1 Then what advantage does the Jew have? Or what is the profit of circumcision?అట్లయితే యూదునికి కలిగిన గొప్పతనమేమి? సున్నతి వలన ప్రయోజనమేమి?

2 Much in every way! Because first of all, they were entrusted with the oracles of God.ప్రతివిషయమందును అధికమే. మొదటిది, దేవోక్తులు యూదుల పరము చేయబడెను.

3 For what if some were without faith? Will their lack of faith nullify the faithfulness of God?కొందరు అవిశ్వాసులైన నేమి? వారు అవిశ్వాసులైనందున దేవుడు నమ్మతగినవాడు కాక పోవునా? అట్లనరాదు.

4 May it never be! Yes, let God be found true, but every man a liar. As it is written, "That you might be justified in your words, And might prevail when you come into judgment."నీ మాటలలో నీవు నీతిమంతుడవుగా తీర్చబడునట్లునునీవు వ్యాజ్యెమాడునప్పుడు గెలుచునట్లును. అని వ్రాయబడిన ప్రకారము ప్రతి మనుష్యుడును అబద్ధికుడగును గాని దేవుడు సత్యవంతుడు కాక తీరడు.

5 But if our unrighteousness commends the righteousness of God, what will we say? Is God unrighteous who inflicts wrath? I speak like men do.మన దుర్నీతి దేవుని నీతికి ప్రసిద్ధి కలుగజేసిన యెడల ఏమందుము? ఉగ్రతను చూపించు దేవుడు అన్యాయస్థు డగునా? నేను మనుష్యరీతిగా మాటలాడు చున్నాను;

6 May it never be! For then how will God judge the world?అట్లనరాదు. అట్లయిన యెడల దేవుడు లోకమునకు ఎట్లు తీర్పు తీర్చును?

7 For if the truth of God through my lie abounded to his glory, why am I also still judged as a sinner?దేవునికి మహిమ కలుగునట్లు నా అసత్యమువలన దేవుని సత్యము ప్రబలినయెడల నేనికను పాపినైనట్టు తీర్పు పొందనేల?

8 Why not (as we are slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say), "Let us do evil, that good may come?" Those who say so are justly condemned.మేలు కలుగుటకు కీడు చేయుదమని మేము చెప్పుచున్నామని, కొందరు మమ్మును దూషించి చెప్పు ప్రకారము మేమెందుకు చెప్పరాదు? అట్టివారికి కలుగు శిక్షావిధి న్యాయమే.

9 What then? Are we better than they? No, in no way. For we previously charged both Jews and Greeks, that they are all under sin.ఆలాగైన ఏమందుము? మేము వారికంటె శ్రేష్ఠులమా? తక్కువవారమా? ఎంతమాత్రమును కాము. యూదులేమి గ్రీసుదేశస్థులేమి అందరును పాపమునకు లోనైయున్నారని యింతకుముందు దోషారోపణ చేసియున్నాము.

10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous. No, not one.ఇందునుగూర్చి వ్రాయబడినదేమనగా నీతిమంతుడు లేడు, ఒక్కడును లేడు

11 There is no one who understands. There is no one who seeks after God.గ్రహించువాడెవడును లేడు దేవుని వెదకువాడెవడును లేడు

12 They have all turned aside. They have together become unprofitable. There is no one who does good, No, not, so much as one."అందరును త్రోవ తప్పి యేకముగా పనికిమాలినవారైరి.మేలుచేయువాడు లేడు, ఒక్కడైనను లేడు.

13 "Their throat is an open tomb. With their tongues they have used deceit." "The poison of vipers is under their lips;"వారి గొంతుక తెరచిన సమాధి, తమ నాలుకతో మోసము చేయుదురు;వారి పెదవుల క్రింద సర్పవిషమున్నది

14 "Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness."వారి నోటినిండ శపించుటయు పగయు ఉన్నవి.

15 "Their feet are swift to shed blood.రక్తము చిందించుటకు వారి పాదములు పరుగెత్తు చున్నవి.

16 Destruction and misery are in their ways.నాశనమును కష్టమును వారి మార్గములలో ఉన్నవి.

17 The way of peace, they haven't known."శాంతిమార్గము వారెరుగరు.

18 "There is no fear of God before their eyes."వారి కన్నుల యెదుట దేవుని భయము లేదు.

