Proverbs 25 - YLT (Telugu)

1 Also these are Proverbs of Solomon, that men of Hezekiah king of Judah transcribed: --ఇవియును సొలొమోను సామెతలే యూదారాజైన హిజ్కియా సేవకులు వీటిని ఎత్తి వ్రాసిరి.

2 The honour of God `is' to hide a thing, And the honour of kings to search out a matter.సంగతి మరుగుచేయుట దేవునికి ఘనత సంగతి శోధించుట రాజులకు ఘనత.

3 The heavens for height, and the earth for depth, And the heart of kings -- `are' unsearchable.ఆకాశముల యెత్తును భూమి లోతును రాజుల అభిప్రాయమును అగోచరములు.

4 Take away dross from silver, And a vessel for the refiner goeth forth,వెండిలోని మష్టు తీసివేసినయెడల పుటము వేయువాడు పాత్రయొకటి సిద్ధపరచును.

5 Take away the wicked before a king, And established in righteousness is his throne.రాజు ఎదుటనుండి దుష్టులను తొలగించినయెడల అతని సింహాసనము నీతివలన స్థిరపరచబడును.

6 Honour not thyself before a king, And in the place of the great stand not.రాజు ఎదుట డంబము చూపకుము గొప్పవారున్న చోట నిలువకుము.

7 For better `that' he hath said to thee, `Come thou up hither,' Than `that' he humble thee before a noble, Whom thine eyes have seen.నీ కన్నులు చూచిన ప్రధానియెదుట ఒకడు నిన్ను తగ్గించుటకంటె ఇక్కడికి ఎక్కి రమ్మని అతడు నీతో చెప్పుట నీకు మేలు గదా.

8 Go not forth to strive, haste, turn, What dost thou in its latter end, When thy neighbour causeth thee to blush?ఆలోచన లేక వ్యాజ్యెమాడుటకు పోకుము నీ పొరుగువాడు నిన్ను అవమానపరచిదాని అంత మున ఇక నీవేమి చేయుదువని నీతో అనునేమో.

9 Thy cause plead with thy neighbour, And the secret counsel of another reveal not,నీ పొరుగువానితో నీవు వ్యాజ్యెమాడవచ్చును గాని పరునిగుట్టు బయటపెట్టకుము.

10 Lest the hearer put thee to shame, And thine evil report turn not back.బయటపెట్టినయెడల వినువాడు నిన్ను అవమానపరచు నేమో అందువలన నీకు కలిగిన అపకీర్తి యెన్నటికిని పోకుం డును.

11 Apples of gold in imagery of silver, `Is' the word spoken at its fit times.సమయోచితముగా పలుకబడిన మాట చిత్రమైన వెండి పళ్లెములలో నుంచబడిన బంగారు పండ్లవంటిది.

12 A ring of gold, and an ornament of pure gold, `Is' the wise reprover to an attentive ear.బంగారు కర్ణభూషణమెట్టిదో అపరంజి ఆభరణ మెట్టిదో వినువాని చెవికి జ్ఞానముగల ఉపదేశకుడు అట్టివాడు.

13 As a vessel of snow in a day of harvest, `So is' a faithful ambassador to those sending him, And the soul of his masters he refresheth.నమ్మకమైన దూత తనను పంపువారికి కోతకాలపు మంచు చల్లదనమువంటివాడు వాడు తన యజమానుల హృదయమును తెప్పరిల్ల జేయును.

14 Clouds and wind, and rain there is none, `Is' a man boasting himself in a false gift.కపటమనస్సుతో దానమిచ్చి డంబము చేయువాడు వర్షములేని మబ్బును గాలిని పోలియున్నాడు.

15 By long-suffering is a ruler persuaded, And a soft tongue breaketh a bone.దీర్ఘశాంతముచేత న్యాయాధిపతిని ఒప్పించ వచ్చును సాత్వికమైన నాలుక యెముకలను నలుగగొట్టును.

16 Honey thou hast found -- eat thy sufficiency, Lest thou be satiated `with' it, and hast vomited it.తేనె కనుగొంటివా? తగినంతమట్టుకే త్రాగుము అధికముగా త్రాగినయెడల కక్కి వేయుదువేమో

17 Withdraw thy foot from thy neighbour's house, Lest he be satiated `with' thee, and have hated thee.మాటిమాటికి నీ పొరుగువాని యింటికి వెళ్లకుము అతడు నీవలన విసికి నిన్ను ద్వేషించునేమో.

18 A maul, and a sword, and a sharp arrow, `Is' the man testifying against his neighbour a false testimony.తన పొరుగువానిమీద కూటసాక్ష్యము పలుకువాడు సమ్మెటను ఖడ్గమును వాడిగల అంబును పోలినవాడు.

19 A bad tooth, and a tottering foot, `Is' the confidence of the treacherous in a day of adversity.శ్రమకాలములో విశ్వాసఘాతకుని ఆశ్రయించుట విరిగిన పళ్లతోను కీలు వసిలిన కాలుతోను సమానము.

20 Whoso is taking away a garment in a cold day, `Is as' vinegar on nitre, And a singer of songs on a sad heart.దుఃఖచిత్తునికి పాటలు వినుపించువాడు చలిదినమున పైబట్ట తీసివేయువానితోను సురేకారముమీద చిరకపోయువానితోను సమానుడు.

21 If he who is hating thee doth hunger, cause him to eat bread, And if he thirst, cause him to drink water.నీ పగవాడు ఆకలిగొనినయెడల వానికి భోజనము పెట్టుము దప్పిగొనినయెడల వానికి దాహమిమ్ము

22 For coals thou art putting on his head, And Jehovah giveth recompense to thee.అట్లు చేయుటచేత వాని తలమీద నిప్పులు కుప్పగా పోయుదువు యెహోవా అందుకు నీకు ప్రతిఫలమిచ్చును.

23 A north wind bringeth forth rain, And a secret tongue -- indignant faces.ఉత్తరపు గాలి వాన పుట్టించును కొండెగాని నాలుక కోపదృష్టి కలిగించును.

24 Better to sit on a corner of a roof, Than `with' a woman of contentions, and a house of company.గయ్యాళితో పెద్ద యింట నుండుటకంటె మిద్దెమీద నొక మూలను నివసించుట మేలు

25 `As' cold waters for a weary soul, So `is' a good report from a far country.దప్పిగొనినవానికి చల్లని నీరు ఎట్లుండునో దూరదేశమునుండి వచ్చిన శుభసమాచారము అట్లుం డును.

26 A spring troubled, and a fountain corrupt, `Is' the righteous falling before the wicked.కలకలు చేయబడిన ఊటయు చెడిపోయిన బుగ్గయు నీతిమంతుడు దుష్టునికి లోబడుటయు సమానములు.

27 The eating of much honey is not good, Nor a searching out of one's own honour -- honour.తేనె నధికముగా త్రాగుట మంచిది కాదు. దుర్లభమైన సంగతి పరిశీలన చేయుట ఘనతకు కార ణము.

28 A city broken down without walls, `Is' a man without restraint over his spirit!ప్రాకారము లేక పాడైన పురము ఎంతో తన మనస్సును అణచుకొనలేనివాడును అంతే.
