣חְנוּ all uh-NAHK-noo נָשֵׁ֔ינוּ that na-SHAY-noo בָּנֵ֖ינוּ he ba-NAY-noo וּבְנֹתֵֽינוּ׃ hath oo-veh-noh-TAY-noo -
וּלְבִלְתִּ֛י to oo-leh-veel-TEE בְּנ֥וֹת build beh-NOTE בָּתִּ֖ים houses boh-TEEM לְשִׁבְתֵּ֑נוּ for leh-sheev-TAY-noo וְכֶ֧רֶם us veh-HEH-rem וְשָׂדֶ֛ה to veh-sa-DEH וָזֶ֖רַע dwell va-ZEH-ra לֹ֥א in: loh יִֽהְיֶה neither YEE-heh-yeh לָּֽנוּ׃ have la-NOO -
וַנֵּ֖שֶׁב we va-NAY-shev בָּֽאֳהָלִ֑ים have ba-oh-ha-LEEM וַנִּשְׁמַ֣ע dwelt va-neesh-MA וַנַּ֔עַשׂ in va-NA-as כְּכֹ֥ל tents, keh-HOLE אֲשֶׁר and uh-SHER צִוָּ֖נוּ have tsee-WA-noo יוֹנָדָ֥ב obeyed, yoh-na-DAHV אָבִֽינוּ׃ and ah-VEE-noo -
וַיְהִ֗י it vai-HEE בַּעֲל֨וֹת came ba-uh-LOTE נְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֥ר to neh-voo-hahd-reh-TSAHR מֶֽלֶךְ pass, MEH-lek בָּבֶל֮ when ba-VEL אֶל Nebuchadrezzar el הָאָרֶץ֒ king ha-ah-RETS וַנֹּ֗אמֶר of va-NOH-mer בֹּ֚אוּ Babylon BOH-oo וְנָב֣וֹא came veh-na-VOH יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם up yeh-roo-sha-la-EEM מִפְּנֵי֙ into mee-peh-NAY חֵ֣יל the hale הַכַּשְׂדִּ֔ים land, ha-kahs-DEEM וּמִפְּנֵ֖י that oo-mee-peh-NAY חֵ֣יל we hale אֲרָ֑ם said, uh-RAHM וַנֵּ֖שֶׁב Come, va-NAY-shev בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ and bee-roo-sha-loh-EEM -
וַֽיְהִי֙ came va-HEE דְּבַר the deh-VAHR יְהוָ֔ה word yeh-VA אֶֽל of el יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ the yeer-meh-YA-hoo לֵאמֹֽר׃ Lord lay-MORE -
כֹּֽה saith koh אָמַ֞ר the ah-MAHR יְהוָ֤ה Lord yeh-VA צְבָאוֹת֙ of tseh-va-OTE אֱלֹהֵ֣י hosts, ay-loh-HAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל the yees-ra-ALE הָלֹ֤ךְ God ha-LOKE וְאָֽמַרְתָּ֙ of veh-ah-mahr-TA לְאִ֣ישׁ Israel; leh-EESH יְהוּדָ֔ה Go yeh-hoo-DA וּלְיֽוֹשְׁבֵ֖י and oo-leh-yoh-sheh-VAY יְרֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם tell yeh-roo-sha-la-EEM הֲל֨וֹא the huh-LOH תִקְח֥וּ men teek-HOO מוּסָ֛ר of moo-SAHR לִשְׁמֹ֥עַ Judah leesh-MOH-ah אֶל and el דְּבָרַ֖י the deh-va-RAI נְאֻם inhabitants neh-OOM יְהוָֽה׃ of yeh-VA -
הוּקַ֡ם The hoo-KAHM אֶת words et דִּבְרֵ֣י of deev-RAY יְהוֹנָדָ֣ב Jonadab yeh-hoh-na-DAHV בֶּן the ben רֵ֠כָב son RAY-hove אֲשֶׁר of uh-SHER צִוָּ֨ה Rechab, tsee-WA אֶת that et בָּנָ֜יו he ba-NAV לְבִלְתִּ֣י commanded leh-veel-TEE שְׁתֽוֹת sheh-TOTE יַ֗יִן his YA-yeen וְלֹ֤א sons veh-LOH שָׁתוּ֙ not sha-TOO עַד to ad הַיּ֣וֹם drink HA-yome הַזֶּ֔ה wine, ha-ZEH כִּ֣י are kee שָֽׁמְע֔וּ performed; sha-meh-OO אֵ֖ת for ate מִצְוַ֣ת unto meets-VAHT אֲבִיהֶ֑ם this uh-vee-HEM וְאָ֨נֹכִ֜י day veh-AH-noh-HEE דִּבַּ֤רְתִּי they dee-BAHR-tee אֲלֵיכֶם֙ drink uh-lay-HEM הַשְׁכֵּ֣ם none, hahsh-KAME וְדַבֵּ֔ר but veh-da-BARE וְלֹ֥א obey veh-LOH שְׁמַעְתֶּ֖ם sheh-ma-TEM אֵלָֽי׃ their ay-LAI -