19 Now we know that whatever things the law says, it speaks to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be closed, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God.ప్రతి నోరు మూయబడునట్లును, సర్వలోకము దేవుని శిక్షకు పాత్రమగునట్లును, ధర్మశాస్త్రము చెప్పుచున్న వాటినన్నిటిని ధర్మశాస్త్రమునకు లోనైనవారితో చెప్పు చున్నదని యెరుగుదుము.

20 Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight. For through the law comes the knowledge of sin.ఏలయనగా ధర్మశాస్త్ర సంబంధమైన క్రియలమూలముగా ఏ మనుష్యుడును ఆయన దృష్టికి నీతిమంతుడని తీర్చబడడు; ధర్మశాస్త్రమువలన పాపమనగా ఎట్టిదో తెలియబడుచున్నది.

21 But now apart from the law, a righteousness of God has been revealed, being testified by the law and the prophets;ఇట్లుండగా ధర్మశాస్త్రమునకు వేరుగా దేవుని నీతిబయలుపడుచున్నది; దానికి ధర్మశాస్త్రమును ప్రవక్తలును సాక్ష్యమిచ్చుచున్నారు.

22 even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ to all and on all those who believe. For there is no distinction,అది యేసుక్రీస్తునందలి విశ్వాసమూలమైనదై,నమ్ము వారందరికి కలుగు దేవుని నీతియైయున్నది.

23 for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;ఏ భేదమును లేదు; అందరును పాపముచేసి దేవుడు అను గ్రహించు మహిమను పొందలేక పోవుచున్నారు.

24 being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus;కాబట్టి నమ్మువారు ఆయన కృపచేతనే, క్రీస్తుయేసునందలి విమోచనము ద్వారా ఉచితముగా నీతిమంతులని తీర్చబడు చున్నారు.

25 whom God set forth to be an atoning sacrifice{or, a propitiation}, through faith in his blood, for a demonstration of his righteousness through the passing over of prior sins, in God's forbearance;పూర్వము చేయబడిన పాపములను దేవుడు తన ఓరిమివలన ఉపేక్షించినందున, ఆయన తన నీతిని కనువరచవలెనని

26 to demonstrate his righteousness at this present time; that he might himself be just, and the justifier of him who has faith in Jesus.క్రీస్తుయేసు రక్తమునందలి విశ్వాసము ద్వారా ఆయనను కరుణాధారముగా బయలుపరచెను. దేవుడిప్పటి కాలమందు తన నీతిని కనబరచునిమిత్తము, తాను నీతిమంతుడును యేసునందు విశ్వాసముగలవానిని నీతిమంతునిగా తీర్చువాడునై యుండుటకు ఆయన ఆలాగు చేసెను.

27 Where then is the boasting? It is excluded. By what manner of law? Of works? No, but by a law of faith.కాబట్టి అతిశయకారణ మెక్కడ? అది కొట్టి వేయ బడెను. ఎట్టి న్యాయమునుబట్టి అది కొట్టి వేయబడెను? క్రియాన్యాయమును బట్టియా? కాదు, విశ్వాస న్యాయమును బట్టియే.

28 We maintain therefore that a man is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.కాగా ధర్మశాస్త్ర సంబంధమైన క్రియలు లేకుండ విశ్వాసమువలననే మనుష్యులు నీతి మంతులుగా తీర్చబడుచున్నారని యెంచుచున్నాము.

29 Or is God the God of Jews only? Isn't he the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also,దేవుడు యూదులకు మాత్రమే దేవుడా? అన్యజనులకు దేవుడు కాడా? అవును, అన్యజనులకును దేవుడే.

30 since indeed there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith, and the uncircumcised through faith.దేవుడు ఒకడే గనుక, ఆయన సున్నతి గలవారిని విశ్వాస మూలముగాను, సున్నతి లేనివారిని విశ్వాసముద్వారాను, నీతిమంతులనుగా తీర్చును.

31 Do we then nullify the law through faith? May it never be! No, we establish the law.విశ్వాసముద్వారా ధర్మశాస్త్ర మును నిరర్థకము చేయుచున్నామా? అట్లనరాదు; ధర్మ శాస్త్రమును స్థిరపరచుచున్నాము.
