దావీదును ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరును సరళవృక్షపు కఱ్ఱతో చేయబడిన నానావిధములైన సితారాలను స్వర మండలములను తంబురలను మృదంగములను పెద్ద తాళము లను వాయించుచు యెహోవా సన్నిధిని నాట్యమాడుచుండిరి.

రాజా, తాము ఒక కట్టడ నియమించితిరి; ఏదనగా బాకాను పిల్లంగ్రోవిని పెద్దవీణను వీణను విపంచికను సుంఫోనీయను సకల విధములగు వాద్యధ్వనులను విను ప్రతివాడు సాగిలపడి ఆ బంగారు ప్రతిమకు నమస్కారము చేయవలెను.
