Exodus 32:1
మాషే కొండదిగకుండ తడవుచేయుట ప్రజలు చూచినప్పుడు ఆ ప్రజలు అహరోనునొద్దకు కూడి వచ్చిలెమ్ము, మా ముందర నడుచుటకు ఒక దేవతను మాకొరకు చేయుము. ఐగుప్తులోనుండి మమ్మును రప్పించిన ఆ మోషే అనువాడు ఏమాయెనో మాకు తెలియదని అతనితో చెప్పిరి.

మోషే తన దేవుడైన యెహోవాను బ్రతిమాలుకొనియెహోవా, నీవు మహాశక్తివలన బాహుబలము వలన ఐగుప్తు దేశములోనుండి రప్పించిన నీ ప్రజలమీద నీ కోపము మండనేల?

మీరు లోబడనొల్లని ప్రజలు గనుక నేను మీతో కూడ రాను; త్రోవలో మిమ్మును సంహరించెద నేమో అని మోషేతో చెప్పెను.