וָאֶשְׁלַ֣ח have va-esh-LAHK אֲלֵיכֶ֣ם sent uh-lay-HEM אֶת also et כָּל unto kahl עֲבָדַ֣י you uh-va-DAI הַנְּבִאִ֣ים׀ ha-neh-vee-EEM הַשְׁכֵּ֣ם all hahsh-KAME וְשָׁלֹ֣חַ׀ my veh-sha-LOH-ak לֵאמֹ֡ר servants lay-MORE שֻׁבוּ the shoo-VOO נָ֡א prophets, na אִישׁ֩ rising eesh מִדַּרְכּ֨וֹ up mee-dahr-KOH הָרָעָ֜ה early ha-ra-AH וְהֵיטִ֣יבוּ and veh-hay-TEE-voo מַֽעַלְלֵיכֶ֗ם sending ma-al-lay-HEM וְאַל them, veh-AL תֵּ֨לְכ֜וּ saying, TAY-leh-HOO אַחֲרֵ֨י Return ah-huh-RAY אֱלֹהִ֤ים ye ay-loh-HEEM אֲחֵרִים֙ now uh-hay-REEM לְעָבְדָ֔ם every leh-ove-DAHM וּשְׁבוּ֙ man oo-sheh-VOO אֶל from el הָ֣אֲדָמָ֔ה his HA-uh-da-MA אֲשֶׁר evil uh-SHER נָתַ֥תִּי way, na-TA-tee לָכֶ֖ם and la-HEM וְלַאֲבֹֽתֵיכֶ֑ם amend veh-la-uh-voh-tay-HEM וְלֹ֤א your veh-LOH הִטִּיתֶם֙ doings, hee-tee-TEM אֶֽת and et אָזְנְכֶ֔ם go oze-neh-HEM וְלֹ֥א not veh-LOH שְׁמַעְתֶּ֖ם after sheh-ma-TEM אֵלָֽי׃ other ay-LAI -
כִּ֣י the kee הֵקִ֗ימוּ sons hay-KEE-moo בְּנֵי֙ of beh-NAY יְהוֹנָדָ֣ב Jonadab yeh-hoh-na-DAHV בֶּן the ben רֵכָ֔ב son ray-HAHV אֶת of et מִצְוַ֥ת Rechab meets-VAHT אֲבִיהֶ֖ם have uh-vee-HEM אֲשֶׁ֣ר performed uh-SHER צִוָּ֑ם tsee-WAHM וְהָעָ֣ם the veh-ha-AM הַזֶּ֔ה commandment ha-ZEH לֹ֥א of loh שָׁמְע֖וּ their shome-OO אֵלָֽי׃ father, ay-LAI -
לָ֠כֵן thus LA-hane כֹּֽה saith koh אָמַ֨ר the ah-MAHR יְהוָ֜ה Lord yeh-VA אֱלֹהֵ֤י God ay-loh-HAY צְבָאוֹת֙ of tseh-va-OTE אֱלֹהֵ֣י hosts, ay-loh-HAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל the yees-ra-ALE הִנְנִ֧י God heen-NEE מֵבִ֣יא of may-VEE אֶל Israel; el יְהוּדָ֗ה Behold, yeh-hoo-DA וְאֶ֤ל I veh-EL כָּל will kahl יֽוֹשְׁבֵי֙ bring yoh-sheh-VAY יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם upon yeh-ROO-sha-la-EEM אֵ֚ת Judah ate כָּל and kahl הָ֣רָעָ֔ה upon HA-ra-AH אֲשֶׁ֥ר all uh-SHER דִּבַּ֖רְתִּי the dee-BAHR-tee עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם inhabitants uh-lay-HEM יַ֣עַן of YA-an דִּבַּ֤רְתִּי Jerusalem dee-BAHR-tee אֲלֵיהֶם֙ uh-lay-HEM וְלֹ֣א all veh-LOH שָׁמֵ֔עוּ the sha-MAY-oo וָאֶקְרָ֥א evil va-ek-RA לָהֶ֖ם that la-HEM וְלֹ֥א I veh-LOH עָנֽוּ׃ have ah-NOO -
וּלְבֵ֨ית Jeremiah oo-leh-VATE הָרֵכָבִ֜ים said ha-ray-ha-VEEM אָמַ֣ר unto ah-MAHR יִרְמְיָ֗הוּ the yeer-meh-YA-hoo כֹּֽה house koh אָמַ֞ר of ah-MAHR יְהוָ֤ה the yeh-VA צְבָאוֹת֙ Rechabites, tseh-va-OTE אֱלֹהֵ֣י Thus ay-loh-HAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל saith yees-ra-ALE יַ֚עַן the YA-an אֲשֶׁ֣ר Lord uh-SHER שְׁמַעְתֶּ֔ם of sheh-ma-TEM עַל hosts, al מִצְוַ֖ת the meets-VAHT יְהוֹנָדָ֣ב God yeh-hoh-na-DAHV אֲבִיכֶ֑ם of uh-vee-HEM וַֽתִּשְׁמְרוּ֙ Israel; va-teesh-meh-ROO אֶת Because et כָּל kahl מִצְוֹתָ֔יו ye mee-ts-oh-TAV וַֽתַּעֲשׂ֔וּ have va-ta-uh-SOO כְּכֹ֥ל obeyed keh-HOLE אֲשֶׁר uh-SHER צִוָּ֖ה the tsee-WA אֶתְכֶֽם׃ commandment et-HEM -
לָכֵ֗ן thus la-HANE כֹּ֥ה saith koh אָמַ֛ר the ah-MAHR יְהוָ֥ה Lord yeh-VA צְבָא֖וֹת of tseh-va-OTE אֱלֹהֵ֣י hosts, ay-loh-HAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל the yees-ra-ALE לֹֽא God loh יִכָּרֵ֨ת of yee-ka-RATE אִ֜ישׁ Israel; eesh לְיוֹנָדָ֧ב Jonadab leh-yoh-na-DAHV בֶּן the ben רֵכָ֛ב son ray-HAHV עֹמֵ֥ד of oh-MADE לְפָנַ֖י Rechab leh-fa-NAI כָּל shall kahl הַיָּמִֽים׃ not ha-ya-MEEM
