Proverbs 6 - ASV (Telugu)

1 My son, if thou art become surety for thy neighbor, If thou hast stricken thy hands for a stranger;నా కుమారుడా, నీ చెలికానికొరకు పూటపడిన యెడల పరునిచేతిలో నీవు నీ చేయి వేసినయెడల

2 Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, Thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.నీ నోటి మాటలవలన నీవు చిక్కుబడియున్నావు నీ నోటి మాటలవలన పట్టబడియున్నావు

3 Do this now, my son, and deliver thyself, Seeing thou art come into the hand of thy neighbor: Go, humble thyself, and importune thy neighbor;నా కుమారుడా, నీ చెలికానిచేత చిక్కుబడితివి. నీవు త్వరపడి వెళ్లి విడిచిపెట్టుమని నీ చెలికానిని బలవంతము చేయుము.

4 Give not sleep to thine eyes, Nor slumber to thine eyelids;ఈలాగు చేసి తప్పించుకొనుము నీ కన్నులకు నిద్రయైనను నీ కనురెప్పలకు కునుకుపాటైనను రానియ్యకుము.

5 Deliver thyself as a roe from the hand `of the hunter', And as a bird from the hand of the fowler.వేటకాని చేతినుండి లేడి తప్పించుకొనునట్లును ఎరుకువాని చేతినుండి పక్షి తప్పించుకొనునట్లును తప్పించుకొనుము.

6 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; Consider her ways, and be wise:సోమరీ, చీమలయొద్దకు వెళ్లుము వాటి నడతలు కనిపెట్టి జ్ఞానము తెచ్చుకొనుము.

7 Which having no chief, Overseer, or ruler,వాటికి న్యాయాధిపతి లేకున్నను పై విచారణకర్త లేకున్నను అధిపతి లేకున్నను

8 Provideth her bread in the summer, And gathereth her food in the harvest.అవి వేసవికాలమందు ఆహారము సిద్ధపరచుకొనును కోతకాలమందు ధాన్యము కూర్చుకొనును.

9 How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? When wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?సోమరీ, ఎందాక నీవు పండుకొనియుందువు? ఎప్పుడు నిద్రలేచెదవు?

10 `Yet' a little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to sleep:ఇక కొంచెము నిద్రించెదనని కొంచెము కునికెదనని కొంచెముసేపు చేతులు ముడుచుకొని పరుండెదనని నీవనుచుందువు

11 So shall thy poverty come as a robber, And thy want as an armed man.అందుచేత దోపిడిగాడు వచ్చునట్లు దారిద్ర్యము నీయొద్దకు వచ్చును. ఆయుధధారుడు వచ్చునట్లు లేమి నీయొద్దకు వచ్చును.

12 A worthless person, a man of iniquity, Is he that walketh with a perverse mouth;కుటిలమైన మాటలు పలుకువాడు పనికిమాలినవాడును దుష్టుడునై యున్నాడు

13 That winketh with his eyes, that speaketh with his feet, That maketh signs with his fingers;వాడు కన్ను గీటుచు కాళ్లతో సైగచేయును వ్రేళ్లతో గురుతులు చూపును.

14 In whose heart is perverseness, Who deviseth evil continually, Who soweth discord.వాని హృదయము అతిమూర్ఖ స్వభావముగలది వాడెల్లప్పుడు కీడు కల్పించుచు జగడములు పుట్టించును.

15 Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly; On a sudden shall he be broken, and that without remedy.కాబట్టి ఆపద వానిమీదికి హఠాత్తుగా వచ్చును వాడు తిరుగలేకుండ ఆ క్షణమందే నలుగగొట్టబడును.

16 There are six things which Jehovah hateth; Yea, seven which are an abomination unto him:యెహోవాకు అసహ్యములైనవి ఆరు గలవు ఏడును ఆయనకు హేయములు

17 Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, And hands that shed innocent blood;అవేవనగా, అహంకారదృష్టియు కల్లలాడు నాలుకయు నిరపరాధులను చంపు చేతులును

18 A heart that deviseth wicked purposes, Feet that are swift in running to mischief,దుర్యోచనలు యోచించు హృదయమును కీడు చేయుటకు త్వరపడి పరుగులెత్తు పాదములును

19 A false witness that uttereth lies, And he that soweth discord among brethren.లేనివాటిని పలుకు అబద్ధసాక్షియు అన్నదమ్ములలో జగడములు పుట్టించువాడును.

