తరువాత యెహూ జనులందరిని సమకూర్చి వారికీలాగు ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చెను అహాబు బయలు దేవతకు కొద్ది గానే పూజచేసెను. యెహూ అను నేను అధికముగా పూజచేయబోవుచున్నాను,

అప్పుడు ఏలీయాఒకనినైన తప్పించు కొని పోనియ్యక బయలు ప్రవక్తలను పట్టుకొనుడని వారికి సెలవియ్యగా జనులు వారిని పట్టుకొనిరి. ఏలీయా కీషోను వాగు దగ్గరకు వారిని కొనిపోయి అక్కడ వారిని వధించెను.