20 My son, keep the commandment of thy father, And forsake not the law of thy mother:నా కుమారుడా, నీ తండ్రి ఆజ్ఞను గైకొనుము నీ తల్లి ఉపదేశమును త్రోసివేయకుము.

21 Bind them continually upon thy heart; Tie them about thy neck.వాటిని ఎల్లప్పుడు నీ హృదయమునందు ధరించు కొనుము నీ మెడచుట్టు వాటిని కట్టుకొనుము.

22 When thou walkest, it shall lead thee; When thou sleepest, it shall watch over thee; And when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee.నీవు త్రోవను వెళ్లునప్పుడు అది నిన్ను నడిపించును నీవు పండుకొనునప్పుడు అది నిన్ను కాపాడును. నీవు మేలుకొనునప్పుడు అది నీతో ముచ్చటించును.

23 For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; And reproofs of instruction are the way of life:ఆజ్ఞ దీపముగాను ఉపదేశము వెలుగుగాను ఉండును. శిక్షార్థమైన గద్దింపులు జీవమార్గములు.

24 To keep thee from the evil woman, From the flattery of the foreigner's tongue.చెడు స్త్రీయొద్దకు పోకుండను పరస్త్రీ పలుకు ఇచ్చకపు మాటలకు లోబడకుండను అవి నిన్ను కాపాడును.

25 Lust not after her beauty in thy heart; Neither let her take thee with her eyelids.దాని చక్కదనమునందు నీ హృదయములో ఆశపడకుము అది తన కనురెప్పలను చికిలించి నిన్ను లోపరచుకొన నియ్యకుము.

26 For on account of a harlot `a man is brought' to a piece of bread; And the adulteress hunteth for the precious life.వేశ్యాసాంగత్యము చేయువానికి రొట్టెతునక మాత్రము మిగిలియుండును. మగనాలు మిక్కిలి విలువగల ప్రాణమును వేటాడును.

27 Can a man take fire in his bosom, And his clothes not be burned?ఒకడు తన ఒడిలో అగ్ని నుంచుకొనినయెడల వాని వస్త్రములు కాలకుండునా?

28 Or can one walk upon hot coals, And his feet not be scorched?ఒకడు నిప్పులమీద నడిచినయెడల వాని పాదములు కమలకుండునా?

29 So he that goeth in to his neighbor's wife; Whosoever toucheth her shall not be unpunished.తన పొరుగువాని భార్యను కూడువాడు ఆ ప్రకారమే నాశనమగును ఆమెను ముట్టువాడు శిక్ష తప్పించుకొనడు.

30 Men do not despise a thief, if he steal To satisfy himself when he is hungry:దొంగ ఆకలిగొని ప్రాణరక్షణకొరకు దొంగిలిన యెడల యెవరును వాని తిరస్కరింపరు గదా.

31 But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; He shall give all the substance of his house.వాడు దొరికినయెడల ఏడంతలు చెల్లింపవలెను తన యింటి ఆస్తి అంతయు అప్పగింపవలెను.

32 He that committeth adultery with a woman is void of understanding: He doeth it who would destroy his own soul.జారత్వము జరిగించువాడు కేవలము బుద్ధిశూన్యుడు ఆ కార్యము చేయువాడు స్వనాశనమును కోరువాడే

33 Wounds and dishonor shall he get; And his reproach shall not be wiped away.వాడు దెబ్బలకును అవమానమునకును పాత్రుడగును వానికి కలుగు అపకీర్తి యెన్నటికిని తొలగిపోదు.

34 For jealousy is the rage of a man; And he will not spare in the day of vengeance.భర్తకు పుట్టు రోషము మహా రౌద్రముగలది ప్రతికారము చేయు కాలమందు అట్టివాడు కనికర పడడు.

35 He will not regard any ransom; Neither will he rest content, though thou givest many gifts.ప్రాయశ్చిత్తమేమైన నీవు చేసినను వాడు లక్ష్య పెట్టడు ఎంత గొప్ప బహుమానములు నీవిచ్చినను వాడు ఒప్పు కొనడు.
